Barbeques Galore Rockingham - shocking!!
We brought an apparent 'top of the range' fireplace in March, in August the fan was making ticking noises, took 4 weeks to actually get someone out to have a look at it, when they did the fan was burnt out apparently and they had to drill out the screws- I've rang them to see whats happening, they have the new fan in store (this was two weeks ago) and still no one has come to fix it.... this is now 6 weeks since first enquiring about the issue - this is a joke... Unfortunately I will never ever recommend BBQ Galore Rockingham to anyone and won't be recommending their products either - you spend $4000 on a fireplace you don't expect it to break 4months later.

Worst customer service at Rockingham
The staff I delt with were so rude I couldn't believe it! I actually regretted handing my money over and won't be shopping there again. Especially the brunette girl (she wasn't wearing her name badge so I couldn't get her name)
She was actually snappy with me for no reason. I was horrified. One of the other staff members (who was absolutely lovely) actually apologised profusely for her behaviour. She was so embarrassed. That lady was the stores saving grace.
I suggest you employ more people like her- that actually want to be at work.
Outdoor furniture looks OK but a little flimsy
I purchased an outdoor dining set from our local BBQS galore. It looked great and sturdy enough on display however I did not like the fact that it was flat packed and requiring a lot of assembly. It took a few a hours overall as some bits and pieces did not lock in properly and a screw was missing. This compromised the quality of the set, although I'm not entirely satisfied with the quality it was cheap enough and took too long to put together for me to care anymore. It does look good and fits the space well. I have some heavy friends and wouldn't be comfortable to have them sit out on the balcony on this set. If you are looking for something sturdy I wouldn't recommend anything flat packed from my experience.
We bought a Goldair 2400 W Outdoor Radiant heater from the Kawana store. The brochure advertises a coverage of 17 to 25 sq metres. Unfortunately this is gross exaggeration as our heater barely covers 4 sq metres effectively on a cold evening.
We rang the store and were told they would investigate with their Southern HQ and that was the last we heard!
Don't waste your money on this product as it does perform as advertised.
Don't ever buy any product from BBQ Galore...
I paid a deposit for a part for a bbq for my husband's birthday... At the time I told the salesman that I needed this asap as this was meant to be a surprise. I was so happy I finally found the right gift. So they had no hesitation in taking deposit from my bank account upon a guaranteed delivery the next day which failed to eventuate. No delivery date is forecast after when it is in stock at the warehouse. Why??? I was told these things take time to get from one side of the warehouse to the other and this item was a very light product. Unfortu...nately we did purchase a bbq from them and upon installation they had delivered the wrong connection. We are still waiting??? Alarm bells are ringing. Would I ever purchase there again never...Hence the reason most of my purchases are online...Why waste your time going to stores. But time was my enemy... A big lesson has been learnt.

I would like to compliment the staff at your Morley branch, I very much wish I had gone to this shop before I had bought a Big Green Egg, there is no doubt I would have come home with a Kamado Joe.
The staff at your Morley store it seems cannot do enough to make a visit to the shop a happy occasion, they have gone out of their way and travelled that extra yard to help with any enquiry and with whatever product I have purchased, they apparently believe in good, old-fashioned service.
I ...recently had to use a warranty on the Maverick Wireless Thermometer which unfortunately stopped working within the warranty period. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly a young man by the name off Steve arranged for a replacement. His friendly and helpful manner along with his humour is a winner, something that will ensure Morley will be my first port of call for my Barbeque requirements
Barbecues Galore manipulate the market, they price fix on barbecues. They are noncompetitive and won't negotiate a better deal. I'm guessing they dropped out of the Webber range because they couldn't get a mark up margin to their desired level of profit. Their Zizzler Brown brand is their own brand & is non competitive, between stores they won't negotiate offers or reduce prices. Currently they have a marketing campaign offering "Mid Year Deals" .. at Xmas time they also offer end of year year "deals" BUT their deals never include a reduction to their Ziggler Brown products. It's about time people stood their ground & boycotted Barbecues Galore until their "Sales" items include all their range of products

Buy Big Ticket Items At Your Own Risk
I bought a Kamado Big Joe for $2000 and the springs that hold the lid up has failed so I thought I'll buy new springs as warranty will more than likely be a pain. Mind you Kamado give a 5 year warranty on all metal parts. The person in the store could not find the part on the system I would have to leave my name and number and wait for someone to ring. I left the store disappointed. I'm having trouble buying the part so why not go through warranty. Followed the warranty claim did not hear anything, rang they said I'm on the system and someone w...ill be in contact to organise a date and time to replace the faulty part, I haven't heard anything else for well over a month. Customer service is zero. I contacted Kamado Joe they don't want to know you. Also I noticed on their website they have reviews for most products and I like to read reviews before I buy a product so I thought I will add my review about the Kamado Big Joe. I think they screen the reviews and if there are any negativity they won't display. My review was very honest and I gave the Kamado a 3/5 stars but it never made it to their reviews page where the other 2 reviews are all 5 stars. So I don't rely on their reviews. I think of BBQ'S Galore as a public toilet, you don't go out of your way to use them but only if you're desperate. I wouldn't buy big ticket items again, but with this brand of Kamado there wasn't much of a choice. Keep BBQ's Galore for purchasing charcoal and plastic cups even a little expensive but if you're desperate what are you going to do. I will only buy items from them that if they break, I'm happy to throw them in the bin. Remember I was willing to purchase the faulty parts before going through warranty. Good Luck.
We recently bought 2 garden seating sets from barbeques galore. The furniture was really nice. At an extra cost, you can have the furniture assembled. The man and woman who came to do ours, were from Erina store on Central coast. They were pleasant and efficient. Very nice to deal with. They did a great job assembling the complicated pieces together.
It would be really great if stores like this took the packaging. For what they charge, you would think it would be included. Otherwise, nice products, nice staff. Quick delivery and drama free service.
Our BBQ's Galore Wood Fire Places are Excellent
We bought both units from the Goulburn store and customer service from Adam and his team is 1st class.
The first fire place was installed late 2001 and it's still going like new. Had to replace the door glass and seals which is normal maintenance for that time period. The other unit installed early 2012 is a Eureka two-way with three speed fan and it is the best fire we have seen and used. It gets cold in Goulburn but not in our home!!!
Dean at BBQ's Galore Goulburn is a terrific fellow to deal with. We will not shop any where else and I...should add that service and cleaning (of wood fires) is organised by them as well. You may have guessed by now - we highly recommend BBQ's Galore Goulburn for all domestic wood fire equipment and advice.
Great service at Barbeques Galore Penrith
Had not checked my BBQ for a long time and urgently needed a new hotplate and grill to replace rusted ones. Walked into Barbeques Galore at Penrith NSW and found exactly what was required with the best customer service experienced for a while! Thanks Josh for your advice and also a good price!
good bbq and great service
I purchased a two burner Ziggler and Brown turbo elite from the Osborne Park store after having a four burner turbo for sixteen years from the same store. We had trouble with three different new natural gas lines that were fitted. After the third one caused problems the store manager came out ( on Saturday) personally, and fitted a fourth one which has solved the problem. The stainless steel grills were also causing the meat to be cooked with a grey finish. The manager replaced the grill with the old fashion cast iron ones like our previous BBQ had and we have had great grilling since.
We would continue to patronise this store because of their service.
Worst Service Ever.
I purchased an outdoor dining set and I paid the delivery fee, but not once was I told that the cleanup of the boxes was to be made by me, they were quick in taking money for a delivery but not in helping with the cleanup, on calling the store to complain, BBQ galore blamed the delivery company, when it was their responsibility to inform the customer, if I'd known from the day of purchase, I could have saved the delivery fee and collected the furniture myself, really disappointed in the company for their lack of customer service. I'm now left with trying to dismantle a very large box outside my property.
Best Customer Service Ever - Capalaba Store
Just purchased a Ziggy Portable BBQ from Capalaba BBQ Galore store.
The girl who served us Bridgette was an OUTSTANDING sales person. She really should be congratulated for her customer service.
Will never set foot in any other BBQ Galore store unless its the CAPALABA one.

Got the sales, followed by extremely poor service
I am an extremely dissatisfied customer: after being sold the Turbo Elite 2 burner BBQ (>1,800AUD) on the Saturday, the sales person said it would be ready for pick up on Tuesday (needed natural gas conversion). I said I would pick it up on the following week-end. The sales person said they'd be in touch by phone (didn't happen). The following week-end I show up at the store to be told the BBQ is to be picked up from the warehouse and that it only opens at 12pm: at no point in time I was ever informed of the different pick up location and restr...icted operating hours. I went back home and then to the warehouse at 12pm: a staff showed up 5 min late with 6 customers waiting to be served. We had to all help him (end each other) load the products in our respective vehicles. The customer before me informed me that they had had issues with their order but finally got their BBQ... they kindly hoped that I wouldn't have a similar bad experience myself... Arrives my time to be served: the natural gas conversion had not been carried out!!! After 20min of phone calls between the staff and the store, I was explained that the salesperson had not notified anyone of the need for the conversion, and that the person doing the conversions was not working on the day. I explained this was not enough, as I had guests coming for a BBQ within 2h. I was told that someone would come and do the conversion within the hour. After yet an other trip home back and forth, I picked up the BBQ and only received a basic 'sorry' from. Considering the circumstances, an immediate drop off and assembly by Barbecue Galore would have been the least expected by most customers. I had spent enough time and energy dealing with this so I went home to assemble the BBQ in a rush, in front of my guests. We ended up having to cook on the kitchen stove as a result. After I finished assembling the BBQ later in the afternoon, I realised the cover I was sold was the wrong one. Kind of the cherry on the cake... The following week I go back to the store to have it exchanged, and I reiterated my disappointment with the whole service. All I was told is 'sorry' and that 'it won't happen again' (to which I agreed, as I won't be back unless I have to). This is EXTREMELY poor customer service.
Barbeques Galore Batemans Bay were great
Friendly service and fantastic product knowledge make it a joy to visit this store in Batemans Bay. They service my pool and I have bought outdoor furniture and a Cucina BBQ there. I wouldn't go anywhere else because their product knowledge is great. I notice someone else has left a negative review about them regarding a heater from 5 years ago which is why I am posting this review. The new owners have only been there for 2 years so everyone can disregard that review. Highly recommend these guys esp Tim and Aron the pool guys. Keep up the good work.
poor quality barbeque
I purchased a patiomaster for 400 $ and rust appeared on the grill after 7 months used!called the store and heard that rust in not covered by warranty. hopeless staff, who just said that you have to spray your grill with oil very often.why they did not say it once I purchased it??????very very disappointed
