Not happy with service
Small makeover to take 2 days took 18 days to complete regrouting tiles and painting of a shower hip bath. Work done by incompetent tradesmen needed to be repaired by more experienced tradesmen. Took an extra week for an experienced worker to start the repair, then another week for the next expert to complete the repairs. The claim of no mess is a joke, spent over an hour cleaning grout out of floor tiles, as well as having to clean all surfaces. Grout material was thrown out onto front garden and lawn, not happy with having to remove debris left by lazy messy workers. The finished work is pleasing but not worth the stress and anxiety experienced by this very senior citizen.

Middling durability and errors by installers
We paid $950 in March 2016 to re-enamel our 50+ year old cast iron bath in an off-white tone. We chose not to have the complimentary chrome waste surround installed. The franchisee was friendly and considerate. Initially we found the enamel to be very prone to scratches and the surface totally failed in the first year, with large sections peeling away and countless other cracks and chips.
In line with their 7 Year written guarantee Bathroom Werx sent someone out to fix the problem. The franchise in Perth had changed hands since the initial work...
Blocked drain uneven grouting rude customer service
I now have a massive plumbing issue at hand and they grouting have my bathroom a different colour to rest then went through a lot of hassle for them to fix it but rework was a disaster causing me plunging issues. Better use smaller 1 man company this company is a total disaster.
Making it difficult to even get a quote!
I am currently looking to renovate three bathrooms and called the 1800 number to book an appointment for a quote in Sydney. Spoke to the 'regional manager'. First of all, they cannot send someone for over four weeks. Others I called jumped at the opportunity given there are three bathrooms. Secondly they cannot give a time on the day so you have to wait for them for half a day to get a quote. I decided to call others. If it is such a hassle getting a quote what is going to happen once you book in the work? Quite a few reviews here reflect the s...ame attitude before and after work. My suggestion to whoever owns/profiting from this business is to relook at your customer service and the quoting process unless you are already doing extremely well and don't care about customers and prospects...
Asked for a quote. Guy cancelled then we had to chase him again to come and give uss a quote. Never called when he said. Had to chase several times for quote result. He lost his notes then when we got the quote it was wrong . Then when we FINALLY got our quote I thought it was very expensive for what we wanted. Very poor service and follow up
I read they do 3 coats 15mins between each coat, so I got them out.
The guy we got did only one coat and stayed in the bathroom for the rest of the time and now because it was only one coat it has chip and looks terrible. Why would you do this Bathwerx, you don't do a professional job frim the begining and you don't do right thing by your customers.
I'd like the two 2 coats I paid for.
Three cancellations to fix a problem
We were initially very happy with the job as our bathroom looks great but only a few months on and we have found peeling on some tiles. We have rung and three times the company was booked to come out to fix the problem. They have not showed up once. Appalling follow up service. Very unhappy. Will not be recommending them to anyone.
At first, great. 4 years later, cracking & No Help!!!
At first, everything was fine. 4 years later our bath re-enamel is cracking along the wall & today I had my 3rd cancellation by Bathroom Werx to come out and fix it. The first appointment no-one came, No phone call, nothing. 'I don't know what happened there' the girl said and re-scheduled, but for weeks later. That appointment was cancelled due to 'illness' and 2 months later my appointment was cancelled once again due to illness. The young gentleman actually made it here to have a look about 5 weeks ago and pealed off more enamel, he was half...an hour late and said he was at the wrong house knocking on their door for that amount of time. He said he would make a report but when I rang a week later I was told he 'did not make a report' and I had to re-tell the story once again. The warranty is obviously not any good to me as they have been trying to 'fob me off' for more than 2 months now. I am in S.A. Where to from here? excellent result at first cracking, warranty not honoured so far
