Beaurepairs Morningside Qld poor service or lack of..they don't want your business
8am Monday morning called into Morningside dealer to get a trailer Tyre puncture repaired and got belittled by service guy as the tyre was old and way beyond expiry date, maybe I should have known that but ok fair enough...lesson learned.
He could not be bothered to give me a quote on the spot for 2 new ones so I filled out a form with all my details and they were to get back to me that day which unfortunately meant I would have to drive all the way back to take the tyres back.
That was over a week ago, still waiting on that quote!
Went to B...
Really bad service at richmond beaurepairs - made me feel very uncomfortable
I dropped off a tyre with a slow leak (which required pumping up every three or four days) at the Richmond Beaurepairs centre on Bridge Road. I was told that it could be repaired and if not, I had warranty insurance as the tyres had been purchased at this store previously. I was advised that it would be ready for pick up the next day. I then gave my mobile number and left. Due to work commitments I did not return for 4 days. When I arrived they had no idea who I was. I went into the work area with the guy and there was a pile of about 10 wheel...s in the corner. The guy rifled through the wheels which were unlabelled and advised which one was mine. I had no idea if it was or not - it hadnt been repaired. He said her could repair it in 15 minutes. I advised that I would be back in an hour. I returned an hour and a half later and it still wasn't ready. I was then told that I needed a new tyre as it was a "bad" leak. I was then advised that I would need to come back a fourth time as it wasnt in stock and that I didnt have warranty insurance - despite being told previously that I did (which meant I would have to pay nearly $300). The whole process was a debacle and I requested that I be provided a discount for my trouble. As a woman, their attitude left me feeling really uncomfortable. Im not even convinced they were assessing the correct wheel. I requested that they return the wheel and I will get it assessed elsewhere. I had spent over $1000 a few months earlier and will NEVER go back !!!
Do not use this company - rummaged through my car
I went to Beaurepairs South Yarra to have a tyre puncture repaired. I watched the repairer reinstall the wheel without balancing it. When questioned the managerI was told it was balanced. When questioned a second time it became clear that it had not been balanced and the wheel had to be re-removed, balanced and refitted. When I entered my vehicle, the car's 'secret compartment' where I had securely hidden my wallet, was wide open. It was closed when the vehicle entered the premises. When I questioned the guy asking 'why did you go through ...my things' he gave me a blank look. I asked 'were you looking for money or cards?' He looked blankly and then said 'sorry'. Do not use this company. They did not repair the tyre correctly and then when through my car looking for something. Having a person go through your personal belongings when you expect they will just do the task they are requested to undertake leaves a terrible feeling. I feel I have been violated. Do not use this company
Just go somewhere else.
I've used Beaurepaires services twice. 1st was getting a wheel alignment for both cars. One of the cars was still not aligned correctly and had to return for them to sort it out after they blamed the angle of our roads.
2nd was 2 new front tyres. Steering wheel now doesn't face straight when driving in a straight line but was perfect beforehand. Can't say the wheels weren't aligned properly as they're the ones that aligned them previously.
Have since consulted other people for their experiences with Beaurepaires and it seems that my issues ar...en't isolated. (For the rep that replies with a copy pasted response to everyone on this website, if you truly are sorry and want to help, send me a voucher to get my cars wheels safely aligned. Honestly, I want my car to be safe and will provide requested information.)
Terrible, just Terrible
Dropped a tire off for a puncture repair around 8am Saturday morning at Currimundi. Left my contact details (with the manager) and had already checked the closing time on Google, 1pm. Later on: no call, so I called them around 12, no answer. I go to the store, closed at 11 and won’t open until Monday morning. I was on vacation from brisbane and had to be back to work on Monday. I took the train home and put my family in a hotel for another night. When my wife picked up the tire on monday morning she was told that they lost my info and were overdue to change the hours for Google. She got a “sorry” and was charged $40 for the repair. I’ve paid $20 for an identical repair in the past.
Brand loyalty DOESN'T pay
We have always used our local Beaurepaires. Got a flat over the Xmas break and thought it was time to change our tyres as we were at 60000km with the originals. Got online to compare Beaurepaire tyres with online tyre sales. Beaurepaires were offering a coupon discount of 15% off the tyres but online sales were still cheaper. Our mistake was to choose brand loyalty and pay sightly more - which turned out to be even more as the wheel alignment wasn't included. We ended up paying what was the "saving"/discounted amount for an alignment - so really - there was no discount at all as the online guys offered the alignment for free with 4 new tyres. So a note to ourselves - it doesn't pay to be brand loyal.
They treat customers like they're stupid & don't know they're being ripped off
I made a booking to remove & patch a nail that was in one of my tyres. Later that day a man called to say that he couldn't fit the patch because the tyre didn't have enough tread.
He said I had to replace two tyres & quoted me $165 each which I knew was expensive for a small I30. I asked for more options & he said there's one for $150.
That night I did an internet search & quickly found mid-range brand name tyres for far less.
I also read on NRMA that tyres in general last around 40,000KM. My car's only done 22,000KM! I always check tyre pressure & don't drive aggressively at all.
It was a disgraceful rip-off.
Worst experience first and last one!!
I went to Beautepaires Parramatta for wheel alignment and the Manager after checking my tyres told me he don’t wanna waste his time because my tyres were not 100% ok. I asked to do it anyway as I’m paying for his time and service but he refused to give me service until they sell me tyres on the spot. Instead, I went to Bob Jane for same reason, checked my tyres and was told that I need to change my tyres after 5000 Ks but they did wheel alignment for me and happy days. The Manager at Beariepaires O’Connell st actually didn’t wanna work and serv...e me as there were no other cars and he was enjoying the luxuary of being sitting there doing nothing and turning customers away for any crap reason. hence they deserve a 1 star service not because of not doing my job but refusing and showing attitude as if the Manager was doing it for free. Disappointed!!
Puncture repaired in Alice Springs but ended up with a flat tyre as the valve extension was ripped off. They denied responsibility, not a good experience.
Dont know what they are doing
I had two Toyo tyres fitted to the front two wheels of my Ranger Ute. I was advised that I should get at least 30-40,000Kms wear from them. At about the 10,000km use both tyres were showing clear signs of wearing on the outside edges. I went back into Pt Lincoln Beaurepaire and asked one of the young guys about this uneven tyre wear - he assured me that that was "normal" on Rangers. I was unconvinced as I couldn't believe that uneven wear was 'normal'. At 17,000kms the worn area was so bad that it was a hazard - I then had the tyres replaced. C...learly there are employees at Pt Lincoln Beaurepaire that are not properly trained or simply couldn't care less. After more than 20 years as a customer I will not be returning to this outlet for tyres again..
Bad service but great photo op
I had RACV tow me to Mulgrave Beaurepairs on Friday. Needed a tyre changed so I could get my 8 month pregnant daughter in law and son to a surgical consult for delivery and was told only one person working and would not be able to do it for a minimum of 2 hours. I had to ring RACV get them to do the job in Beaurepairs car park.
Booked online, a week later turn up to the store, nothing in stock and dont have the staff to do the work.
Contact the online team to what happen, no response
Would rate zero stars
I called to ask if they had time to change a tyre on a wheel (before I would book an Uber into the city) They confirmed they could do it 100% there and then so I went in- only to be told on arrival that they were now too busy.... Taking photos of a Lamborghini on their phones. Zero customer service, no apology, zero manners. Just shrugged their shoulders and kept repeating 'sorry mate we don't have time' when I continued about how we had literally just had a conversation of me taking the trip to bring it in, he cut me off with the same blunt sentance, then left to continue looking over the Lamborghini (with the rest of the entire team) who were also 'too busy' to work that day.
New Tire? Really?
I had an nail go into my tire. a big nail but not that big.
The told me they could not patch the tire and that I needed a new tire. The hole was tiny. If they cannot fix a nail hole, what can they fix?
South melb manager rude and unhelpfull
Asked for puncture repair, Tyre was of car nail was visible, asked if I could pick it up in 4 hours, was told no way, asked if I could put air in tyre was told I would have to wait, manager proceeded to office with no customers and got on computer. I picked up tyre inflator manager quickly came out and told me I couldn’t use equipment. Will never go there again and will avoid beaurepairs.
off his face
Never use this camberwell tyre service again no care attitude so unprofessional typically a Monday in the trade good bye.
Absolutely pathetic Beaurepaires KILMORE
Beaurepaires in Kilmore is hopeless, intimidating owner & staff who appear to me & others not to give a dam about any form of service or advice. The place seems deserted, been here twice but got nowhere. I don’t understand how they stay in business because they have no idea how to sell or give any service. Ist time I went in the owner says that they couldn’t fit tyres today as were flat out but could fit tomorrow. 2nd visit I asked if they had a certain size tyre available & response was no & that’s all they say so I left. No idea how to sell or service customers.Total couldn’t give a s... attitude. Fail fail fail Beaurepaires Kilmore.
rudeness at South Melbourne
Unprofessional service over the phone when I twice phoned to try to book work on my car at South Melbourne Beaurepaires only to be cut short by their spokesperson, ASH, who even promised to phone me back, and failed to do even that much. I will go elsewhere.
Cancelling my account
I have been a account customer of there's for over ten years $500+ for a puncture repair what a joke
Very poor service
Two dunlops failed at 75percent manager didn't know what to do, called my story crap until advised otherwise 2 days later.
Extremely poor customer service
3 men standing around the Virginia store no cars in shop told us can't fix punctured tyre cause there closing at 11am and this was at 10;15 am (thing is we went across the road to brisbane tyres who with no question fixed my tyre). To watch the beaurepair close the store well b4 closing time.. your company must be making a huge profit to be able to turn customers away like this.. I for one will never return to any beaurepairs store after this insident and I'll be telling the world about the laziness of the staff at the Virginia store brisbane..
I purchased truck tyres at Beaurepaires Keysborough-light commercial vehicles and they kindly fitted and balanced them, after one of their employee went somewhere to borrow airgun/wrench so that he can unscrew wheel nuts.On my way back home shaking steering wheel indicated bad tyre balancing work. However in order to be sure I visited my mechanic, just to check joints and bearings but he confirmed that tyres need to be re-balanced again. Went back there and requested re-balancing. Airgun was an issue again so I've been asked to give them some t...ime to organize it and they will contact me, soon as they are ready. Week later no call, txt or email so I had to go to another place to sort it out. Great way to loose a client, rating for their service equals zero but product review system forces me to pick at least one star.
Went for a wheel alignment. Battery died somehow?? so they sold me a new one. Incompetent installation put my car into limp mode so they left me in the car park and went home. Joined racq who said it's an electrical fault (shock) and requires an autoelectrician. 4 hours later I'm still in the car park waiting for a tow truck. All I wanted was a wheel alignment!!! Not impressed. Will NEVER use Beaurepairs again.
Rang to ask if they would be able fix a screw in my tyre.
The Toowoomba store told me that i would be better to ring bob jane as they won't to nock of early.
The person on the phone was not very helpful.
I have been dealing with this store for many years.
So now they have 5 less vehicles to fit tyres too.
Good advice & good deal
I looked online at lots of companies etc and was trying to narrow down what to buy. Usually I walk around to the three dealers and get quotes.
I wrote down the main points for 4 types of tyres and was going to ring but a customer service chat box opened and I was able to ask them more details and then get a few quotes.
The quotes were emailed to me & I was able to keep a copy of the online chat session.
I got an online special price which was valid for 1 or 2 days (can't remember). I rang the main number to order the tyres, the phone st...
