Dishonest
Sales assistant knew nothing about their products, just wanted to sell us anything. We got ripped off with some tyres that we found out about 12 months later were discontinued because they were so dangerous especially in wet conditions.
Poor quality.
To start with, bought new tyres last july 2020 so not even 18months.
Went to local store in Elizabeth s.a. to get new battery for my xr6. Only to be told by someone working there that the battery i wanted doesnt fit. They told me that they will order another one that will fit but its the lastest and best but its dearer. Suss about it but need new battery.
Then they tell me i have got bald tyres and they need replacing. When they checked when i got them, THEY told me it was last july. I told them I dont think i have even done 20,000ks yet. I ...
Read moreasked if they have my odometer reading for when tyres were fitted, cos I dont think they should be that bad after this short time, they ignored my question and just said they can order in new ones. I havent been interstate just local driving. Got Dunlop tyres and not realy happy about my mileage. So now i have to replace my tyres. I will be checking my mileage on new tyres. Better do more than the last lot. Bought other tyres that have lasted me at 3 years. Never said anything about warranty on the tyres either. Usually it at least 30,000k or 3 years, at least I thought. All my friends cant believe i need new ones already- Verified

Rip off
BEAUREPAIRS BURNIE TASMANIA
My daughter took her car to be fitted with two tyres quoted at $90 each. When she went to pick up her car $272 they added on all these extras that were not asked for nor were they accepted. Tried to call head office every day for 5 days and nothing but excuses.
RIP OFF
Bad all round!
Ok the day I took my new car to beaurepaires, I had driven on top of a gutter (yeah I know lol) anyway I took it there they said it will have to be a cash sale so I did it I paid $450.00 cash for work done on my car, I go to pick it up the next day his having problems with my car as it wouldn't turn off! So eventually it turned off then we go for a test drive when you turned hard right or left it was like something was grinding on something? The sound was loud! And my steering wheel was crooked wasn't straight!! Seriously? So he tells me to dr...
Read moreive it to another place cause his not allowed to take the steering wheel off because the air bag! I take it to the other place he tells me he can't do it !! So I drive it back to beaurepaires and says ok bring it back tomorrow, . Note he worked on it on 4 different occasions so he says bring it back next week but I drive to my shop 40 mins every Morning and the sound was getting louder and on my dashboard it was displaying chassis warnings and system failure so I decided to ring my insurance! ( the reason I didn't put it through earlier is because they said its cheaper to do it this way) . Note! I didnt take it back!!! Anyway so my insurance told me to take it to a repair place they use I take it there and the assessor comes back and says did you drive this here ? I say yes why? His like omg!! You are so lucky your still alive!! The work beaurepaires did on my car he made it worse he . The sound I could hear was from the left control arm that he put in it was grinding on my brakes , the brakes had a massive indent from the controlle arm he tightened it that tight he did more damage!! So now my insurance won't reimburse me for work they have to fix 2 times!! So I'm trying to chase beaurepaires for a refund and yup you guessed it no reply!! But I will be taking this further! For loss of work and damage to my car!!Don’t go there
Went in for wheel alignment, Found rear tyres bald so they order some. Gave it a alignment and driving home at 100 kms could not keep car on the road. After calling them up I get the response of, for damn sake from the office lady, told me they would call back. 4 days later I call and yes the tyres where there, no call from them,, I didn’t go back. The place has not changed since last manager, crap then. Crap now
When they say it will be an hour - IT WONT
I dropped by my local Beaurepaires tyre store to book in my lease 4WD utility for replacement of tyres. I had used this shop previously for a staked right rear tyre with no issue. The technician came across as being professional, and recommended another tyre type as those on the vehicle were no longer produced. I knew this, the same matter had been raised with the earlier replacement when I staked the right rear, so I suggested a match with the type that had swapped onto the spare previously...they recommended another type this time, so I de...
Read moreferred to their knowledge and experience. From here on in the experience went to pot. I returned to the shop at 2 pm same day for swap out. I rang before arriving to make sure there wasn't any delays. All good they said they were ready for me. On arrival was told my car would be next so I set myself up in their waiting room and continued working remotely. Nice stools, table and a power point for the laptop. Over two hours later the same technician wanders in, asks me my name and phone number (which was already on the order book from the morning, and we had spoken again when I arrived back at the shop). He then proceeds to call me by the wrong name and lets me know that the lease company have told him the tyres he recommended aren't suitable for my vehicle load and are can't be authorised for install (they would have failed under weight of vehicle). Now you would think that an experienced technician would have checked first with manufacturer's specifications before making such a recommendation in the first place and then getting the tyres delivered to the shop. Seems he didn't and got caught out. So no tyres that day and stupidly I went with the suggestion of coming back the following day when appropriate tyres would be made available. Oh yes it got worse! Back 3:15 pm next day and was informed my tyres will be replaced and ready in 45 mins (I thought 4 tyres, approximately 12 mins/tyre for one technician - optimistic; maybe they are going to throw more resources at the job given yesterday's stuff up). Come back to shop 30 mins later. Job hasn't even started - I should have left then. At 5:30 pm the technician wanders in and lets me know my tyres have been replaced but they have sheared off one of the wheel lugs. His suggestion was drive it to Morningside and a mechanic will replace it. When I explained that is not going to happen he didnt see my point. I explained that knowingly driving a vehicle that was now essentially defective on a public road could land not only me in trouble but him also if there was an accident. He didn't agree that driving a vehicle with missing wheel lugs could damage the vehicle, nor would it be an issue. So I made it clear that I wouldn't be leaving with the vehicle nor should anyone drive it from the property unless the damage was rectified first. They were responsible for breaking the wheel nut off in the post so fix it. Now I copped flack for the car being improperly maintained. No sorry mate its a lease vehicle, and maintained by one of the leading European car dealers in Brisbane having not missed a service. Funny thing was when I then explained that the fault was on the same wheel they had replaced previously and maybe hadn't been torqued the nut correctly it was then because of rust on the thread surface. I asked don't you use penetrating oil (WD-40) when you encounter such problems - reportedly not! So two days later I get my car back from when originally booked in. Emailing their head office didn't help - there was no customer service number to ring and when I emailed for a call to maybe expedite solving this problem I was ignored. I am happy with the tyres, but head office should know that the shop guys are way too stretched. They need to recognise that an apology goes a long way, as well as keeping people informed when you can't promise on what you say you can do. In addition trying to flog off internal tyre stocks you hold in store instead of actually putting something on fit for purpose shouldn't be happening. I get the feeling this is more common than just occurring with me after over hearing some of the sales pitches that were landed on others coming in for tyres whilst I sat around waiting. Regretfully I won't be shopping with my local retailer for tyres in the future and will be taking my business to one of their competitors.Find out how Beaurepaires Australia compares to other Vehicle Accessories & Parts Shops

Intimidation.
I was intimidated by a worker at Beaurepairs in Nambour today for parking in a public car space while I was working. He had parked a vehicle 5cms from the back of my car and when I requested he move the car for me to leave, he told me not to park there again, and if I did that he would damage my car. The Incident has been reported to the police.
Used to be good!
I called them and made a booking for the same day fitting and got a quote for 4 tyres (Pay for 3 and get 1 free for $414). Went to the store and got the job done but they charged me more than what I was quoted. When I told the store guy that I do have a quote for $414 his response was “ No it’s impossible! What I can do is to give you a free alignment next time!!” Paid the invoice and called the customer service, they checked my quote and saw the invoice and told me they will investigate it and will get back to me. I haven’t heard anything back!!!
I have been a loyal customer for more than 10 years but the last experience was shocking.

Dishonest
I ordered and paid for a specific set of tyres a week before they were to be fitted. A couple of weeks after the tyres were fitted I noticed that they were not what I ordered. So I go to chat online and was told that I would have to fill out a feedback form. Having done that I get an email, that offered a pile of excuses why the cheaper tyre that I got was a superior tyre from the same brand I should have been told when I went to have them fitted or any time while I was waiting.
After a series of emails the store manager emailed with a semi-apology and a 'How may we rectify this issue for you?'
I have asked for a differential refund which I expect. Either way I will never trust Beaurepaires.

front wheel balance
after a front wheel balance at Nerang there was just a small vibration in steering wheel after, so returned thinking everybody is human and maybe needs a little fine tune....got every excuse from bad brakes to steering wheel not straight even said bash plate was just hanging on -two bolts missing and could contribute, although when got home checked and the bolts that they replaced miraculously match all the other bolts underbody ( as in red dirt and mud ) why not just check your work first instead of telling somebody who drives the car everyday for 6+ years that there wrong?? just trying to get a wheel alignment and other work out of you maybe?

Absolutely terrible service.
Absolutely terrible service.
Had a puncture repair.
Complained they had no ramp available or a jack.
Made me a 60 year old fit the tyre myself.
After paying the bill she said she would wheel oy the wheel.
Of course she didn't and after waiting over 10 mins had to remind her.
Of course my cars jack jammed and one of the staff went and got his own trolley jack to get my one out.
At least he showed compassion.
For the 5 mins it would have taken to jack up and fit they showed no understanding or support.
She couldn't give a toss.
Worst customer service
Terrible customer service over the phone. They would not help me because I was not sure of the tyre size. When I asked if giving my car details would help, he just said no. However I went to another tyre specialist and they ‘somehow’ knew what my tyre size is just from my car details.
Questions & Answers
I recently replaced two tyres on my 4wd and the guy at the service centre put the new ones on the front. I have subsequently been advised that they should have gone on the rear as having old ones on the back can cause aquaplaning. Researching on the internet supports my friends advice. Can you please let me know which is correct and why? Thank you
Hi Mandy,
Thanks for reaching out to us with your question. If you would like to clarify why this was performed on your 4WD, please contact the Beaurepaires store you visited for specific details.
