I got a call saying my bed frames in so I can go pick it up and my mattress will be in next week.

BUYER BEWEAR. I paid for a NEW bed at Beds R Us Warnersbay nsw and got a SECONDHAND bed with what looks like white cat hair all over it. When it arrived i asked the delivery driver if it was new because it looked soiled as i picked a couple specks off it he assured me it was new. The plastic packaging it came in also looked old torn, wrinkly which is unusual for a new bed I put a Protect A Bed cover straight on it as aggreed with owner for an over night trial as i suffer pressure points and he assured me this bed was designed for that purpose...and also cool sleeping technology. Well that was a bunch of lies, it made my shoulders and hips ake and it was the hottest bed i have ever slept in. I am allergic to cats hair and dust might my allergies played up overnight as i slept so I decided to have a closer look at the matress i stripped the bed and on close inspection i found hundreds of little white hairs all over it which look like CAT hairs To which i am highly elergic and some blond hairs as well possibly human. I took pitchers and I went back to the shop to show them, they became very hostile towards me would not look at the pitchers and where in complete denile, from behind the counter she shouted i was in her personal space and quoted Covid 19 and told me to leave there shop. I was on the other side of the counter holding out my phone to show the pitchers definitely not in her space, she just didn't want to know about it. I have now gone to Fair Traiding and will update on the outcome. I will also be getting the hair annalised and will be complaining to the health authority. I will also be going to A Current Affair to see if they can help.
Faulty product. Refused to supply a refund. Bad customer service.
The bed arrived with a missing bracket to attach the bedhead. The store was immediately contacted on the day of delivery but the manufacturer failed to contact me to fix it. After a month of no help I requested a refund for the bedhead that I could not use but I was refused. The issue is still unresolved. It’s such a shame because the bed is great. The customer service is terrible.
Faulty mattress not honouring warranty and bed took 2 months longer to arrive than quoted.
The costumer service was good gave me what I wanted however they quoted me 4 weeks too arrive bed took 3 months to arrive 8 months after purchase a hole appeared from a faulty spring in the mattress on the side which I’m told isn’t under warranty Which I thought was the point of a warranty I won’t be shopping there again.
Worst customer service ever from Jenny. Highly recommend against buying a bed here.
We were sold a floor model bed by Jenny which turned out to be faulty. Jenny refused to refund the bed as apparently buying a floor model means she can sell you a faulty bed under false pretences and you just have to accept it as is. She did acknowledge that she knew that the bed was faulty, but thought that it would be okay as we are not that heavy, would have been nice if she'd mentioned that before we bought it.

SleepyHead best for rest
Very Poor Quality mattress. Bought this on the advice from Bundall Beds r us that it was good for hot sleeper's due to the fact it had cool gel in the mattress. The mattress feels nothing like it did when l was in the store. When l tried sleeping on it it sagged and dipped and gave me no support even though l am only 64kg, it is like sleeping in a hammock. Due to the mattress sagging and my body weight condensing the poor quality foam, it means the mattress does not breath, making it unbearably hot even in late Autumn. I get a better nights sleep on the floor or my $300 mattress. I told both Beds r us Bundall this, and sleepyhead and both said too bad.
Disappointing and uncooperative
Unfortunately we experienced a very disappointing situation with Beds R Us in Taren Point. After extensive conversations regarding our custom made order, it was incorrect when we opened it at home. The owner was unprofessional and unwilling to help us in anyway saying she cannot help us and we are stuck with what we received. I will never recommend this business to anyone.

Purchased an expensive mattress from Bairnsdale store and was told that the comfort level could be adjusted free of charge if required. Slept on mattress for three months. (Swiss tech Lucerne) Extremely soft, like falling into a hole and I now have back pain. Went in to organise the change and after a phone call he said it would cost me. His mistake. I have already paid $2000 for this mattress. Poor customer service. Didn't really seem to care.

Beds R Us - Ballarat Store
My partner and I were looking for a bed base for our new home, and went into the Ballarat Beds R Us store to search, where the salesman patronised my partner with sexist comments. After purchasing a bed base here for close to $1000, we were told it will take up to 6 weeks for our order to arrive. After 2 months and no contact whatsoever, I had to make contact with the store on 4 seperate occasions myself, until I was finally told that it would take another 2 weeks for our bed base to arrive. When it was finally delivered, it came with no assemb...ly commponents and in the wrong colour. When I went instore to complain, I was met with nothing but contempt, and told the only solution was that the salesman could come and look for the missing parts himself (which I assume was an attempt just to prove me wrong), and after which I was laughed out of the store. When I returned home and attempted to assemble the bed base myself with parts found at home, I discovered that the bed base had even more parts missing off of it, and that the product was incomplete. When told about this, the only solution offered was that the salesman would fix it himself when parts were shipped down from melbourne. After the utter lack of respect or accepting of responsibility shown from this store, I can assure you I will be telling everyone possible to steer clear from this terrible store. Edit: After only 2 years with the product we purchased from the Ballarat Beds R Us store, it is now falling apart from shoddy workmanship. An absolute disgrace of a company
Delivered with missing parts and was display model
Delivered the base with missing legs and when I called to say what had happened was told that they wouldn’t be able to get legs for at least a week which I stated was unacceptable due to the $1065 paid. Then magically the store was able to get another one delivered out to me today but I would need to wait and be the last delivery. I’ve currently been waiting 8 hours and was told it will be at least another 3hrs before it arrives late tonight. They attempted to deliver me a ‘floor model’ without my knowledge and if it wasn’t for all the missing ...parts they would have easily got away with it. The staff seem really nice and appeared to be apologetic, regardless I will never shop at this place ever again, they cannot be trusted and are not reliable at all.

Purchased a mattress from the helensvale shop, terrible quality mattress that is 1.5yrs old and I’ve given it back because it’s now like sleeping in a hammock. No refund though as this is “against there policy”. Worst after sales service I have ever expirenced from the owner. Don’t expect any help once your money is handed over.

Purchased Swissteck Zurich because we asked for a firm mattress. First one delivered sank terribly, returned by agent & were told it was faulty. The second mattress was delivered, a mistake was made & we got someone else's second hand bed, the delivery guys wore this blame. Eventually our second new mattress arrived. After a few days we could see it too was sagging so the local agent was contacted again, photos & measurements we taken only to be told this sag is acceptable. . It's like sleeping in a hole, not good.
It looks like now we will have to purchase another mattress at our cost & throw this mattress away so we can get a comfortable nights sleep. This is not what was promised now twice.
Will Never Buy From Beds R Us Ever Again
Purchased a Sleepyhead latex mattress from this store and was advised by salesperson that if we were not happy we could exchange. After a week of sleepless nights due to excessive heat (in winter), went back to store. Sales staff denied telling us we could exchange and that's when it started. Ended up having to take store to Administrative Tribunal where Beds R Not Us were advised to replace their mattress. Which they finally did.
Campbelltown store had the worst customer service! the lady pushed us to purchase and once we did she refused to help with anything else we needed! Over paid for my mattress and still refused to refund my money ! Absolutely worst customer service I've had. No wonder why they are closing down!!

Seems like all these reviews on beds r us and sleepheadcare 5 star - that is until they sell you the wrong bed and refuse to help you or replace the mattress. There is a 30 day change your mind policy and they don't stick by it. I spent $5000 in this store and they refuse to help after 7 days the mattress was way to hard and pocketcsprings configuration make you feel like you're sliding backwards. Latex way too hot and sticky - in winter! Never shop in this store. willing to help until there's a problem!!!!!

Campbelltown NSW, misleading advice & bad after sales service
I needed a new mattress and base, I went shopping at the local Beds R Us Campbelltown NSW store, I sort their professional advice and recommendation - getting the right bed was very important to me due to lower back and neck pain.
Long story short, the sales lady recommended a queen size memory foam bed and told me “you will be very happy with this mattress”, I tried it out with the pillow provided on the bed, it seemed supportive at the time I was told it is a “MEDIUM” feel mattress, no other words like SOFT or PLUSH were mentioned. After ...two nights trying to sleep on it and causing me worse back pain, and feeling like I was sleeping in a hammock, it sank far too much and body heat made it worse. I went back to the store, the sales lady contacted the manager at another store and as I was standing right next to the sales lady, by her reaction, he came across like he could not care less if you have a problem with your mattress. After I requested to speak to him; he told me I needed to pay $200.00 to clean the mattress plus a $330.00 administration and he had to think about the pickup/del fee total could be $140.00 total could be high as $670.00. I initially spent over $3000.00 in this store. I rang the manufacturer to see what could be done after not much help from the store, they asked for the barcode and I was told by the customer service officer that the mattress was definitely not a “MEDIUM FEEL” mattress, it in fact was a medium/soft feel and is an inappropriate bed for back problems.

Utterly gobsmacked at the very poor handling of a completely legitimate call for a refund, for which we are STILL waiting. We purchased a mattress from the Gympie store, and were delivered a highly unsatisfactory product. We called, thinking an incorrect mattress had been delivered, only to discover that it was the one meant to be delivered. We then sent a complaint via email that it was not satisfactory at all, and did not uphold to what was advertised. This was all within a 7 day period. We were then 'handed over' to the Manufacturer, Sleepyh...ead, and have since been treated with nil respect, bypassing of Australian Consumer Law's, and further thoughtlessness. After going to the Gympie store, and purchasing in Good Faith, we are now left with a very bitter taste. Why would they not be capable of fulfilling the refund in this short amount of time? Why would they hand us over to a very unfair 'process' or what the Sleepyhead manufacturer calls 'Procedure'? We are both utterly disgusted at how we have been handed around. All in an attempt to bypass a Fully Legitimate Refund. What is wrong with you people? Willing to take money from honest people whom put their faith in your product, yet not able to 'step up' and do the right thing when there has been an issue large enough to warrant a full refund? It's a disgrace. Do NOT believe what they say about their mattresses. They are not of high standard at all.

Our bed is too short & is already dipping under body weight. Very unhappy as when I first complained, at 2mths, I was told this is still considered average length - at 203cm I disagree. I was told I’d get used to it but when I returned to the store 9mths later with the same issues, it had closed down?! It wasn’t a cheap mattress. We are very disappointed. Unsure where to go or what to do next?

What is the best type of mattress for a hot humid climate (Far North Queensland). I get hot easily so looking for the "coolest" mattress available. Anyone know?
I'm not an expert in this field and would suggest speaking with the staff at bedsRUs Bundall on the Gold Coast, they certainly helped me.

Not sure I can't answer that question as I bought a slumberzone mattress from them though perhaps you could try contacting bed manufacturer to find out what materials they use actually in the bed or you could try typing into the google Australia search engine on the internet to possibly get the answer / I found the slumberzone mattress to excellence @ absolutely outstanding
Also usually when someone pays 1000 dollars plus usually it's an alright mattress
I do not know; what I do know is that I paid far too much for the Mattress I bought and it was not at all suited to a hot climate; the fancy looking layer on top with the fancy name turns out to be nothing more than a piece of foam. The foam makes one cook at night time.
