On Jan 25 I recd an email from CashBack telling me that BWS was going to have an upsized cash back from 12:30 on Jan 25. I proceeded to log on and check the price of Crown Lager. $50.00 @ 08:30. $55.00 @ 12:30.
Complained to HQ who responded and said I am sorry you had a problem with "Dan Murphy" but we can do what we want. Moral of the story, if you belong to any organisations that offer cash back, check the retailers price before and during upsize. 1 star because i cant do nil.
Bws Roxburgh park, the best staff member I’ve ever came across, she worked on 28/1/2021 at roughly 5-45 pm
She worked out the cost of individual unit prices for me on her own phone and went above and beyond her roll to help , I will never shop anywhere else from now on
BWS strore Bowral refused to honour ticket price
I complained to their head office and not only did I get a personal apology from that staff member,Michael, but next time i was in the store I was given the product free.

Overpriced Mid Strength beer!
A carton of Pure Blonde Mid Strength 355ml Stubbies cost me $60 at the Devonport BWS today. The profit you are making on Mid Strength is disgusting. The lower tax on the low strength beer should not be used to make extreme profits! Your staff was even embarrassed and apologetic about the price.
The service is always great but your pricing is disgraceful.

On the 16th of November at about 20.40- 20.50pm we drove with my partner to BWS to get some things and my partner walked out of the car to get what we needed. He specifically walked in very happy and all he simply asked is “where do you keep the chill limes” it’s a beer. The main point is that my partner was abused verbally to the point where this staff member called my partner names, a dumb wog, that he shouldn’t be in Australia and that he isn’t Australian, that he is also a [word removed] sucker. He told my partner when he asked for a produ...ct to “go grab it yourself”. The staff member at the end said that my partner was the one with the attitude when in fact he didn’t do anything. He just got back in the car and then came to me and I could just see the hurt in his eyes from being so discriminated by the race he is. My partner is Lebanese and was bullied by your staff member in front of other customers. My partner wasn’t served by this staff member and got in the car so I drove back around and then walked from Drive thru myself to inside the store and got what we needed spoke with this staff member then the staff member told me what happened and said he didn’t want to to serve my partner as he was giving him attitude. He also told me how he was tired from an 11 hour shift and didn’t need this. It came across as he really must hate his job. It’s very upsetting that I had to go back around at 23 weeks pregnant all because this staff member feels that it’s ok to bully my partner because he isn’t of Australian appearance and that he didn’t belong in Australia. I said to this staff member just because there was a miscommunication of a product my partner asked for that he shouldn’t have treated my partner that way. I paid for the things we needed and my partner got out the car and just told this staff member that he is done meaning we will be making a complaint. The staff member used words Like “get the hell out of the store you dumb ” you’re not even Australian. Used words such as he will call the police. We told him please call them as this was not our fault. He had other customers in the store also as this was happening and was absolutely disgusting behaviour. My partner told this staff “hit me” Meaning did he want to hit my partner In order to keep him satisfied” This isn’t ok. Your staff member had no right to abuse my partner like this. I have never heard such absolute dirty language used towards a customer ever, especially discrimination of race and that he didn’t belong in this country. The whole thing was disgusting and appalling. We shouldn’t have to experience this from your staff. This staff member isnt polite in any way. The other staff member of yours is absolutely kind but this one is berry rude. He isn’t bothered and clearly hate his job. Our son had to hear this coming from your staff member. This needs to be resolved in some way. He honestly should be fired for what he did.
I have visiting this store for over 10 years and the service was always fantastic, except tonight.My husband went done to get a bottle of JW and 2 bottle of wine because he wasn't sure about the wine I wanted he video called me.The guy serving very rudely says make sure you don't have me on video!!!My husband says I don't have you on video..don't be a princess I'm just showing my wife the wine.The guy picks up the bottles and the wine and says thanks see you later.I will not serve anyone whose ruse!SERIOUSLY!!! like whats wrong with this person he should find another job if dealing with customer is not his talent.
I want to praise the staff in your Moorebank store especially the manager. I find them very helpful, friendly, honest and professional. I don't shop anywhere else as the service here is always fantastic.
I am a regular customer, however the older man working in the store refuses to put a bottle(s) of wine in a paper bag, instead I have to do his job and do it myself. This is simple customer service mate!
Exactly the same bottle of gin is $10 more expensive at BWS than Dan Murphy's - Even though they are owned by the same company - Woolworths.

Staff never ask for rewards card & never give receipts!!! Then when you say something about this to them they say i was just about to ask you for your rewards card, which is a lie! Once I walked out the door she started talking about me behind my back!!! How RUDE!!!
Very personalized service
Often when you place an order on line you do not connect with the people who ensure the order is accurate and ready for your pick up. Other BWS stores are not a patch on the service I continuously receive at the BWS at Westfield, Helensvale.
My order consisted of one item that was not in stock, hence my pick up would be delayed by 4 days. I live in Melbourne and my friend lives in Redland Bay so I could not pick it up myself and with the current Lockdown with Covid 19 I could not go to see her. Teressa offered to delivery it for me if I put my order in online. This I did and she could not have been more helpful. Could not have asked for more. THANKS

On unpacking my wine into my car a bottle broke. What a mess. I went back to the store with the red wine leaking onto the car park floor via my trolley (Cleaners, I am sorry). I asked Jason to suggest a way to clean up, he replaced my wine without me even asking. Thank you Jason for your understanding and outstanding customer service - and to BWS for the good will in replacing my wine. I certainly will recount the story to my friends.
Horrible shop person!
I went with my wife to pick an 8-cans carton of Bundaberg (7:55 PM, 28 March). I didn't have my ID so the person refused to sell the product (quite understandable). It was only 10 minutes for the shop to close so I ran back home (I live 250 meters away from Westfield Southland) and got my ID and returned to the shop before its closing time. This time my wife dint come with me to the shop. The shop keeper told me that she wants to see the other person's ID too who came with me last time!!! I mean, what the hell...!! The shop keeper was very egoi...stic and wanted to win her ego therefore she was telling me that this is a new rule or law or something!! Who on earth will think that you need to bring the ID of whosoever accompanied you last time or last week to this shop!! Utter nonsense! What a crappy experience before a good night sleep!
Staff need customer service training
Terrible customer service at BWS Westfield Doncaster. Staff need training in how to treat customers. Just because I look younger than I am, don’t make me feel inferior. I have id and am willing to show you. All you have to do is ask politely. Don’t make me feel like I’m doing something wrong when all I’m doing is making a purchase.
Tried to order
Many times when BWS has had specials on Petaluma Chardonnay, BWS Eastern Road Turramurra are always out of stock.
Yesterday 21.12.2019 I visited BWS eastern road and purchased 4 x bottles of Petaluma Chardonnay ( on special $40.00) and 2 x Scorpa Chardonnay.
I discussed with the store I would ring to order 24 x bottles of Petaluma Chardonnay before they run out of stock for Xmas.
Today 22.12.2019 I rang to order the 24 x bottles only to be told I had to shop on line.

Late last month Carlton draught was on special but when I rang the Sorell Hobart store the woman I spoke to said it was only certain stores so I rang the Dodges store and they said to come to their store and they would give me the special that the sorell bws was supposed to give, this is a bad way to run a business, the staff at dodges are just awesome so I don't mind going out of my way to go there.
Refused service and rude women spoke over me before walking off
I went into flagstone bws purchased a bottle of alcohol was served fine my father was looking in the fridges so after paying I went over to him who was standing with my 14yr old & 17 yr old daughter I spoke with my dad about buying 2 four packs of cruisers my daughters mentioned how I could get the same flavours in a 10 pack that worked out cheaper for me I ended up only grabbing the 2 four packs as it was only me drinking it and didnt feel the need to buy the extra that I wouldnt drink anyway , on going to pay they asked for my daughters I.d a...ll because they had mentioned me getting the flavours in the 10 pack I got angry with the worker who had advised she had only been employed 2 weeks I continued to say to the workers my daughter is 14 theres no way I would be buying alcohol for her when this women continued to talk over me as she walked off they were nothing but rude I ended up getting a refund on my other bottle of alcohol none of the workers knew how to do that and needed to call 2 different people and I am now still waiting on my refund to go through to my bank definitely wont be buying from them again would rather drive further and get served by people who are not rude and who dont assume that all mothers buy alcohol for their 14 yr olds in the end I got my alcohol anyway it just made a nuisance of me having to drive elsewhere
