To hard to get trolleys for beer
Mentone store went in to get box beer and 3 bottles of wine asked man behind counter you got any trolleys bit difficult to carry ha said “ no to hard to get them & keep in store “ so 2 trips to car wouldn’t bother going back all too hard
Went into bws seaford wanted to comment on how friendly the staff are as I was going to purchase a carton of beer and they gave me a shop a docket with the discount on it saving me 12.00
Bad attitude and rasict comment
Went to buy some wine for the wife and saw they had a special on if you bought 3 bottles any mix .The label was next to 3 different brands of the same wine all priced the same. Take them to the till and the young assistant rang them up and asked for more than I was expecting. I said hang on there's an offer .It would appear that in the small print of the label it was of a specific brand .I stated thats misleading and should be changed , and that I only would take 1 bottle now .This young fella walked away muttering a rasict remark and another a...ssistant took over the transaction. I stated again it was misleading when this other employee shouted he didn't want to hear it infact no wanted to hear it and leave .I asked his name he laughed and shouted . It would appear that a white male in his forties is supposed to accept rasict comments and attitude from a young Asian male. Just imagine if it had been the other way around. BWS ROLEYSTONE-WA you are the lowest of the low .I will never use again !!
Worst Customer Service
BWS, Rockdale Plaza - Sydney (7:50 PM, 15/10/2018) Bought 4 Wine on Special, the guy on the counter advised it wasn't on special. I asked him the price for each placing those ones in the counter, he advised me to go to where I got it and check there. I was the only customer at that time, so wasn't even busy. Never going to this place again, nor will recommend any friends and family. Worst behavior, attitude and customer service. It's shame on BWS Woolworths brand.
Bad service wouldnt give it 1 star
I walked into BWS and proceeded to buy a box of apple ciders to which the assistant manager asks for my id which I gave and because my partner and my two kids were standing outside the store as I didnt want my kids to touch anything, The assistant manager asks to see my partners id not buying anything & not standing inside the doors and I get refused because he doesn't look of age. Management has gone to this guys head. He needs customer service skills.
The cashier at camp hills BWS at 6:20 tonight was absolutely amazing. If I was his boss I would promote him in a heartbeat

Do not use delivery service
I placed an order for delivery around 6pm with delivery time 7pm. Nothing came and after trying to call the shop no one answered. The next morning I received an email saying my order has now been packed and is ready to be delivered. My order is still not here. Do not use this service if you need your alcohol delivered within 24 hours.
The worst chain bottle shop
BWS is abysmal. The majority of their products are sold at inflated prices and many of their so-called specials merely reflect the normal market prices. Whoever is the BWS beer buyer has missed the fact that consumers’ tastes have changed considerably over the last ten years. This is the type of shop where you walk in, look around and realise how bad it is before quickly walking out.
I asked the rude short staff member who works at the Toowong store (this afternoon) for his name 3 times to make a complaint (as this was second time he has been rude and not willing to assist) He would not give me his name nor was he wearing a name badge. I asked 3 times and he refused. This is my local i have been going to for over 5 years and all other staff are just lovely.
(All of them except this one who advised because i didn't have my rewards card he would not apply this discount unless i had memorised the 13 digit card number. I ask...
Appalling delivery service
2nd time ordering for delivery where the order was incomplete:
1st time I had to drive up, much to the amusement of the staff.
2nd time they will try to sort it out tomorrow.
manager here is awful and only wants to sell top prices
The manager at BWS Landsdale WA is awful.Not just from my experience but lots. He seems to only want to sell you top price wines telling me they don't put anything under $10 in the fridge cos the "cheap drinker" will just put it in the freezer when get home. He told some ladies in front of me buying Passsion Pop that no one ever buys that in his store as is outdated.They said they bought it for a reunion for a school mates get together. He told my son he didn't sell cigarettes anymore and to go next door to to Farmer Jacks for them.He told anot...her lady NO EFTPOS go to the teller machine, when she came back with a $100 note said I can't do that go and change it at Farmer Jacks.By the way the day before Anzac day (24th) the shop was closed for at least 20 mins and people were waiting outside.The young lady waiting as well as me with a young child said she saw him ages ago entering Farmer Jacks. Does he have shares in FJ or something? OK so staff need toilet breaks and hopefully the standard lunch break but I didn't think any shop shut down for that!Why no other staff to cover for that ? I'm sure he isn't on the loo that long.Other locals have seen him shopping there and maybe even taking home shopping as he lives local.He is just a negative person and tries to be happy but it's false and OTT. I can go into BWS Kingsley and find lots of wines under $10 in the fridge and very pleasant staff wanting to help. Your Landsdale store needs a new manager! all the rest of the staff deserve a commendation. I feel sorry for them having a manager like this Jason.Just to add I have seen him kicking a football outside the store for his own pleasure from a promotion desk outside.Not a good manager look!Move him on !
Terrible delivery system and service
Placed order and was told 8:05pm delivery. Didn’t show. I called and was advised no drivers in the area. I was told 12 midday Saturday was best time with lots of drivers. Didn’t show. I called twice and was advised very few drivers in a little place like Brisbane. 3 calls and it still isn’t here. Call staff couldn’t seem to help at all. Good work BWS. False information to secure a sale is not good enough.

Unreliable delivery service and terrible customer service
Placed my 1st online order at BWS at 10am to be delivered at their provided window at 8:30pm the same day. They contacted me at 7pm to let me know that delivery wouldn't be possible and whether it could be postponed til after 10am next morning. I needed the delivery for that night, so all they could say what that there was nothing they could do. I've requested it to be cancelled and get the refund then - my feeling was that they couldn't care less, there wasn't even an apology for that. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and unreliable delivery service. First and last order ever!!!!

Not a great selection
I found there was not a great selection of Chardonnay available. Either were 20-25 bottle or $7 bottle not much in between
You would never buy at BWS if you were able to buy @ Dan Murphy's. They are just too expensive
Misprint in bws catalogue
Surely, and I think it is the law, that if BWS has a misprint in it's catalogue and the misprint benefits the customer, that subsequent benefit should be honoured by BWS to the customer, ie 30 cans of Victoria bitter for $45.

Order a delivery 3 hours ago called the customer service, told it would be here shortly guess what no show and they have stole my $100l.
