Worst washers ever
I fix washers. Have done for about 5 years now. Beko washers are basically unfixable with their motor design. When the motors fail, and that’s about the only problem I’ve had to try to fix you’d have to buy a new one and hence not worth it. They’re all quite new that I get hold of. Current one is 3 years old. Flashing wash signal. Chuck it.
worst machine i ever had
this is the worst machine i have ever owned. tried with no luck for any help from the company except for her to argue with me that there was no problem. no help at all from the local fix it guys. their recommendation was to never own a beko and they are an agent for it.
Purchased in April 2017 for $800.00.
Illegal trade practices and shocking customer service
Loved my Beko machine - I raved about it to everyone. After 3 years, a spring in the door has broken so it won't open. I called Beko and asked for them to send someone out under statutory warranty, as this is a "major fault" (you know most washing machines require an opening to use successfully), and a $1k machine should last more than 3 years under mandatory statutory Australian warranty. I was told, and I kid you not, "the door is a moving part so it's not covered, as you use it." I explained very patiently that I did in fact purchase the was...hing machine to use it, here's the funny part, as a washing machine. I then explained that this advice was in fact illegal under trade practices law. The "customer service" person actually giggled at me and said "okay!". I was told I'd need an assessment at my own cost of $189 from a separate contractor company (who later confirmed this was non-refundable for warranty claims and did not include parts). I asked to speak to a manager, was told he was busy and would call me back, and guess what, a week later he hasn't so they must be pretty busy with other broken products and fighting legitimate claims in small claims court. I'd never purchase a Beko again.
Piece of crap
Just over two years I have had it and nothing but trouble! The leveller ends up needing replacing and water won’t drain from it. Days and days without a washing machine constantly waiting for the piece of crap to be fixed. Would never ever by beko again! Pet hair removal is a fad also as it takes forever and doesn’t remove it all! Do a short wash and chuck them in the dryer instead!
I would like to be able to say I love this machine, but I can't. It isn't all bad though as it does have some good points. Firstly, it's quiet, even when spinning, in fact the only noise you hear is the water sloshing on the door. It also has a large bowl, and by far it's best feature is the very wide door which opens 180c enabling blankets and doonas placed easily inside, and it spins so well with clothes being almost dry, but that's it. On the other hand it is so sloooow with cottons taking up to 3 hours and 17 minutes and eco cotton 2 ho...urs and 20 minutes, so in a 7 hour day you would only get 2 loads washed. I also found it doesn't wash so well with one lightly soiled item having to go back for another wash. I found half the detergent left after one load, so if only half is being used the washing won't be clean. And would you believe it does not tell you when it has finished, and even worse, if you don't attend to it immediately it turns itself off, and as I had gone out and returned expecting the load to have finished, when I found the machine turned off I thought I might be suffering dementia and forgotten to turn the rotten thing on, however after reading the book I found out about that little trick. I bought it to match my beko dryer but it doesn't even do that as the dryer is nothing like it with the word beko written differently. One hopes that with each new product it will make your life easier, but this sure hasn't. I have to fiddle to get the time manageable then the temperature and spinning speed becasue I want to get all my washing done in one day and not stretched out over a week. By far the hardest fault to deal with for me is the lack of a finished signal, I hate not having one. In 2017 I'm having to set my kitchen timer to tell me when the washing is likely to be finished. I wish you could find these things out before you buy a washing machine, but here I am stuck with it now. So if you are like me with 4 or 5 loads of washing and want it all done the same day DO NOT buy this machine becasue it's not for you!
Not worth repairing
I bought this machine about 2 years ago after reading the reviews online.. overseas this brand is popular and rated highly.. It did wash great but once my warranty passed my screen went and then when I had the serviceman come to put a new screen the new screen took out the motor.. The serviceman told us don't bother repairing it as it will cost us more. Out went the Beko and in came in another machine.. Oh don't ring the Beko customer service they are very rude and won't listen to what you have to say. Cheap product but I think they need to lift their game if they want to stay in the market in the next 10 years!
Ok so just got the old discontinued model replaced under warranty with this machine after 10 weeks, anyway from the word go the machine wanted to vibrate itself out the door, the heavier the load the worse it got and im talking about 4 medium size towels and a tea towel not game enough to load it up anymore than that as the noise it makes sounds like its going to tear itself apart. So back on the phone and no diplomacy this time as far as washing goes the short cycles do not seem to wash the soap out properly and agree with another review that i...t seems to use to little water the longer cycles seem to do the job and spins the water out of the clothes on max spin quite well even better once repaired i would imagine but as the machine wants to walk out the door on spin cycles and deafen us with the noise it makes we haven't put very many clothes through so this review may be a little premature but from experience with the last model and this model things are not looking good, I think fisher n paykle will be my choice from now on should this one not be repaired to satisfaction anyway i shall update as soon as the service repairman/woman has had a crack at it

finally had it replace with alot of arguing and fair trading but it tooks weeks. DONT BUY BEKO!!!
Not any good washing machine only lasted 8 weeks! Terrible service from Beko and All Australian White Goods. Finally had it replaced weeks later but only with alot of arguing, constantly calling them and fair trading being involved!! Dont expect any service from these companies the people on the phone from Beko were very rude and just dont give!
Wish I had NOT Bought This Machine
I was talked into buying this machine by the sales staff. I went in to buy another Bosch but the staff rubbished it and pushed me into buying the Beko. I have tried all of the different settings but not one of them rinses properly. My washing is still full of suds and I have to do an extra rinse every time. More power used, water used and time wasted. Even when the extra rinse is done there is still sudsy water coming out. I have tried different washing powders but it makes no difference. I currently use only ½ recommended and still suds galore...and the clothes not clean. This machine is crap but sadly we are stuck with it as we are pensioners and can't afford another machine. Also, it is hard on the clothes. I recently bought 2 beautiful Sheridan towels and after one wash the edges were fraying......... It is quiet which is the only feature I like.
Waste of Money!!
I got talked into this machine by the sales staff and I really regret buying it! I was told it had an impressive 1 hour wash cycle that could wash 8kg of clothes - and technically it can, if your clothes are basically already clean. If there is any trace of dirt/food on your clothes don't bother (I have 4 children so their clothes get plenty of wear in a day) - unless of course you are happy to wash at 60degrees then it does an ok job, but I find this destroys our clothes over time. Because that wash cycle doesn't get my clothes clean I have to...use a cycle that goes for 2 1/2 hours!! (and still does a pretty ordinary job of getting our clothes clean). I bought a bigger machine so I could get more washing done in less time - it now takes me longer to get through the washing than my 6kg bosch did (which was amazing!). The whites come out dull, the blacks come out looking fluffy, even if washed separately. If I accidentally wash a face washer/towel in with our clothes it looks like they were rolled on by a fluffy dog shedding its fur! It is by far the worst machine I have ever owned! The only bonus it has is that it is reasonable quiet, no louder than any other machine I've owned.
Questions & Answers
machine works well once started, however you have to push the door closed with a fair bit of pressure to getit to start ,a lot more than previously.
