Good Morning,

Thank you for your email, congratulations on welcoming your beautiful little girl into your family.

Bellamy's Organic Toddler Milk Drink is not suitable for a little one under 12 months, as it is a cows milk supplement and not a formula.

We offer a formula, Step 1 which is suitable for 0-12 months of age, which provides them all their necessary dietary requirements for the first 12 months of life.

If you have any questions regarding this, please feel very welcome to contact myself at any time if I can provide any further information.

Congratulations again,
Nardia

Dear Joanne,

Bellamy’s Organic do not manufacture an infant formula specifically for anti-reflux. However, in some circumstances under the strict guidance of a health professional or doctor, our Baby Rice is added to our formula to thicken it up to help elevate the symptoms of reflux in babies. You may wish to seek further advice from your health professional about this.

Reflux in infants can sometimes be due to a poorly coordinated gastrointestinal tract and may still occur regardless of what non-specific infant formula you use. Generally treatment consists of various thing including:

• Elevating the head of the baby's crib or bassinet
• Holding the baby upright for 30 minutes after feeding
• Thicken bottle feedings with cereal (do not do this without a doctor's supervision)
• Change feeding schedules (discuss with the child's doctor first)
• Try solid food (discuss with the child's doctor first)

We have 2 formulas – Infant Formula from Birth to 12 months and Follow-On Formula from 6 month to 12 months. Both our Infant Formula and Follow-On Formula are nutritionally balanced organic milk formulas; made up from certified organic cow’s milk and essential vitamins and minerals. All infant formulas in Australia have to comply with a strict recipe as dictated by the Australian and New Zealand Food Standards and must meet all the complete nutritional needs of babies for the first 12 or so months of their lives at least. Our formulas meet these standards and we pride ourselves in the quality of the products we create.

Please always feel more than welcome to contact me at any time if I can assist any further, in the meantime, you are an amazing mother doing an incredible job!

Take care & kindest regards,
Nardia

Step 3 Toddler Milk Drink

Would you recommend this for child who has constipation problem?

Dear Glo,

Thank you very much for taking the time to contact Bellamy's.

Any changes in diet can cause changes in stool movements; frequency, consistency and colour. In Australia it is a requirement that all formulas are fortified with mineral iron for healthy growth and development of babies. The added iron can cause some stools to be green in colour and may cause some transient constipation, particularly when compared against stools from breastfed babies.

Babies go through amazing transitions in digestive function as they grow. Their tummy’s can be affected by all sorts of things including sickness, teething, and different and new foods or drinks being introduced. All in all however, you know your little one best so if you are worried, you should seek advice from your medical practitioner.

Please always feel more than welcome to contact me at any time, always happy and willing to assist in any way. In the meantime, congratulations on your beautiful little addition into your family - welcome into our Bellamy's family!

Kindest regards,
Nardia

I've been told it's NOT a formula drink, being a 12m+ toddler is on solid food, it is more of an additional support of dairy/vitamins and minerals. My daughter still enjoys a bottle, so having a milk drink available to her (without the additional calories etc in a formula) is useful. I do not know if it is a milk powder only.
Hope this helps :-)

Great! Thanks a lot for your time Jenstar. As long as it's not formular milk, it's perfect for toddler because all paediatrician i visited told me that at the age 12m+ Toddlers shouln't drink formula milk any more but change to full cream milk. So i'm glad this Bellamy's is organic full cream milk powder with additional support of vitamins.

Hello!

Thank you very much for taking the time to seek an answer regarding our Step 3 Toddler Milk.

Our Step 3 Toddler Milk is a supplementary milk drink that contains additional vitamins and minerals and should form part of a varied solid diet that includes; vegetables, fruits, whole grains, meats and dairy products.

Whether you choose to give your toddler our Toddler Milk can depend on what their existing diet consists of. If your toddler’s diet consists of lots of foods including dairy products such as milk, cheese and yoghurt then you may not need to use our Toddler Milk. If your toddler is not eating a variety of foods and is a little fussy then our Toddler Milk is a great product to add to their diet and provides lots of vitamins and minerals.

Kindest regards,
Nardia
