Really good for the price
The BenQ GL2780 is a really good monitor which provides me with all the basic needs, The monitor is really eye care friendly supports up to 75hz refresh rate display and 1ms response time. However i got this monitor mostly for working and content viewing and it was my biggest mistake falling into the 1ms response time as the image quality isn't too bad but because it is a tn panel the colors doesn't look as vivid and as good as my laptop's ips display but it does have 8bit colour display, The only downside of this product to be honest is its ma...ssive borders which makes it look like its from 2006 and it is a bit wobbly and the poor viewing angle. This monitor overall is built very good and for the price you can't complain but in my opinion try find another monitor with an ips panel, just don't care about the repose time, i guess 4-6ms is good cause i don't find any difference with using my other 4ms monitor to be honest. If you are looking for competitive gaming i suggest you buying one with a higher refresh rate one about 120hz not specifically this one event though you can game decent on this. but overall its very good. My opinion is that don't expect too much from this monitor if you are looking for a good quality monitor for $250 (got mine for $200 in offer) then this is the way to go it is really reliable and very good never lets me down as multitasking is wonderful on the 27 inch one for my work. I did play around in the settings one thing you shouldn't do or set is going to picture and putting AMA to high or premium just turn it off, if you turn it on it makes the moving objects on the screen to have a smearing effect which doesn't look great. Also play around in the settings till you like and feel comfortable for your eyes i am using the lowest brightness for my monitor as it is too bright in my opinion and i feel comfortable with it .
Purchased in January 2020 at centrecom.com.au for $200.00.
Worst monitor I have ever owned
Hue of white over characters when I scroll up or down
Characters are blurry and not sharp, even when setting to sharpest option. I feel like my eyes constantly need to focus my other laptop screen to tell my self that my eyes are seeing correctly. Really not any good for working at home. Perhaps OK for gaming, but that not why I purchased it.
