Great Quality & Excellent Endurance

published

I bough this in 2017 May. Now I am planning to upgrade to a 4K projector. So, It has served me well for few years.

Within first few months, the project suffered from severe Posterization issue. I dropped the projector off at their office and picked it up after few days. No issues after that. Still runs smoothly for next 3 and a half years. My room is reasonably dark. And I have a cheap projector screen. Still It presents extremely quality picture. 3D on it is mind blowing.

I highly recommend this product and the company.

Awesome projector.

Get a 100” screen from about 3m away. Project straight onto wall and get sharp rich picture. The downside is daytime it’s pretty useless. Fast motion can be a bit jittery but for movies, gaming and sport it has been awesome. Picked up a spare lamp but so far (6 months) its going great.

Features:

  • Digital light processing (DLP) projector, with a colour wheel providing a 1080p full-HD image quality.
  • Suitable for compact spaces, such as a bedroom or apartment living room. The BenQ W1090 requires 2.5 metres space away from the wall or surface that it’s projecting on.
  • Comes with an MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) cable that you can connect to a smartphone or tablet. Once you’ve established a connection, you can use the device to broadcast content via the projector.
  • Eco-mode automatically adjusts lamp brightness based on content to project richer blacks and increase contrast for tiny text and subtle details.
  • This projector is perfect for sports fanatics, as the projector boasts two sports modes. Sports Picture Mode is geared towards well-lit environments, such as sports fields and arenas (which usually have harsh lighting). Sports Sound Mode clarifies and emphasises announcements made by the commentator - because sometimes announcements can be drowned out by a cheering crowd.
