Poor productThe first one purchased didn’t work new out of the box. The second lasted 4 months without that much use.
GarbageFilled the house up with a burning smell from the control pod.
Opened control pod and found resistors on the circuit board had failed. Avoid this brand. Show details
Perfect when they workI have had 3 replaced but trying another brand now . It appears to be the control device that stops working … poor quality . Show details
Love them… when they work! This is my second one of these. They are excellent…. For about 3 months. My second has stopped working now. It’s the cord that seems to be the issue. Will try a different brand next time and see if I have more luck. Not a fan of throw away products that can’t be fixed. Bad for the environment, bad for my wallet. Show details
Can’t get through winter without it!Our family of four has one of these each, plus we bought heat pads for elderly friends and relatives too. We use ours to warm up the bed before sleeping and they are brilliant for aches and pains. One of the best features is the 90 minute cut off.
Ours have lasted about 4 years now with heavy use and no issues. Show details
Soft, flexible and heats up very quicklyThis might be a tad small for some, but it’s good for me as I am pint sized. I use it mainly at night for the aching bit between my should blades and the soothing heat helps me to fall asleep.
I particularly like the auto cut off at 90 minutes to ensure I don’t fry myself. There are 3 heat settings and I find that 1 gives a steady very low warmth, and 2 is like a freshly filled hot water bottle and is enough for me. Heat 3 is too hot but may be good for short bursts in winter. The sturdy illuminated control with large numbers is also great for... Read moreold eyes. The electrical cord unplugs and the manual says the pad is washable, but I haven’t tried washing it yet. Overall, it feels very sturdy and comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of 3 years - 3 times that of competitive products. If you’re wondering, this unit is made in Hungary. Happy with this.
Poor customer serviceI would’ve given the beurer heat pads a 5 star rating except as they are very good when they work however I’ve had 2 that stopped working luckily I had a another one and I tried the cord of the one that was working on the 2 that weren’t working and they both worked so it’s the cord that’s the problem not the heat pads themselves. I rang the company and I felt not only didn’t they listen to me because they kept saying don’t fold the heat pads that’s why they won’t work anymore. I tried to explain that I did my own trouble shooting and it was the... Read more cords not the pads but they didn’t listen to me at all I’m very careful with the heat pads but the cord does have to bend to some degree whether you use it on your neck back etc. The one star was not only for the heat pads but the lack care in a customer’s feedback very dissatisfied with their customer service
Did not last long, no warranty supportI've had several of these, the pads and the cushions, and they usually fail within the warranty period and FitZone, the Beurer agent in Australia, will not stand behind the warranty, and instead will send you back to the retailer. Of course the retailer will direct you back to FitZone, so you are stuck and will end up just throwing it away. Don't buy anything made by Beurer. It's junk. You will smell a faint burning smell at some stage as the switch / control unit fails. That smell will signal the end of your "investment". More landfill.
To ma... Read moreke it worse, I detached the heating part from the broken unit and attached another cord from a working unit, and it instantly burned that one out too. So never do that. Once these things go, they are pure landfill and cannot be repaired, and parts from one will destroy parts of another. These are just pure junk, planned obsolescence. The level of support and service offered by the Beurer agent is pathetic.
