Very happy customer
Purchased a diamond ring online - ordering was easy and postage was fast. Unfortunately, the ring had a defect. Contacted customer service by email with some photos and within three days they arranged for me to exchange the ring for a new one at a local store. The Manager at the Parramatta store was very helpful and in the end I exchanged for an alternative style that I am delighted with. Very positive experience.

Can do better
Overall experience was great apart from when went to pick up the ring been told twice that why can’t find where it’s kept. Even though the sales girl told it’s ready to go.
Sales girl - Dulini was amazing, very friendly, professional and easy to deal with. The others I dealt with were like I don’t care.

Fantastic Service!
I had an issue with an in store purchase, however when i emailed customer service the girls were happy to help and got my issue resolved within a few days! Will be using Bevilles again! :D

Knox City - Worst customer service
Appalling customer service and experience at the Knox store. I needed to return a ring that was initially purchased and paid in full for at another store. They didn’t have it in stock therefore I had to wait for them to have it sent from another store... during that time the stores had closed due to COVID so the ring was sent to the head office who then delivered to me almost 2 months later. an email to the Knox store to inform them that I was going in to get a refund as long as the ring was in good condition! I went to the Knox store to return this ring which was UNTOUCHED.... that’s when everything went downhill. The first attendant I saw and spoke to was nice to begin with, I was telling her why I was in the store, to return the ring and half way through my conversation with her she started waiving at people behind me and completely ignored me. I stopped talking, shocked at how rude she was. She then told me I had to speak to the manager. I eventually spoke to [Name Removed], the manager, explained the situation and informed her that HO had sent her an email. Her initial response was appalling, she smirked and said that she can’t take the ring because the refund would come out of her days sales! She then told me I had to send it to head office in order for them to deposit the refund in to my bank account! I explained to her that I spoke to HO and they approved it as long as the ring was in good condition. After a while [Name Removed] then said that she would need to assess the ring, she took the ring out the back, came back to the front of the store and told me there was a scratch on it!!!! I was absolutely furious! [Name Removed] then said she would need to send it to HO for them to assess the ‘scratch’. I couldn’t believe it to be honest, I knew exactly what her intentions were. The ring was sent back to HO, there was NO scratch on it and I eventually got my refund deposited in to my bank account. [Name Removed] intentions was to not process the refund from the beginning and lied about the scratch so that the refund wouldn’t come out of her daily sales... Excellent Service (Bevilles Parramatta - Florita)
Last November 7, 2020 we went to Beville’s Parammatta branch for windows shopping, only to check some good items on sale, during our visit we met a Saleslady named Florita which showed a very good sales attitude and did an amazing job showing us all items on Sale. I asked a lot of questions and she respectfully and professionally answer this in a very nice way, I end up buying a set of jewelleries with convincing power from Florita and of course a good deal and very good product from Bevilles, I would recommend to visit Bevilles branch of Parramatta and look for Florita which is very friendly and good employee of Bevilles.

Both Rings Wrong Size!!
My partner purchased 2 rings for me. Due to COVID we been shopping online, he paid for express post as well for it to arrive on my birthday. However, We ordered both in size Q but we got a S/P. Had to get it checked at the store and the girls couldn’t believe what they did. On the order form it said size Q for both when they weren’t. Couldn’t find the same ring at the store which I really wanted for my birthday :( , had to pick something else sadly. I won’t be shopping online with Bevilles. We don’t like running around for returns, it shouldn’t be our problem. The stores aren’t close to us.

Just happen to pop into Blacktown Bevilles, picked a few earrings at a great price. Service was great (thanks Eileen). Don't usually buy jewelry but happy to go bad there for another bargain

Cheap, disposable, garbage for jewelry
Ordered my daughter a padlock bracelet with pink stone. She wore it 2 times and it broke...not the safety chain but the actual bracelet links...they replaced it but the same thing happened again after 3 hours of wear... note here that my daughter was only 9 months old when this happened the first time and about 15 months the second time...we were reluctant to let her wear it.

Worst customer service and breach of privacy ever experienced!
Absolutely disgusting customer service, breach of contract and confidentiality. [Name Removed] from head office, ( who refused to identify herself and position within the company, yet claimed the buck stops at her) minimised the issue and stated in a recorded call, that there was no misconduct whatsoever, but then admitted that it warranted an investigation after I made it very clear that every other bevilles employee I had spoken had contradicted her stance and in fact apologised as they understood the wrong actions carried out at the Franksto...Read more

[Name Removed] also defended her subordinates decision to label me a sexist, after I had stated a simple fact regarding the dominance of women within certain sectors of society during my initial phone conversation with a head office junior. Apparently men are not allowed to state inconvenient facts without being labelled a sexist in 2020. As a result of Bevilles mismanagement and appalling privacy policy, my 10 year old son was robbed of his Christmas gift which has left him absolutely shattered . As for me personally I will never shop at bevilles again as they cannot be trusted with basic finance contracts. And when trying to make sense of it all "[Name Removed]" the customer service officer's patronizing and dismissive attitude towards the whole incident was the icing on the cake and the only reason I am making my very first product review. Thank you [Name Removed] for giving me an insight into the toxic company culture at head office and for demonstrating a complete disregard to the inflammatory accusations made by the simple minded employee that work under your command. After reading the horror stories that your ex employees have posted online about the way this business operates, it becomes clearer to see how negligence by Bevilles staff is just a symptom of the narcissistic attitude displayed by [Name Removed] who finds pleasure in belittling her customers and gaslighting them with a condescending 'bad luck' approach to a very serious breach in privacy. It grieves me to say that when I disputed a price of an item which Bevilles say has a 40% discount they said that it was a genuine price reduction from $590 or so amount to under $400. I had been tracing this item for a number of years now and no where had the price been as high as $590 or so and here in their latest catalogue and in store they advertise it with a 40% discount. something and this item before that had been advertised as $199 or just under $200 one year back, and I believe a 50% discount was given which means that this piece of jewellery has been marked up to $590 something from it's original price of $400 and something or under $500 and then given a 40% discount. Now I see it at $299 a 50% discount in store only Accounting for inflation for rents, wages etc this item must've increased by $100 no longer than 3 years ago at least. I have purchased items from them previously and was very happy with the items but when I confronted them by e-mail they said that this item has always been $590 or so amount to which I mentioned the above and said that I would shop elsewhere.4 comments

Rip off scam
Please don't buy the initials necklace with the love heart in the middle. It's nothing like the one you see in the photos. It's so tiny you can't even see it. The smallest pin is bigger than the wordings. I don't know how they justify charging 230 dollars for it. Customer service don't want to know anything about it. To make it worse the chain had a knot in it when I received it. If you want to waste your money buy bevilles online. I tried to write a review under the product at bevilles website twice but they somehow stop the reviews from appearing on their website. I don't know how they get away with this.

Don't Buy from Bevilles - Just a Scam
Hi everyone,
I have purchased a diamond wedding ring for $3995 and after just two month i had a financial difficulties and i decided to sell the ring , when i went back to the same store and the same person who sold me the ring she said we can take it from you only for $150 , i was really in a shock , until i decided to check other jewellery stores and they have said that we don't buy any jewellery from Bevilles because their product all fake and worth nothing ZERO $ .
Don't buy from BEVILLES
Because their jewellery has no value at all........

Wrong item sent
Ordered 2 rings and a necklace online. Necklace description said 65cm sent one that was 43cm. I phoned and the H.O person said that I would need to send it back then they would assess it, then they would contacted the warehouse to see if they have one in stock with the correct length and then send it. That’s excessive time wasting and outrageous customer service

Absolute disgrace
Ordered mine and my fiances wedding bands and were told they would provide free rhodium plating on my engagements ring. Receiced 3 phone calls about coming to pick up our rings and each time i asked about the rhodium plating and was advised yes its included. Come time to pick up my ring was told i had to pay for it and they weren't going to do it for free as promised. The staff argued with us and insinuating we were lying. If our rings weren't made to order we would have been getting a full refund. Such a stressful and upsetting situation so close to our wedding. Will definitely never be buying anything from this store again!

The manager at Fountain Gate Branch is very unprofessional. Not satisfied at all!! I received a call from the head office to begin with ,saying I had run out of my layby time frame. A month before receiving this call, I went into the fountain gate branch made a payment and asked for extension till August. ff, I explained that I had made arrangement prior. I even said the branch manager is aware and got told that head office will contact the manager and ask her to give me a call as no further extension was granted. Being at work, frustrated as no cell phones are allowed, I had to take some time from our manager to sort this out. I was literally on the phone with the head office staff for around 7 minutes explaining as she didn’t believe me saying that. That was the 1st call. Now calls the store manager 2nd call saying the same thing, that I have to pay the overdue asap as the layby time frame is expired. Then they call me again, saying they didnt find any extensions on the system .By now I was furious as I kept saying check the system, but both these women didn’t liaise with me at all. That same week on Saturday, I rocked up to fountain gate store. Lucky enough found the same sales person who extended my time. Before making the payment, I asked her how much time do I have to clear the layby. She said you have till the end of SEPTEMBER, she didn’t know I was fuming inside for her reply. I asked her if I could take a screenshot of her screen and was successful. The screenshot is at the bottom,please have a look. I then told the sales person there, what I had been through.People from the head office, wasting their and my time and spoilt both our moods, what was the end result,I was right. It doesn't matter whether you work in the head office or be a branch manager, gather your facts, go through them again before calling customers making it an issue over the phone.I got the layby out that Saturday putting my other bills on hold. The other thing I found weird was..the ring that I bought is 1.6 carats but I never got a certification or anything that says that this is so valuable. Couple of years back, I bought a ring from Angus & Coot which had 1 carat of diamonds and was issued with a certificate.The layby receipts fade so quickly, something for Brevilles to think about instead of unnecessary phone calls.
