Poor quality jewellery, poor repair service, terrible customer service
I purchased a 9 carat gold diamond and ruby ring as a 21st birthday gift for $400, together with a care plan for $59 to pay for resizing and any future repairs. Separately, I paid for the ring to be engraved with a 21st message.
Within one day of wearing the ring, a diamond had fallen out. I took it to Bevilles Melbourne CBD where it was repaired for free under the care plan. I asked the staff members to ensure it would be repaired properly and to check the rest of the settings and I was assured it would be.
Six months later, the same d...iamond fell out again. I took it back to Bevilles and calmly explained how disappointed I was to have paid $400 for such a poor quality piece of jewellery, plus the poor quality of workmanship with the repairs. Your staff member immediately said it must have been the fault of the person wearing the ring, instead of taking responsibility for selling poor quality jewellery in the first place. The store manager arranged to have the ring sent to head office and said if it was deemed to be faulty, they would replace it. I appreciate that Bevilles took this step and ended up replacing the ring with a brand new one. This was done quickly (took just over a week) and that they contacted me straight away that it was ready for collection. Upon collecting the new ring, I spoke to the store manager again and expressed that I was disappointed with the poor quality of the first ring and that I would now be required to pay for further engraving and be out of pocket. The store manager shrugged and said to take it up with head office. I asked for compensation for the poor quality ring or to be reimbursed for the cost of engraving and the postage required in having the ring repaired and I was told this was not possible. I said I would not be shopping at Bevilles again and would not recommend anyone else to do so and the store manager said she understood. I am pretty shocked that a store manager has so little regard for customer satisfaction or ensuring repeat business.
It grieves me to say that when I disputed a price of an item which Bevilles say has a 40% discount they said that it was a genuine price reduction from $590 or so amount to under $400. I had been tracing this item for a number of years now and no where had the price been as high as $590 or so and here in their latest catalogue and in store they advertise it with a 40% discount. I recall a year ago speaking with one of their sales staff and he did not mention that this particular item was on sale and at that time it was approx. under $400 $390...something and this item before that had been advertised as $199 or just under $200 one year back, and I believe a 50% discount was given which means that this piece of jewellery has been marked up to $590 something from it's original price of $400 and something or under $500 and then given a 40% discount. Now I see it at $299 a 50% discount in store only Accounting for inflation for rents, wages etc this item must've increased by $100 no longer than 3 years ago at least. I have purchased items from them previously and was very happy with the items but when I confronted them by e-mail they said that this item has always been $590 or so amount to which I mentioned the above and said that I would shop elsewhere.

Rubbish customer service & Rubbish jewellery
It feels & It's Very light like fake jewellery Have a look At the different shade of gold Very disappointed When I put it on layby
I can't remember what the lady said if she was going to get it from another store or from head office. The matching bracket to necklace but she didn't I guess
When it come to taking it out from layby they wouldn't refund me All the money
So now I'm stuck with it I went in many times to complain but they always had an excuse & taking them to fair trading who will like to join me?? Lol
Impeccable service, ordered on a Sunday and had it express posted to me by the Tuesday, (Xmas)
My purchase is exactly what I was after,
In stock ,checkout was just as easy as the purchase itself
Absolute Rubbish Store and Customer Service
Do not buy the initials necklace with the love heart in the middle. I could not believe my mum got scammed to buying this crap product online for my girlfriend for Christmas. It looks nothing like the one you see in the photos.
It's so tiny you can't even see it and it looks like its made of tin. I don't know how they justify charging over $200 for it. Customer service at Bevilles have given my mum a very hard time and they don't want to know anything about it. Please do not buy from them.
I am going to take this matter further with the omb...udsmen and possibly "A Current Affair" to highlight how bad Bevilles are and they do not care about their quality and customer service. All they are about is ripping people off. Shame on you and you will hear about this soon!

Not really a jewelry store more like a junk jewellery store Overpriced no real gold it's all gold infused.
I purchased a 9 carat necklace from these people for $250 I found the same necklace $100 cheaper at Prouds. Whenever they have sales on you go to the store and they have nothing in stock. Their diamond jewellery is a joke. I bought a piece and the diamond fell out within a month, they tried to get out of fixing it. The staff are generally rude and untrained. The products are overpriced fake gold; they insisted infused is just the same but it's not - it's only silver and can only be sold as silver. The good stuff you find online doesn't exist wh...en you go in store. They sell their products on Catch of the Day and other clearance sites, showing just how cheap it is!. They charge the same price for silver gold filled as other places do for real 9ct gold! Go elsewhere it's cheaper and you'll actually get 9 carat gold: not much to ask from a jewelry store!
Rip off scam
Please don't buy the initials necklace with the love heart in the middle. It's nothing like the one you see in the photos. It's so tiny you can't even see it. The smallest pin is bigger than the wordings. I don't know how they justify charging 230 dollars for it. Customer service don't want to know anything about it. To make it worse the chain had a knot in it when I received it. If you want to waste your money buy bevilles online. I tried to write a review under the product at bevilles website twice but they somehow stop the reviews from appearing on their website. I don't know how they get away with this.

Ordered earrings and they only sent one... no resolution made... do not buy from them!!!
I purchased earrings online and was rushed to hospital the day they were delivered. I live alone, no one had signed for them, when returning from hospital the parcel had been left at my gate with only one earring. bevilles has refused to rectify this
Wrong item sent
Ordered 2 rings and a necklace online. Necklace description said 65cm sent one that was 43cm. I phoned and the H.O person said that I would need to send it back then they would assess it, then they would contacted the warehouse to see if they have one in stock with the correct length and then send it. That’s excessive time wasting and outrageous customer service
Ordered mine and my fiances wedding bands and were told they would provide free rhodium plating on my engagements ring. Receiced 3 phone calls about coming to pick up our rings and each time i asked about the rhodium plating and was advised yes its included. Come time to pick up my ring was told i had to pay for it and they weren't going to do it for free as promised. The staff argued with us and insinuating we were lying. If our rings weren't made to order we would have been getting a full refund. Such a stressful and upsetting situation so close to our wedding. Will definitely never be buying anything from this store again!
Unprofessional and Silly
Bevilles Silly and Unprofessional Staff*
The manager at Fountain Gate Branch is very unprofessional. Not satisfied at all!! I received a call from the head office to begin with ,saying I had run out of my layby time frame. A month before receiving this call, I went into the fountain gate branch made a payment and asked for extension till August. The beautiful sales person advised she could extend it till the end of September. Having that in mind, I knew I could easily pay it off in August the latest. When received the call from head office sta...ff, I explained that I had made arrangement prior. I even said the branch manager is aware and got told that head office will contact the manager and ask her to give me a call as no further extension was granted. Being at work, frustrated as no cell phones are allowed, I had to take some time from our manager to sort this out. I was literally on the phone with the head office staff for around 7 minutes explaining as she didn’t believe me saying that. That was the 1st call. Now calls the store manager 2nd call saying the same thing, that I have to pay the overdue asap as the layby time frame is expired. Then they call me again, saying they didnt find any extensions on the system .By now I was furious as I kept saying check the system, but both these women didn’t liaise with me at all. That same week on Saturday, I rocked up to fountain gate store. Lucky enough found the same sales person who extended my time. Before making the payment, I asked her how much time do I have to clear the layby. She said you have till the end of SEPTEMBER, she didn’t know I was fuming inside for her reply. I asked her if I could take a screenshot of her screen and was successful. The screenshot is at the bottom, please have a look. I then told the sales person there, what I had been through.People from the head office, wasting their and my time and spoilt both our moods, what was the end result,I was right. It doesn't matter whether you work in the head office or be a branch manager, gather your facts, go through them again before calling customers making it an issue over the phone.I got the layby out that Saturday putting my other bills on hold. The other thing I found weird was..the ring that I bought is 1.6 carats but I never got a certification or anything that says that this is so valuable. Couple of years back, I bought a ring from Angus & Coot which had 1 carat of diamonds and was issued with a certificate. The layby receipts fade so quickly, something for Brevilles to think about instead of unnecessary phone calls. In my situation its not just a saying but I as a customer was right. Regards Sherine
The lady was rude from the start. Short and to the point, I really needed some gentle advice, but she was only interested in selling and getting me out of the shop.
She told me there were lots of cameras and made me feel like she thought I was going to steal. I confronted her after 10mi s of the negativity and she rolled her eyes and told me she was busy. I asked for her manager, she pointed me to another worker. She then was upset that she gave me a necklace with a knot in it, she begrudgingly swapped it for the wrong one. When I asked her, she said it’s all she had available. There much more that happened, I just can’t describe how incredibly put down I felt.
If u want to waste ur money this is the jewellery place to buy, it's appalling cheap make with costly price, bout 2 rings within a day stones fell out, SHOP ELSEWHERE, don't waste ur money!!?
Sent email with pics and got a reply from customer service requesting to return it by post apparently my emails & pics wasn't enough...anyway they can get out of taking responsibility
A diamond gold ring was advertised in store for $499. I requested to purchased the ring, to then be told that it was in fact $799. Misleading and Deceptive Advertising!
