worst courier service i have ever worked with
we are selling beauty products for 5 years and been using so many courier in Sydney like: transdirect, sendle, TNT, DHL.... but we never seen anyone bad like bigPost. Salesman name Jessica called me to ask me to join Bigpost service with good price for pallet. We tried to book first time, the driver never came . I called customer service , they never solve problem and i cant talk to Jess anymore. never never use this company

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Unprofessional company, after delivery extra charges are invoiced with no communication. Charges are discretionary by the couriers. Dimensions and weights supplied at the time of booking, after delivery then receive a bill for additional heavy weight charges. Spoke to accounts, confirm did not need to pay the additional invoice. Then receive a final demand notice with threats of lodging with a credit agency. Spoke to accounts again, told me to take it up with my customer and I was the one that booked the freight incorrectly as it was a residential address, even though the customer confirmed its a business address.

Not worth paying for the 'service', can't sign on delivery
We employ Big Post as it was sold to us - to deal with couriers so we don't have to call seperate companies and chase parcels when our customers ring saying they haven't turned up on multiple occasions.
They don't seem to hold any more weight with couriers than we would just dealing with them ordinarily, we will handle our own freight from now on.
There is also no option to not 'leave safe' no matter the size of the parcel, so when couriers claim they have delivered and they clearly haven't, we can't prove they've just stolen the parcel as th...

Complete Disappointment
Signed up to Big Post as a business owner looking for a service that would take the hassle out of us having to deal with multiple freight companies. They promised account managers who would look after that for us. Great, or so we thought!
Sounds good in theory until something goes wrong. They lost a valuable shipment, we had to follow them up daily for updates - no communication. Worst ever
I will not recommend this company. Not professional at all. Claiming not pickup from private address, and want to cancel my job, while courier company turn up and collected the job 5 minutes after they called me. Yet, they use TNT. Claiming TNT doesn't not pick up from private address. I use Transdirect, and they are able to organize the pick up with TNT, how funny is that. Don't use Big Post!!!

You can't trust the Quoting System or that they will actually complete the jobs
I started using the system to quote on some of my projects as I thought the online experience seemed good. So I used this for a few jobs for quoting but lucky that only 3 had actually gone through on my end so losses were minimised.
First Job;
- Quoted $770+gst for delivery of 7mx2.2mx.3m 1300kg to Paget depot from us in Carole Park.
- Job was booked in, and I on-charged that to customer which is our usual system.
- Driver shows up for pickup, Big post says they can't do 7m when Job was already booked. They said it would be an extra $3500!!....

Still hasn’t arrived - now 9 April. Called BigPost twice told the first time that it was in depot in Sydney, that it was 3100 parcel so needs a special vehicle and may need vehicle with crane!! Really? BigPost doesn’t have on hand a suitable vehicle for a parcel of timber boards 3100mm long?? Window of opportunity to have job done by current contractor closing fast.

Big post don’t have depots, they use third party carrier services like, StarTrack, TNT etc.
