BE AWARE!! I Purchased a Miele vacuum from Bing Lee Thornton to then come home to unpack vacuum to find two well alive German cockroaches in box.! I was so disgusted I immediately contacted the store and via email to have them say there is nothing they can do and that there store is fumigated. Well clearly not!! I now am out of pocket to get my brand new house sprayed. Will never be buying from this store again!!
DON'T SHOP AT BING LEE RHODES
I returned a Sunbeam Master to the store because the bowl turntable was not working. The woman in charge was very rude. She told me she would not replace the whole machine but only the turntable despite having brought a replacement into the store for me. She proceeded to unpack 2 new mixers and BOTH turntables didn't work either. Finally, she tried to tell me that the turntable wasn't supposed to go around after all! I assured her my mixer turntable had gone around for the past 3 months. After much effort in trying to get the new mixers to ...work (which they didn't) I was grudgingly offered a return or buy a different mixer. Obviously, Sunbeam have serious issues with their product quality. I will not be shopping at this store again due to the rudeness of the staff.

Last Tuesday (March 31) I visited your website to price the Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom 3 for find it priced at $147.00
As we had to drive within the vicinity of Thornton on Wednesday I decided to drop in and purchase this item as I also had a $53.00 bonus voucher.
When paying for the item, I was charged $116.00, I expected to pay $94.00 and when I questioned this I was told it had increased in price overnight, very surprised, I then asked if I could have the price advertised the day before to be told that the price is locked on the computer.... I then asked about matching competitors prices at which time the sales assistant asked which stores I had seen this item upon which I mentioned Harvey Norman and JB Hifi, she supposedly check both stores websites and told me that they both had a price of $199.00 as their advertised price and therefor there was no price match. I know this is a small amount but I really struggle with being misled or lied to! For so long, I have espoused how good Bing Lee is, now this has been aggrieved.

Have always had great service from the Armidale store! They tend to have a great range of products; my only qualm is their online store has a tendency to show items as being in stock at the store when in fact they are out of stock. - Otherwise no complaints!
Poor sales advice
Bought amp from Hornsby store and told might be a week for them to get in stock. After a week I went to the store and told it still wasn't in but they would get one from another store and I could pick it up in 4 to 5 days. A week later was told the instruction to get from another store wasn't sent. Asked for a refund as I could get the amp elswhere at a cheaper price and that day. I did get the refund but only after some time. What happened to the store as it never was like this in the past? They have lost me as a customer.

Bought a portable air con from the casula store, my brother in law has a unit from good guys with the same specs that is able to cool down a lounge room with ease. Our purchase made the lounge room hotter than the temperature outside and unless you sat directly in front, it was still hot. Called for a refund and because it wasn’t deemed “faulty”, I was told I would have to sacrifice 20% of cost for a refund because it was “change of mind”. Product did not perform as it should but apparently that’s my own fault. Customer service was disgraceful, will never purchase from these crooks again! Make sure you read returns policy!
Horrible customer service
Went there to buy washing machine and found out very poor customer service. One staff was shockingly very rude and unprofessional. I would not recomend anyone to the hurstville store .

Disgusting service. These guys sell refurbished TV and market as new.
Disgusting service. We purchased a LG TV from Bing Lee Alexandria, on first use we noticed the audo/video does not sync. These guys sell refurbished tv's and market it as new. Bing lee refused to refund the TV or acknowledge the problem and insisted that we needed to get it repaired (even though we only had it for less then 10 hours). We were basically told that its our problem now, that there is nothing Bing Lee can do and to settle for what was provided to us. In addition they provided us with some instructions on how to try sync the audio/v...ideo for every movie on stan/Netflix and tried to sell to us that it is 'normal'. The store manager was extremely rude and refused to help us and what is worst is their head office department who manage complaints have absolutely no common sense whatsoever. We are currently in the process of disputing this with the department of fair trading. Save yourself your time and energy and purchase a TV from another supplier who know how to deal with customers with some common sense.
I would seriously avoid purchasing from this company. It's fine if you know what you are buying i,e have owned it before or seen a thorough demonstration of it, however if it's not what you thought or you wanted to exchange, refund or upgrade it, FORGET IT. They don't want to know!!! Don't be conned by their cute , fuzzy advertisement....this mob are lethal. I purchased a steam mop with a faulty trigger. Went to Rhodes to try and sort it out. I spent half an hour with the salesman who was swearing blind nothing was wrong with it. Finally got t...hem to take a new one out and the evidence was clear, it was FAULTY !! 45 mins later I left with a new one, but NO other company would, or has ever put me through the wringer like that. Don't take the risk. Buy from a place you know you can refund or exchange from. It's not worth it. It's only been the last 18 months this joint have finally been providing bags for customers. I swear, NEVER AGAIN !!

Purchased fridge and 3 months later it stopped working and would not cool. tried to get replacement or refund but bing lee Rhodes did not want to help. They have now ceased all communications and will not help. Had to go to fair trading for help and now they are lying to fair trading to make it even more difficult. Do not buy anything from these crooks if anything goes wrong they will not help. they are only interested in your money and once they have it they don't care about after sales support.
Purchase in- store, tv. Had it since July 2019, it's faulty. Contacted store and that's it. No contact from anyone. Had to purchase another tv from somewhere else. Very disappointing.
Exceptional Customer Service
I placed an online order of Phillips XL air fryer and Breville Sandwich Maker with an option of in store pick up at Mt Druitt Bing Lee. I reached there and the lady at the counter not only bring it from the store but also helped me to put everything in my shopping trolley, even I wasn’t expecting that from her. So I always have a great online shopping experience with bing lee with store pick up at Mt Druitt.

I was served by ‘[Name Removed]’ or as per my receipt, ’Ming’ at the store. I picked up my order from Burwood bing Lee and she gave me nothing bad bad customer service i.e “you should have read your email! You need Photo ID” and observed to be inpatient when I was searching my bag for my ID. No eye contact. Slammed my product onto the desk when she finished serving me... please teach her basic customer service please. She was lucky I was was in a good mood this day otherwise I would have said something on the spot
Selling second-hand goods which are disguised as brand new?
My wife purchased a Sunbeam coffee machine from Bing Lee's online eBay store with pick up from Marsden Park.
I opened it after fathers day and noticed the tape on the box looked like it had been opened previously but thought nothing of it. I continued to open and set up the machine. I noticed some brown residue on the housing around the grinder which started to arouse my suspicions. The instructions recommended flushing the machine with tap water which i did. I noticed in the flushed water small brown pieces which resembled ground coffee. Thi...s further caused me to suspect this was a used machine. I proceeded to attempt to make the first cup of coffee but the machine jammed 2-3 times. At this point, mixed with my suspicion of it being a second hand or returned product, i decided to return it to Bing Lee. They tried to palm it off to Sunbeam and told me it is normal for the machine to be tested before sale but i said its hard to believe they would make a coffee as part of their QA process. Without saying a word, they proceeded to pull all the parts out of the box and tried to make a cup of coffee. After 15 minutes of them fumbling around and using a vacuum to suck out beans stuck in the grinder they proceeded to tell me the machine worked like normal. I found this strange as i have never had a company try and challenge me by setting up a faulty product to try and prove me wrong. Anyway, we went back and forth where they continually refused my request for a refund. After 10 or so minutes, they called the Sunbeam rep who told them to offer me a refund or replacement. I don't know what the point of Bing Lee is if they are completely governed by the manufacturer and cant make their own decisions?
I was ripped off.
I bought a fridge from bing lee and I was charged $60 delivery when I was told it was free .They said only when I paid for it and when they delivered it two shelves were missing and refused to replace them.
