Warning warning. If bingle insurance was free I still wouldn't use it.
Zero stars, terrible isn’t a strong enough word. I had two policies with bingle, one was for my car and the other my husband’s, so the first issue is having 2 separate email addresses which we didn’t have, I persevered and ended up with 2 policies but realised that when I went to cancel it I couldn’t because although Bingle accepted my email there was no way I could access any information on the second policy because it didn’t have its own email address so in the end I had to wait until the policy came up for renewal and not renew it, ( thank g...oodness we didn’t need to make a claim because I couldn’t) that was the only way around it because you can’t pick up the phone and speak to anyone. The more serious issue and it’s quite alarming, I then cancelled my policy after selling the vehicle it seemed straight forward, the confirmation email confirmed it was canceled and a refund would be given so I check the account the next day and yes the refund is in there BUT for the month before they started taking out double payments and then the same month I was refunded Bingle took out double payments (by now the policy was cancelled ) I was quite shocked and rattled at this but you can’t speak to anyone so I tried the feedback correspondence via email which was totally useless I had to give them information that they should have had, in the end I had my bank raise a dispute with them which ended up with my card having to be cancelled to stop them taking monthly premiums. It didn’t stop there, I checked the account again and realised they are now using my husbands card to take money out again each month even though they have NO AUTHORITY to use that card it isn’t even linked to my policy, so now his card has to be cancelled to stop them from taking money from a Cancelled Policy and another dispute resolution with the bank to get back funds they have no right to be taking. If you have a policy or cancelled a policy with BINGLE my advise is to check your bank account immediately to see if their double dipping or if your still paying for a policy you no longer have, This is the worst insurance company, do not under any circumstances insure your car with them. Unacceptable Unaccountable Unprofessional Uncontactable Unreliable This is the most stressful experience I’ve ever had with any insurance, don’t make the same mistake I did by insuring with them. Everyone with insurance through Bingle should cancel their Policies and pay the small extra amount each month to a Company you can actually verbally communicate with it will be worth it just for your Sanity . Please check your account for fraudulent debit transactions from this so called Insurer. Read the other reviews about Bingle taking monthly debits after they no longer have a policy.
No call centre. Unable to get answers
After having someone run into me I was unable to talk with anyone at a call centre to answer basic questions. Customer service?. What customer service. Will never use again.
i am with bingle from last 2 years, last month had car crash and was not my fault, still paid upfront 780$ access fee, it has been 3 weeks still they not assign me the repairer, unprofessional people are sitting on the call center, they are not feeling sorry for client situation but laughing on the situation, even managers have no manners how to deal with clients asking me to cancel the policy if your not happy, providing the false information about rent a car, false info about car assessment, worse ever experience I had with them
Bingle has been taking money off me for a year since I cancelled my policy, I can't find any contact details!
Was easy to set up, but I cancelled it over a year ago, and have just realised they are still taking my Direct Debit. Each time I'm on the website I cannot find any details to contact them to get my money back which is owed. Is this a scam?
Unfortunately involved in an accident with a bingle policy holder who was driving on the wrong side of the road and proceeded to crash into my car.Upon investigation she was found to be under the influence of drugs and was arrested at scene.I honestly held no hope of getting my car fixed as bingle is a online company with no phone contact anywhere to be found on the site!But they are underwritten by Suncorp and I was finally able to get a contact phone number.Since getting contact details I have found them to be one of the most professional ins...urance companies I have ever had to deal with, offering to get my car towed to a repairer, covering every single out of pocket expense, organising a late model rental car while mine was being fixed. No customer service
Pretty shocking that bingle dont offer any customer service. Trying to sort out a new policy in the uk and cannot get access to a no claims confirmation form. Not impressed
Shocking... Simply what they are.
Been covered for years until now. Cannot communicate with them, cannot settle my accident, may as well have been uninsured. Do not use Bingle! Look at the other reviews, same stories. Goodbye Bingle.
