Good product, poor after sales support
The Crosswave works really well on tiles and can handle most spills and messes. I've used it in a house with lots of pets and it had no trouble with pet hair. It's very easy to use and not too heavy, the battery has a good life and lasts long enough for me to clean all of the hard floors in my house.
It is much more difficult to clean than advertised, it's not "self-cleaning" at all. There are lots of little nooks and crannies that need to be wiped out (I use a baby wipe which works well) and the filter has to be washed and left to dry complet...ely before the next use (which can take a day or two depending on how warm your house is). The recommended cleaning solutions are pretty expensive, and if you use anything else you risk voiding your warranty. It works well with plain water though, so you don't have to buy the chemicals. (Good as I don't like using lots of chemicals). After 18 months the trigger button on my machine broke, and I found that the after sales support was very poor. I had to call multiple times only to be told there was nothing they could do, and to "call back in a week or two" (I was once promised to be contacted by them, but they never got back to me). If you have any problems, go back to the store you bought it from, don't bother with their support. I dread when my machine is out of warranty and I have to deal with them again. It's a really useful machine, but I wouldn't recommend it due to the poor after sales support.

I love cleaning now
Just used this for the first time today I have two cats and a puppy and light floor boards I really like it however it leaves streaks after wards.
I love how it’s self cleaning and it’s easy to take apart to clean how do I not get steaks on my floor boards thou
Man of the house bought one..
Ok so my wife has been complaining about how hard it is to clean our hard ceramic tile floors, and Plank type lino in the lounge. So i bought one direct from Bissell online. I set it all up and used it and its fantastic. Wife agrees also. Will save her at least 70% less time and effort now ha ha...

Must be a toy vacuum
I have had 2 cordless max so far.
The first unit lasted for 2 months then it just kept shutting itself off, we tried to do re-insert the handle, check the brushbar like they said in the supporting webpage, but didnt help.
We had to return to the shop for a replacement.
And now the second unit, after 3 months, shown the exact same issue again as previous one.
This is waste of effort and time as we had to drive to domayne many times to show them the issue (the store person could not replicate the issue and ask us to take it back, and later we found they didnt fill the clean water tank with water when they tested).
Now we decided to get refund.

Consumables availability (or lack thereof) is tantamount to pyramid scheme!
Consumables are ONLY available by mail order from Bissell (NOT from the point of purchase). Consumables are confusingly named and coloured the same for multiple machines. Purchase and return postage cost the same as the consumables! The fact that the original point of sale does not carry consumables is not advertised/detailed/made aware at time of purchase. It certainly would have meant that I would have bought a more honest brand and not this one.
Purchased in November 2020 at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances for $599.00.
I bought this after watching and reading countless reviews. The first one I bought lasted one clean before the suction failed. The second one replaced by the retailer left my floor covered in a white smear, the smear seemed to a chemical residue that could only be attributed to Bissell’s own cleaning solutions supplied with the cleaner. This is rubbish.

Bissell crosswave Max pet
I have a dog who shed year round and it is fantastic for me and the fact it vacuum and mops at the same time saves me time also doesn't make my arthritis hurt. Just emptying and filling 3 times for a small home I don't like everything else. I love that it's cordless and my floors are quick to dry.

Unfortunately a waste of time. Very very disappointing and I wish I could get my money back.
So, it is good when it works. Which it did for a few months. The cleaning out could be better though.
this is the reason for my review, the waste container and how it is programmed to turn the whole machine off, is unbelievable useless. It get set off when it is not even close to full and the refuses to work for another day after being used for 10 minutes. It has become a absolute piece of trash, to the point I only have negative thoughts about using it. The Bissel service people are useless unfortunately, they can...

It's got it's pros and cons
-Easier on the back compared with vacuuming then mopping
-Actual cleaning time is way less than vacuuming and mopping
-Refreshes carpet - not a deep clean though
-Great at getting fine dust and debris up off floor
-Love that it's cordless
-Battery lasts well
-Auto cleaning of the roller is cute
-Floors don't get too wet (you can control the amount of water used) and therefore dry quickly

Why I purchased this
Bought 6 months ago and from last two months calling their customer service. explained every thing as every part of machine is got cracked or leaking. lights don't work, leaves lines on floor after cleaning. Works well, no issues so far
Bought it to save time on regular cleaning of my floors, and it does this job well.
I have a big house, and on the first run of cleaning I almost got the whole house done before the battery went flat. I put this down to me moving it too slowly and going over sections multiple times.
The US version of this appliance is wi-fi enabled; you can connect your phone and perform firmware updates and see usage statistics. For some reason this feature is not supported here in aus.

It’s great... when it actually works!
I purchased this machine in November 2020 - it was amazing, I was raving about how good it was to everyone I knew.. roughly 6 weeks later (end of December), while in the middle of using it, the trigger stopped working so the machine wouldn’t spray water or light up at the head (so you couldn’t use it to clean floors). They had to send me a new handle and trigger (so it was a couple of weeks with no machine). The new handle worked instantly and I was back to loving the machine - skip to the start of March 2021 (around 9 weeks later) - the same t...hing happens again. Again, I have to wait a couple of weeks to receive the new handle. The new handle arrives and the machine works perfectly again... but that was very short lived! By the end of April, I was using the machine again and half way through, the same issue happens again - for the third time in 6 months! This time bissell says they will fix the machine, I said I wanted it replaced as I don’t want it to just keep happening. They tell me they will send me a new machine due to all the ongoing issues I’ve had... it’s now 3 weeks later and they still have not sent the new machine, customer service is an absolute joke and they don’t even respond or give any information! They say they have escalated it to management and will get back to me - never hear anything back! They can’t even tell me when it will actually be sent. Then once it is sent, I have to allow up to 14 business days for postage (so up to 3 weeks) because they don’t offer express. So even if it was sent today - that’s another 6 weeks without a machine! They’ve also stated that my warranty will only be covered from when I purchased the machine and they won’t extend it - even though half the time I’ve had the machine, it hasn’t worked and I’ve been waiting for them to send me parts or a new machine. When it works, it is good but it is very heavy!

Love my bissell crosswave cordless max
I've been using my bissell crosswave cordless max for a couple of months now and love it. I can clean my hard floors in less than 20 minutes, when before it would take twice as long with using the vacuum cleaner then the mop. I love the self cleaning part as well but just make sure to remove the brush after and allow to air dry to avoid the brush smelling. Yes it's true you need to rinse some parts after using the machine but really, it takes a total of 2 mins to do which is less time than emptying a bucket and putting the mop and bucket away. ...I have also noticed sometimes the machine leaves dirty water on the floor but I find that only happens when I squeeze the trigger too much, but if I go back and forth a few times, the machine will remove the dirty water. I do have one small issue though, I can't get right into the edges in the kitchen, I've tried running the machine adjacent to the cupboards as well as using the machine front on to the cupboards and neither way cleans close to the cupboards. It misses a couple of cms of so around all the edges, which means I still need to use a mop and bucket at times to clean the cupboard edges. Other than that, I would still recommend the bissell crosswave cordless max.

Cord-free is a big plus
Really happy I upgraded from Corded Pet version. I've recently moved to a place with all tiles, and my dog makes messes daily when eating and drinking from her bowls. This is simple to grab and clean up the mess effectively and hygienically. The automatic self clean feature seems like a small thing but saves the added steps previous models have.
As with all floor cleaners you do need to use the machine as intended, and move it slower than you would with a regular vacuum cleaner. And realise that you're in control of the water - the trigger for...the water doesn't need to be pressed anywhere near as much as you think. I use far less formula to water mix than what they recommend, and have found the Hard Floor Sanitise formula with the Wood Floor Brushroll best for a no-streak finish on tiles.

I agree with Ciara NSW 28/12/20 , I wish I had never bought this product. It leaves streaks on floor and in some areas puddles of dirty water. It is also NOT a steam mop . Can only use hot water at 60 degrees .
It was costly at $599 from The Good Guys in Osborne Park WA . An impulsive buy by me , encouraged by staff member who said it was a great product. I live with regret !!
Much cheaper and better products in the market.

Questions & Answers
I cannot find a new roller for you Bissell Crosswave 2765F. Everywhere I look it says rollers are not made for this model. I only bought this in March 2021? Any help out there please?
I have the 2767 model from harvey norman . my charge does not last very long at all.
had to charge it 3 times to finish my floors. Does the charge increase after the battery has been recharged a few times like other batteries. My stick vaccuums battery last longer.
Our brand new Bissell Crosswave Max 2765F has stopped working. When docked on the charging station it has a single solid red light on the battery indicator. When removed from the docking station - nothing. Tried resets, cleaning etc etc. nothing. No response from Bissell yet either. Any ideas would be appreciated before I tackle Bissell again.
Quickest solution is to take it back to the retailer for a swap over. Otherwise give Bissell Australia customer care a call during business hours Monday - Friday
