Good for small rental bedroom
Better than a broom and dust pan, the cordless stick vacuum quickly clears up ground particles your shoes pick up from outdoors, as I am surviving in a rental bedroom room-sharing house accommodation. Also cobwebs sometimes appear on the ceiling can easily be cleared up with the portable vacuum attachment. Because cleaning takes less than couple of minutes in this small rental room, the battery seems to last for weeks. The release button sometimes stays stuck down after pressing it to release the portable attachment, and to solve this problem i...s to simply push underneath the release button to spring it back into position so it can lock the portable vacuum in place. It can be a bit heavy as you move the cordless vaccum but I guess it is designed that way to keep the vacuum head from jumping off the rug and vinyl floor. Check now and then for small materials that can cause suction problems such as this small square plastic price tag that got stuck in the neck of the vacuum head.

Excellent little device - small and powerful
We live in a 4 bedroom townhouse and the downstairs is mainly wood flooring and some rugs. We keep this vacuum in the kitchen area to quickly clean up the kitchen floor and also use it for the rest of the downstairs periodically too. It picks up off the hard surfaces and the rotating brush helps on the rugs too. The dust buster part comes off so you can use it to clean things off the counter / corners etc. Can't live without it now. Excellent product.

Excellent product, unfortunately won’t last
B&D SVA320B cordless stick vacuum.
Used on tiles 60% and carpet 40%.
Perfect result on both surfaces.
Two year warranty period.
Personal use: average use 3x a week pick up cookie crumbs (twin granddaughters).
Appliance stopped working one month past it’s two year warranty period
No local service, B&D service centre wanted us to send it from QLD to VIC which is more expensive than the appliance itself
Not impressed with their statement, I quote “ The battery life of these products depends heavily on how the unit is used and charged.”.
An average use of 3x week is not overdoing it as for proper vacuum cleaning we use a very good working Electrolux vacuum.
Charging is done as per the booklet with the included charger stand. ...

Great for the boat and house
We bought one of these over 12mths ago for our yacht .
It's ideal as rechargeable - so we can charge when the generator is on and it's ready to go when we need it.
The hand held mini - dust buster part is great for getting into tight places - eg in the engine room.
The kids love to use it in their cabins as it's light and easy for them to use .
We use the full stick vacuum for doing the floors - marine carpet , quick and easy.
It's perfect for our needs . Couldn't be happier .

Love this 2 in 1 vacuum so easy to use and does great job!
Why did it take me so long to get a stick vacuum. This one is great. Love the ease of use, no need for broom for quick vacs of kitchen floor. Has enough power to vacuum carpet and hard floor surfaces. I was lucky enough to get a bonus pet accessory for the dust buster part, this part does come with the other model. So easy to clean my car with dust buster. This part also has extension for easy cleaning of cobwebs up high. Stick has super boost button and you can see how much charge time you have left. The roller can be easily removed if need to...get out caught up hair etc. Love this vacuum! The model number I purchased is FEJ520JFSX-XE but I have posted photo of both designs. Mine was $179 but you can find cheaper if you look around. You need to keep charged ready for use and you need to empty dust compartment after each use as does not hold a lot.

Questions & Answers
I’m using black+decker 2in1 vacuum cleaner 14.4v for 1 year and now the battery life has reduced drastically and I’m looking to replace the battery or buy a new one. I saw a 18v version but not sure how good and should I get it. My budget is about SGD$200. Any recommendation?
how do you attach the two parts of the stick assembly?? do you just cram the cord in??
Yes you just assist it in one of the parts, no biggie.
