Terrible, dangerous, gives electric shocks – This vacuum cleaner is terribly dangerous, it gave me electric shocks!!!

Doesn’t filter fine dust – Uses a basic high density foam disk as a filter, that just sits loosely inside the housing. On first use, I was annoyed to see that fine dust just shoots out the side vents, it has no way to filter it. It’s ok on heavy particles, but not anything fine. I wouldn’t buy it again. The instructions shows pictures of a secondary filter that I thought was missing, but close examination and fine print advises that this model does not come with the secondary filter. Why?? It needs it.

This is great for dealing with child related food mess – I use this to clean up mess around the kids after meals. I like that it is wet and dry because my kids make both types of mess. The kids aren't too bothered by the noise as they are by the normal vacuum and are quite happy to let me Dustbust them directly! :-) It came with several attachments but they have long since gone missing (kids) but it works fine (and in some cases better) for most purposes with none of the attachments fitted! I brought it because it was the cheapest model of hand held vacuums in BigW at the time (it is no longer that cheap) and I needed something small to clean the car for the in-laws arrival!
Good points - The suction is fine for small areas of mess - It is easy to clean out - It is easy to empty - It isn't destroyed by wet mess - Works well on Kids - Works okay in the car - Lasts well on one charge. Note: I only tend to use it for a few mins at a time - Works well at getting sand, grit and unpleasantness out of the crease in the rear car seats.
Room for improvement - Not as good on carpet as hard flat surfaces. - The charging base is designed to be wall mounted and doesn't work so well on the flat (disconnects unless propped up slightly!)

Average Dustbuster – The biggest standout with this model is you must hold the power button down all the time while operating – I do not like this. The three attachments are good – a brush tool for upholstery, a crevice tool and a pet brush tool. Suction is OK but not great. I bought this for the car, so I've only used it on upholstery and carpet but no liquid yet. The handle is a little short for bigger hands. This is an average dust buster at a lower price. In my physical search for a dustbuster the Black & Decker PV1820L-XE had the best suction but at 3 times the price (and not Wet and Dry)
