So happy with the result!
I originally had Blind Inspiration in to quote on an awning. They thought, for what I wanted to achieve, that this wasn't the best option. Instead I ended up with electric roller blinds which was a much better solution - more elegant and fitting aesthetically, but also much cheaper. I'm so happy with the result so very grateful to Blind Inspiration.

Poor after sales service
We had almost our entire house fitted out with plantation shutters from Blind Inspiration. However six of the shutters have become loose and need replacing. However despite emails and phone calls since January 2020 I have had no response.
Very professional, patient, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. From the first visit to the final install everything was stress free. Amazing customer service and products. Highly recommend Blind Inspiration.

Very poor after sale service
Reported defective products via email and phone call ask for replacement. We have sent few photograph to approve the obvious faulty but they insist us to bring the big blinds to the showroom for inspection for further investigation . We have to give up... Very disappointing the after sale service.

Had blind inspiration install shutters in 2014 for 5 rooms and was very happy. Now need more shutters and have made contact 3 times for a quote but no one is returning my email/call since January. May have to consider another company disappointingly.
Couldn't be happier
We had plantation blinds installed at our home at the end of last year and we were extremely happy with the results. They were installed very professionally and although we had a number of weeks to wait before they could be installed they were well worth the wait.
AVOID! Rude staff, demand full payment before installation
Our dealings with Blind Inspiration were very poor.
We selected them due to a recommendation from a Real Estate Agency (who have since withdrawn them as a 'recommended provider'), their promise of installing the blinds within 2 weeks (it took almost 4 weeks, after significant chasing) and because they offered a competitive price. In reflection, I would happily pay more to avoid dealing with [name removed] (General Manager), [name removed] (Owner) and [name removed] (Customer Service).
We agreed to Blind Inspiration's Terms & Conditions, th...at requested a 50% deposit upfront - we paid immediately. However 2 days before the blinds were due to be installed, they rudely demanded full payment immediately, or they wouldn't install the blinds. As our property was on the market, the delays and threats were impacting the appearance during open-for-inspections. After rudely threatening my wife, I spoke with [name removed], then escalated to [name removed], and even [name removed] (the Owner). All of them were equally rude to me, demanding the payment despite this not being the agreement in their own Terms & Conditions. Their invoice clearly states: "Order can not proceed until deposit and acceptance received", and "Balance due on installation". They continued to insist on full payment, until I provided [name removed] with the following "Preventing Unfair Terms in Window and Floor Covering Agreements" document, from the Australia Consumer Law. [ http://consumerlaw-staging.tspace.gov.au/files/2015/09/window_floor_guide.pdf ] This document (pages 7-8) shows that their 50% deposit is inappropriate, and should be no more than 10%. It also clearly states that "The normal right of consumers is to pay the full price only on installation, and if the product and workmanship are satisfactory." [name removed] finally conceded, and arranged for the blind installation, on the condition that we made the payment on-the-spot once they were installed. However the installer believed he had installed the wrong blind and missed some parts, and advised he would return to correct this. (The installer was nice.) This lead to another abusive call from [name removed] to my wife, demanding immediate payment within 1 hour, "or else I will send back the installer to remove the blinds". We refused until the correction was made.
Terrible Customer Service
I do not recommend this company. Not professional at all. I booked a quote which they cancelled on the appointment day. Re-booked and this time they just didn't show (waited for 45min) - Jeniffer the Sales person not even answer her mobile - please read the reviews and get your shutters elsewhere.
I had the lovely Yvonne as my rep and she was very helpful and gave me the right advice. I had a few more companies come in to give me a quote and they were too pushy, told me what to go with and what I wanted was "not possible" or "won't look good". Contacting the office and booking in my shutters was so easy and they had someone out quickly to do the final measurements.

I never write reviews but I am so overwhelmed by the exceptional service, price and quality of product I have received from Blind Inspiration that I just have to give them a 'high five'. I booked 5 quotes when I was shopping around for shutters and blinds. (Might seem like a lot, but it was a sizeable job) One company did not show and I never heard from them. Of the other 4 every salesperson except Yvonne from Blind Inspiration showed little interest in providing me with thorough information on products. They seemed to just want to quickly mea...sure and rush out the door. Yvonne helped me decide on exactly which products best suited my needs and style the of my house, in fact even changed my mind about putting shutters on one of my sets of doors as she didn't feel that it was the best option, and when she showed me why it made sense. The other 3 salespeople did not show me how they would be fitted and therefore not point out that perhaps for that area shutters would not be the ideal choice. Basically I would not have been able to open one of my kitchen cupboards, and Yvonne was the only one that picked up on it. She let me take as much time as I needed to choose the fabric for my blinds (quite a lot to choose from too, unlike the other companies with very limited choice). She showed a genuine interest in helping me style my home with the right window coverings that I will be happy with in the years to come. Such a pleasure to deal with someone with such a positive energy who really seems to love their job. I ended up getting a combination of shutters and blinds which were installed last week and I'm so chuffed I can't stop looking at them! Oh and top of everything else - they were also the cheapest quote I got! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Hi. Is this the company in Lane Cove West? I read all the bad reviews just before the consultant arrived, too late to cancel. However I understand there is another similar name company further out west or in the Hills district, and that they might be the ones with the bad reviews. If someone could tell me please where this Blind Inspiration company is located I'd be most grateful. Thank you.

I'd take some of the bad reviews with a grain of salt, though - a number of them are written by reviewers who only have one review to their name, they're short with no detail and they have similar language and complaints ("I wish I had read the reviews"). Those are often hallmark features of fake reviews. Having said that, some of the positive reviews are similar.
There are a couple of bad reviews from reviewers who have multiple reviews so I would put more stock in those.
