Blinds on the Net

We recently purchased two custom made Roman blinds from Blinds on the Net. On the positive side, the blinds were made and delivered safely to our door within 8 business days which was very impressive. The installation video was also very helpful.
On the negative side, the blinds cost fifty per cent more than from other makers and the look of the finished product was not what we had hoped for.

Having ordered and paid for $900 worth of rollup insect screen blinds, and having then built a deck to fit the blind measurements, I rang this company three weeks down the track to check the delivery date on our blinds so that they could be installed on our newly built deck. After the consultant checked with the supplier (something I would have expected to be done immediately upon our payment 3 weeks earlier), I was told that the product was no longer available. We recently purchased some white 50mm Abachi timber Venetian blinds. When we received the blinds both the length & width were spot on - however to 50mm Abachi blinds comes with a 60mm metal control box at the top which is not stated anywhere on their web page. Since our windows are only 50mm deep these new blinds don't fit. After a few emails from "Blinds on the net" they are not interested in refunding us our money even though their product is not as stated. Their answer were "we should have known that the depth of 50mm blind are actually 60mm. Be carful dealing with this mob !!!!
