Beware. False Claims, non existent follow up service
Used the company twice. Both times flowers were substandard. The Christmas bunch were not as paid for. The most recent bunch sat in a van for two days, and totally missed the promised delivery date and event.
Please go somewhere else .......
I ordered flowers as an Anniversary Surprise two days in advance.
The operator said the flowers would be delivered in the morning as l specified due to the person being out the rest of the day.
When they were delivered late afternoon, no one was home. They were left out in the full sun. They had the persons mobile number but no call was made to ask if they should leave them.
My ph calls to the Bloomex were to no avail.
I asked to speak to the supervisor but the only supervisor was the operator (l got no where).

I ordered sympathy flowers on a Thursday to be sent on a Friday. The flowers were not sent until the following Wednesday, they arrived wilting and dead, not at all like the image on line. I was left feeling so embarrased and at such a sad time to have these flowers arrive looking so sad only added to the misery., Really??? I am reporting Bloomex to Consumer Affairs, so wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from this company. For Gods sake I was sending sympathy flowers would you not take a little more care??
Ordered beautiful basket of plants from Christmas option with decoration. A bunch of flowers were delivered.They apologised only after I pointed out delivery was not what I ordered. An email would have been nice before I had to ask why the delivery was wrong and so I was not not upset when recipient sent me picture of flowers (not basket of plants). I was surprised and disappointed as I was not made aware of change so I had the heads up.
Also I had flowers delivered to me for Christmas from a lovely person via Bloomex, the courier was met at the door so no time delay on our part but flowers were in very poor condition. Didn't have the heart to tell the sender.
Disappointing service all round it seems. Will not use Bloomex again.
Ordered flowers Order #1623060. Paid for supersized bouquet, vase, teddy, chocolates and card. Delivery was to be on 16/01/2021 for my mothers birthday. Rang her on the 17th to check in and asked about flowers, obviously there were none. Totally ruined the whole surprise which devastated both myself and her. Live chat with the company and was assured it was unacceptable and would be contacted by manager ASAP. No contact yet. Also assured flowers were scheduled for delivery the next day. 18th no delivery made or attempted as mother was home on a...ll days and clear instructions to call were left on delivery instructions. No attempt to deliver ever made. Contacted live chat again and was fobbed off saying I would be contacted by email. Find out today a box was delivered to post office on the 15th with no update on order status made or attempt to contact by delivery company or Bloomex to ensure it was collected. Post informed mother today there was a parcel to be collected and obviously she discovered flowers pretty much dead, some even look like they have mould or webbing on them, chocolates not what were pictured and quite frankly below par bouquet for supersized payment. Assured by live chat on 3rd attempt that I would be contacted immediately. Still waiting. For a company to rip people off in this way I personally would be ashamed. Hopefully they at least try to rectify this situation and do the right thing by the many people who have been so let down.
Refund still refused Dead funeral flowers
I just received an email wanting details. These were sent with photos on 16 December when full refund of $106.85 was requested. I am back to square one after 12 emails I believe computer generated. So frustrating. This Company WILL NOT refund. Further action is being taken.
Very disappointed twice
I ordered 100 blooms of Holiday Alstroemeria and a vase for $119.85 including delivery to be delivered on December 19, 2020. A totally different and inferior arrangement was delivered on December 17. After complaining via email Bloomex offered to deliver the correct order on January 15,2021.
I rang Bloomex on January 15 to confirm the flowers were being delivered and was advised they were in transit and would arrive shortly. I waited. The flowers did not arrive.

Flowers 3 days late called "fresh"?
Flowers ordered 11/1 for 12/1 delivery. Rang on 15/1 due to no flowers turning up. They said they sent an email to me stating they were delivered to the Post Office! (Spelt the address wrong which I had repeated to the sales person twice but her lack of fluency of the English language shone through and also the instructions were to leave the flowers at the back door (in the shade) if no one home. ) The recipients were not expecting anything at the PO so hadn't been down there.(mail gets delivered) The recipients then went down and picked them u...p after I rang them. Bloomex then wanted a photo of the flowers ( Yes now I had to get the recipients to send me a photo? really?) The roses had brown edges on them and the lilies now all in total full bloom were starting to droop. "Bloomex Team" said the flowers were lovely - really? I asked for refund or another fresh bunch to be sent but got - "We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please note that your business is very important to our company and we look forward to making your future orders a better experience” - and offered 15% off the next order! Obviously there will not ever be another order. I might add that after 3 emails they were still spelling my name wrong and I haven't been sent a receipt either.

Flowers were sent as a Christmas gift from sister in Sydney.
22 December 2020, was woken at 9.00pm by a phone call from unknown number wanting directions to my villa in a retirement complex that is gated and locked. Could not get logical reason for wanting me at this hour as gate was locked. Was informed that ‘husband had opened gate’, flowers’.

Crap bunch of flowers
Ordered 1 dozen pink long stem roses for the birth of my granddaughter-they sent red!!
There were literally 3 stems of greenery! After paying $110 (including delivery) it was the most pathetic display of flowers I have ever seen. I am embarrassed that I sent such a lousy bunch of flowers.
Save your money and go to coles/woolies - much better value than Bloomex.

I ordered and paid for yellow roses + a large box of Lindt chocolates, extra upgrade to deluxe (extra white flowers) a teddy bear and the flowers to be delivered in a glass vase (paid extra for the vase) got a message to say delivery couldn’t be made the next day, which I was ok with. Few hours later received a message asking me to call urgently. Spoke to Abigail who advised me there were no yellow roses in stock. After a long discussion it seemed like they could not substitute with anything I chose! I was ready to cancel my order and get a re...fund. But Abigail then offered to substitute the yellow roses for 40 stems of red roses, plus the extra stuff I paid for -Which is extra white flowers, large box of Lindt, glass vase, and teddy bear. What got delivered (and was left outside the house in the sun)was 24 red roses in a box, a box of unidentifiable chocolates and the vase separately, and the teddy bear. This is shocking! They take your money and don’t deliver what you ordered! DONT USE this company!

I really wish I had of read these reviews before ordering. After my order not delivered 2 days after it should have been, I suspect I’m one of the many that will be chasing a refund.

BLOOMEX is a well crafted scam. They get around the law by actually sometimes delivery flowers and hope no-one will go to the authorities. I will and am determined they never get to rip off Australians again. TAKE NO NOTICE of "positive" reviews, they are written by the 2 people who actually work at Bloomex. Bloomex is a Canadian company ripping off Australians. Why in the hell haven't Canadian authorities clamped down on them ?- there are 1000s of Canadians who have complained.
