First and last pair of Blundstones
About a month after purchasing Blundstone 991 started to get rubbing on the top side of toes causing blisters. Blundstone did refund me to their credit but will never buy them again. Have seen similar reviews by others.
Outstanding customer service. Thank you.
I contacted Blundstone customer support in regards to a matter and it was resolved within 24 hours. The customer support went far beyond my expectations and provided the most exceptional resolution. Very pleased.
Blundstone Boot Quality is Poor
My daughter wore her sisters 2 plus year old Blundstone boots and retired them after the sole wore down and developed a hole. My daughter saved up her money and purchased another pair. Exactly the same. Less than six months later she shoes leek, the toe lining has worn away and developed a hole in the outside area. They are rubbish quality. Even feeling the leather on the new ones compared to the older ones you can clearly see they are lesser quality. Absolute rubbish.
Fault with toe stiffiner
Boot had fault with inteŕnal toe stiffiner which forms a ridge over toes creating a pressure point making it very uncomfortable to wear.
Have contacted customer service who say return to purchase place. Problem is I live in a different state to where purchase took place and have misplaced receipt.
Never had this issue before but I guess this is what happens when manufacturing goes off shore.
Couldn't recommend anyone purchasing these boots as quality control doesn't appear to be an important issue for company.
I'm not the first to have this is...
Wrecked after 2 months!
I bought a pair of blundstones 500s about two months ago. I was hesitant as they're no longer made in Australia but decided to go ahead with the purchase. Unfortunately the soles cracked after only a few months. I had blundstones boots in the past and they did last for years, I can't believe how bad the quality is on this current pair. What a waste!
Excellent customer service
I bought a couple of boots, one for me and another for my partner, some time ago but the sole began to crack. I contacted the warranty team and in a couple of days, they solve the problem.
I am very happy with my old boots, I wear them for 5 years, and I will be very happy with my new ones! excellent quality!
I had an small issue with a pair of boots , I contacted Michele at the Derwent Park factory who sent me to see a wonderful lady named Jo.
Issue sorted both so friendly and helpful a true credit to the company.
Always loved the boots and always will.

Not recommended Blundstone 5000 boot
I grew up in Tasmania when Blundstone boots were the boot to wear because of their outstanding comfort and durability. I again bought Blundstone because of the name and my memories of their quality. BIG MISTAKE!The soles cracked and fell off after very little use so my $200 boots are an absolute waste of money.
I purchased a pair of boots in 2010 and only wore them on occasion. I had been ill for some time and recently in 2020 made a complete recovery. I decide to put my boots on to work around the home unfortunately the rubber soles fell apart. My wife told me just throw them away but I thought I would just ask if tis was normal from Blundstone I was told because of the lack of use the rubber dose disintegrate. This is where I was completely impressed by the service they replaced my old boots with a new pair and gave me the upgraded model, they inf...ormed me how this happens with lack of use. I've been in the service and customer industry for 30 plus years and this kind of reference I would love to hear about my company. I will tell the world about this service and would never buy any other brand. Congratulations Blundstone customer service.
Falling apart already!
Worst quality! Ive worked in construction for 10years and I’ve tried boots from every price range. I’ve bought boots from Kmart that lasted longer than these. Not even a year and they are already falling apart. For a boot that cost over $200 it’s very disappointing. The support in the sole is just as bad as the quality of the material. I won’t be buying again.
Didn’t last 2 months! Poor customer service
I thought buy Aussie made for work (plumbing) ... Blundstone’s they have “work boots”. They didn’t last 2 months and fell apart. I was then told my 6 month warranty was void due to wear and tear. Poor customer service. Choose a different brand as I wish I did.
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
My Blundstones have had very little wear and suddenly developed a problem with the upper toe area which left me with dreadful pain and blisters - clearly there was a manufacturing problem. I contacted Head office and Michelle gave me clear directions about filling in the warranty form. I did so and included photos of my problem. 24 hours later I was contacted by email and informed I would receive a new pair of boots.
Proud to support Australian made and incredibly pleased with the quality of customer service and commitment to satisfaction.
These are the best things I have literally ever purchased
I was tossing up about getting Blundstones or not. I wanted a pair of really durable boots that would be perfect for travel: great for hikes and walking all day, but still fashionable enough to wear with jeans and even in winter with dresses. But Blundstones are expensive! However, after living in these boots for 6 months they are 100000% worth the price. I have the original hi-top boots in black.
After months of daily wear, they still look fantastic. The leather is easy to wipe clean and they are yet to have any noticeable scratches. The onl...y signs of wear are the areas of the shoe that are crinkled because of the way your toes bend as you walk. The sole of the shoe is thick and durable, but they still just look like a really nice pair of chelsea boots. Also, they really are 100% waterproof. I have walked through deep puddles and thick mud and my socks and feet are completely dry afterward. I wear very thick orthotics in my shoes due to problem feet, and therefore needed boots that would fit these. For those who wear orthotics, we know that this can be a huge struggle. Luckily, Blundstone online customer service team is fantastic and helped me out. I messaged them about the orthotics, sent them my measurements and they let me know exactly which size I should purchase. My orthotics slipped into the blundstones perfectly, and still left me with heaps of room for my feet. If you don't wear orthotics, they come with a normal but removable insole. A lot of the reviews on this website are very negative, but I do not know why. This is not sponsored in anyway and I barely ever write reviews, but these shoes warrant one. I honestly cannot recommend blundstones enough. I have doc martens too but since I got my blunnies I haven't even put them on. Blundstones are worth the price tag if you know you'll make use of them. I'll definitely be wearing them for the rest of my life.
Terrible customer service
Bought a new pair they split after wearing them for I kid you not less than 40 hours. Took them back in for refund and basically got told that it wasn’t a manufacturers fault and looked like I had intentionally cut them! Super annoyed about the entire ordeal and have had nothing but trouble even when I phoned through to their NZ office.
