Summer's almost gone! ( a chronology of ineptitude)
Early September 2020 visited the South Road showrooms to have an outdoor roller blind fitted to my verandah. Consultant helped me select colour, structure and mechanism and made some measurements. The required deposit was paid and further measurements were taken. Second week in December full payment was requested before my blinds were to be installed. December 17 installers reported that the blinds did not fit and that they would take them away. Thursday January 28th 2021 blinds installed with a couple of extra drill holes. Sunny Saturday 30 Ja...nuary pulled out blinds for the first time but when I went to roll them back up the chord wrapped itself around the axle was jammed and would not roll up. On examination the eyelet guiding the chord was incorrectly aligned. I rang Bob Burns Blinds first thing on Monday February 1st and was told I would get an email detailing when my blind would be fixed. Fingers crossed it will be this Summer. No email! Won't shop local again!
Lack of Interest
I went to the Bob Burns Blinds website and booked my 'Free Measure and Quote".
No response in a week. Obviously they don't need the business. Got satisfaction elsewhere. Shocking customer service!
After three attempts I finally have three security doors installed at a premium price so to say I am not happy is an understatement. Initial sliding doors couldn't close as handles in exact same position as glass doors. Why bother with first and second fittings if you don't know what you are doing? Second visit and replacement doors that required more drilling of holes into my brand new home's door frames and the doors aren't even keyed alike. And this, after I've specifically asked the 2nd installer to confirm all doors keyed the same before h...e takes doors out of van and he assures me they are! Third visit later and my third afternoon off work to be home for this mob and finally doors fitted correctly. Not good enough service by a long shot!

Terrible customer service
These people botched my service from the start not turning up when agreed, installation took months then they sacked their installer and my door key went with them. So when screen door was finally installed I was told they would reimburse me to have locks changed, well how many months and phone calls and personally going into the shop and still no result. They are so quick to take your money but not give it back, their customer service is appalling. Take my advice and find a company that cares!! Now it is in the hands of consumer affairs.
No Customer Service
Initially we went with BBB as they were a well know brand in Adelaide. Order was placed in early Feb. Measure done. Check measure done. (I am not sure what was check measured as I checked the diagram when it came time for installation and it was clearly wrong.)
7 weeks later, time for the installation and the problems begin.
Take a Friday arvo off work - "The installer will be there at 2pm," we were told. We call at 3.45pm and were told, "he will be 15 minutes."
The installer arrived at 6.40pm.
We are having a 4 panel verticle drape ins...
