issues. However, during the one year that Boffo managed my property, I experienced many problems.

Although the management agreement mentioned an 8% fee, there were many additional charges during the year. In my experience, they charged for many things but did not provide the level of service expected from a property manager.

When the tenant left the property, I personally inspected the house and found several damages. However, the response from the agency was often that according to the initial inspection the property was already in poor condition, which meant the owner was expected to pay for most repairs.

For example, when a kitchen cabinet was damaged, they only asked the tenant to pay $20 if the tenant agreed. This amount is clearly not enough to repair the damage.

For other issues, their usual suggestion was to take the matter to SACAT, which would involve additional costs for the owner.

Another serious issue happened when the tenant’s truck crashed into the roof of the property and caused damage. This was never reported to me by the agency. I only discovered it when I inspected the property myself. At first I was told the damage may have been caused by a storm, but I showed them that there was broken vehicle glass under the damaged area. Despite this, the issue was not properly handled.

During my one year experience with this agency, I had many problems. In comparison, I worked with Smith Partners Real Estate for about three years without any issues. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency to landlords looking for property management services.

to have Fadi represent me, he presented me with the fees and I was astounded that not only did he come with exceptional reviews, but his fees were below what the rest of the agents charged. From the get go, Fadi’s communication was nothing short of amazing. I never had to call him to ask what was going on as he was right on the ball. Many times, I feel that agents are just wanting any old price just to close the sale. However, Fadi, guided me carefully on what he felt was the best price and he went above and beyond to get the best offer. My house sold before auction for a phenomenal price to someone on Boffo’s data base and I truly believe that this was down to Fadi’s determination. I would highly recommend Fadi and if I was to sell again, I would choose him to represent my home. There are many wonderful agents out there and some not so good ones. Fadi isn’t wonderful. He is exceptional and an asset to Boffo and the real estate industry. We need more good ones like him.

Very poor service - zero accountability - bullying service – Cannot say I am impressed with professionalism or service. Have been renting a property thru this agent and continually receive email reminders about rent increases 2 months after the increase has occurred - despite paying increases as per lease. being argumentative over minor items eg 1 weed and 1 tiny water drip on shower screen all because I exerted my right to a request not to photograph my personal effects. Inspections are done to see how well you can clean rather than for maintenance issues. Zero maintenance issues were noticed despite them being obvious. Taking pictures of the ceiling and floor is pointless and antagonistic. Staff have significant attitude issues. I may rent a property thru them whilst building but based on my experience, I would never allow them to manage or sell any of the properties within my portfolio. You reap what you sow when you treat tenants poorly. Big mistake on their part.

permitted and there was no penalty to the tennant.We felt that the agent was on the tenants side rather than ours throughout the lease.

Landlords Stay Away from this [Content Removed] – We had the worst experience with this company. The agents I was dealing with are [Name Removed] and [Name Removed]. They are simply the worst in the business. They managed to get the tenant paying the lowest rent possible even when there is a shortage of rental properties. They don't give their mobile numbers and don't take calls on the weekend. Just stay away from them at all COSTS.

Be Prepared to be ignored – Absolutely no Communication at all Apply for advertised properties, go through the process, submit. No issues Wait and Wait and Wait for ANYONE to acknowledge your application. Removed], I did not feel the agent was acting for me, the seller. Firstly he pushed to have the land listed with buildings on the company's private listing site for almost two months with no results. Demolition was delayed due to covid, but the agent chose to put the ad nationally before the block was cleared therefore a suitable auction date could not be decided. After 4 days of national advertising and despite my reservations the agent pushed for a quick private sale, advising me not to go to auction. I was to receive a series of buyer's demands regarding demolition speed and the right to resell the land even before settlement via my agent. The buyer got an amazing deal due to the agent's actions and the seller got to pay commission. Sellers beware of Boffo. Four days after signing the sales contract and 56 days before settlement, the buyer advertised the land with another agent increasing the price by $170,000.
