DEAL NOT AS ADVERTISED
People be aware, I ordered 6 by 1 litter vodka Belvedere, but when parcel arrived there were 6 by 0.7 litre with illumination. I know prices by heart. I only ordered because it was good advertised deal for 1 litre and I would never buy bottles with illumination for such a ridiculous expensive price for 0.7 litre. As soon,as I got parcel,I went to website-the deal disappeared. Probably other thousand people been ribbed off
Ordered 3 cartons of beer. Delivery day came and no beer. Received an email to say it had been delivered. Looks like the idiot has either delivered it to the wrong address or kept them himself. On top of that you cannot contact them > when sending a message they advise they will be back in touch in 2 business days. What a crap service
Do not use BoozeBud if you live in W.A.
Ordered $670 worth of booze on the 20 March 20 given eta 27 March 20 still didn’t get it by today 10 April 20. Obviously failed all of the etas due to Coronavirus. I’m now told I won’t get a refund until the returned goods have been received..I’ve been scammed. Didn’t see the goods as advertised (they simply should halt trading as Australia post aren’t capable) and now my money is reliant on a broken supply chain for goods return, when will that be? They couldn’t deliver, and now I’m at their mercy. Do not use BoozeBud
Prompt response and excellent customer service
Had submitted an order of two slabs and two personalised johnnie walker bottles and the photos that I had uploaded were not accepted due to having alcohol in the photos and amy who I dealt with responded straight a Away after asking a few questions regarding this. She refunded my money so I could reorder and credited my account the shipping fee so when I made the new order I didn’t have to pay for shipping again.
When we got our two slabs the boxes had been quite damaged and hubby took a few sips from the first bottle and it tasted funny so he...
STEER CLEAR! Incompetent customer service
Ordered a case of 2015 Langmeil Valley Floor. Upon receiving the case, I was confused to have received the 2017 vintage, despite their site advertising the 2015 vintage for sale. After speaking to what felt like the entire customer service team, I was eventually refunded.
Unfortunately, I was forced into making a second order, as part of my previous order was refunded as a BoozeBud credit given I had used a Groupon voucher for the previous order. I ordered a case of Grant Burge Filsell on Sunday afternoon, selecting express next day delivery ...(which was free) as I was hoping to receive the case before Christmas and before the next wave of high temperatures set in. I'm sure you can understand my frustration then when I received a confirmation email saying the order would arrive by December 30th. Again, I had to speak to the entire customer service team to get any sort of resolution. I was orignally told the item was already with AusPost, so the order could not be cancelled. Instead, I would have to wait for the delivery to arrive, and then return it via my local post office (not a chance I was going to do this - their mistake, their issue to solve). Eventually, I was told the order could be cancelled as AusPost were able to redirect the delivery back to their warehouse (despite being told this wasn't possible). The customer service representatives I spoke with resorted to using condescending language - "mate" and "righto". Grossly inapprorpriate. Was eventually told that customer service had "dedicated too much time to this issue". Unfortunately I am forced to make a third order as, yet again, I was partly refunded with a BoozeBud Credit. I look forward to the next screw-up.
Appalling Customer Service and Charged Incorrectly
I took advantage of a 'BDAY15' promotion to get free shipping. I was charged shipping for my $200+ order! My 'next day' delivery ended up being next week! My numerous emails sent to BoozeBud asking for them to update my delivery address (so I could get my order sooner) was a complete waste of time and not actioned and I was issued a 'BoozeBud CREDIT' for the delivery charge rather than having the fee refunded back onto my credit card. Be extremely wary when placing online orders - no one at BoozeBud is willing to go above and beyond to assist their customers. Oh, and if you are charged incorrectly, you will be issued with a credit, Not a refund.
Good service, best prices, great selection
I can get rare/hard to find craft beer from Boozebud that I either can't find elsewhere or with the best prices I can find. Delivery can take a few days but I don't need the beer immediately so this doesn't bother me. In my opinion the prices make up for the wait. I've also purchased some nice whiskys from here with great prices (better than dan's)
Over the Christmas holidays I did experienced some issues with orders. Some things were missing and some things were delivered incorrectly. I reported the issue to their Customer service (through th...eir website in my account, my orders) and received refunds for the incorrectly delivery items (meaning I got the incorrectly delivered items free) as well as refunds plus credit for the missing items. Can't argue with that - was able to get even more than I originally ordered as a result. So contrary to other reviews I would say their customer service is excellent. Mistakes were made but they have redeemed themselves in my eyes. Since the holidays I haven't experienced any problems with orders so I assume there were just issues during the 'busy period'. They also frequently have specials (such as free delivery, 10% off, etc) that they send via email which makes their great prices even better. Overall, it's the prices and the selection that keep me coming back.
