Unable to dry sheets well. Just rolls them into a ball and as a result the outside is okay and the centre wet. Expensive difficult to use and not worth the outlay.Purchased in August and installed in our new property that we did not move into until the end of January.I have only just started to use it.
I feel it is worth contacting Choice and consumer affairs about.
Purchased in August 2020 for $1,699.00.
Disappointing in every respect
We purchased our Bosch WT87565AU in March 2017.
Our previous, conventional dryer had lasted almost 30 years having been serviced once when the over-heat cut-off switch needed to be replaced.
Like many others, we were disappointed that the device didn't seem to dry clothes, which is a problem because that's what it was bought to do.
We eventually found that the AllergyPlus setting, drying target set to cupboard dry, Fine Adjust set to maximum got closest to producing dry clothes. Closest but still not as dry as expected.
Purchased in March 2017 at e&s for $1,700.00.
A dryer that doesn't dry
I bought this heat pump late last year and have almost stopped using it as it is kinda useless as a dryer. You go through the whole process of selecting the program that suits the fabric etc only to find out that it will only dry anything to a certain degree. Things are so moist they have to then be put on the line!
Don't bother trying to put them back in the machine - the machine will cut out again after a few minutes and the clothes will be moist. It's a pointless dryer.
So I finally rang Bosch and was told by a service guy to ring rep...airs as 'Surely that isn't normal.' so i rang repairs and just got off the phone. Apparently that's normal! if you actually want to dry clothes you have to use a timed program - great news, why didn't you tell me that to begin with? Why bother having so many programs if you know I'll just have to resort to the one timed program. Very frustrating to find there is no ability to 'dry' clothes according to fabric unless I want them wet. This really makes this dryer almost useless to me. Not what I expected from Bosch, I'm very disappointed. Can I have a refund please as this product isn't what it is sold as.

Not impressed - Too many fancy programs but all I want is dry clothes!
Our machine is now 30 months old and we are now experiencing constant issues trying to dry clothes.
Every load will not completely dry and the problem has deteriorated in recent days where the washing is still wet and starting the cycle or program again results in the the machine stopping without drying or with beeping warning sound. The light showing a water droplet into a bucket flashes as the machine beeps. Upon inspection, the condenser tray and filter are empty. I've also tried cleaning the moisture sensor and this doesn't resolve the issue. Help!

don't waste your money
Similar to other purchasers of this drier.Have owned Bosch dishwashers for many years. They are brilliant and can thoroughly recommend. Unfortunately would not recommend their expensive clothes clothes drier. Just out of warranty pump needed replacing. Puddle of water is now sitting in bottom of drum . Piece of crap grrrrrr

Don't believe the measurements provided
Dryer performs well BUT - under "technical" specifications the manual and the website provides the height, width and depth of the dryer. I (and the retailer) relied on this information to determine if the unit would fit in the space I have. On delivery it became apparent that the depth provided under technical specifications was not correct - the only response I have had from Bosch is that apparently I should have known that the depth provided only referred to the cabinet without the door (without this qualification appearing under 'technical...specifications) and that I should apparently have realised that I needed to search the website not under the specifications tab but under the tab labelled 'additional information'. This piece of sophistry eluded me and the David Jones retailer. So there are two problems - one the information provided by Bosch in their manual and website is misleading and two, having initially tried to suggest this was merely a matter of my confusion, Bosch has since failed to reply to a followup email. So this does not inspire any confidence in the professionalism or quality of the customer service provided by Bosch.
Didn't last long
I purchased one of these 15 July 2017, and it is displaying similar problems already mentioned in other variants of this dryer - e.g. it never completely dried the clothes, always had to finish each load off with a 20 minute warm program or run the risk of damp clothes going moldy in the cupboard.
Similarly as other reviews, our machine has started to stop after a short time into a program with the water tank symbol error and wet clothes. This happens 7 min exactly each time on the "Timed program warm" (20min or more). We have the drain pip...e clear and running to the sink, empty and clean the condenser tank and filter regularly, happens ever time - useless. Additionally any of the programmed settings e.g. "Super Quick 40’", starts at 40min, then at 37min it drops to 1min and then stops. Same for the "Shirts" setting - exactly 3min in to the program it drops to 1min and then stops. Not good for a purportedly quality product. Now to find the "Need to repair" setting on the dial.
Dries clothes but bedsheets and towels forget it
Bought this expensive dryer to replace an older cheaper one. Dries clothes fantastically however bedsheets or towels are a nightmare to dry. The drum only spins clockwise so bedhseets roll up into tight balls and unless you have the time every 15 minutes to untangle you end up with a half dry bedsheet. Towels are the same, not always completely dry when finished meaning has to go on again on manual heat setting. Very disappointed in the cost of this when this happens. Cheaper versions of Bosch I've had in the past were fantastic. Not worth spending the money on this version.
Good when it works
Great dryer when it works, got a replacement warranty, On our 3rd machine, have had dryer for 2 years and has stopped drying clothes twice so twice had it replaced, no Bosch service on Sunshine Coast so whole process to replace leaves us without a dryer for over a month, time wasted waiting for local service guy then waiting for Bosch service guy to come up from Brisbane to confirm not drying, never buying Bosch again

I have had 5 service calls on my Bosch Condensate dryer. 3 of them in Extended warranty which was a blessing. It either does not pump the water out, It does not dry, or it has a fault code come up on the screen telling me to empty the water tray even though the tray is empty. The first time it broke down it took 2 months to get the parts from Germany. I have also had to replace the condensate tray. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this dryer

Why When placing a very small load of socks, underwear doesn’t go through a complete cycle no matter what cycle selected and not dried
Dryer isn’t heating and light isn’t turning on what could be the issue?

I have a seri 8 condensed dryer and I can’t work out what setting is good for drying sheets. They always just end up in a ball wet in the middle????
This is what I use for everything .. (I got a tip from someone). Initially I thought drier was faulty but alas nope! Nothing can be dried in any hurry even if you want to choose it to be.
Timed Program warm. Turn off “easy iron”!
Needs 1’20” or more depending size of sheets. But you’ve got to be on attention and keep unballing the sheets as the drier only spins one way. Seems unpredictable when - and if - it’s going to get hot, usually near the very end.
Good luck, JJJ
