Well worth the extra dollars
It is very simple to use, it does an excellent job of cleaning dishes, even on the express 45C cycle.
I really like the versatility of all the fold down racks and height adjustment on the top basket, which allows you to get all the awkard sized pans and baking trays in there.
It is whisper quiet in operation and is well built and designed.
After looking at quite a few other dishwashers, the quality of the finish on the Bosch units put them head and shoulders above the others, with only the Asko dishwashers comparing well with them.
The stainless casings are a nice heavy gauge and should take the odd bump or direct hit from a Tonka toy without too many worries.
All the baskets are held by strong stainless fittings, unlike many of the cheaper models, our old Simpson dishwasher needed the basket supports replacing virtually every 3 months, this is never going to be a problem with the Bosch.
If it proves to be as dependable and long lasting as our Bosch washing machine, it should give us many years of good service.
Great design, well built and performs superbly
The cutelry basket need larger slots to fit a variety of handle shapes
Easy to use and not haveing to clean finger prints off the door daily is a plus. It does clean better then old one.
Washes well, love the anti fingerprint stainless steel finish,(differant to my fridge),rather quiet.Well built.Like the tray on top that you can put the long knives in.
Not to much, but have found glasses fall over,I use a lot of cups mugs and glasses,so no room left for the saucers and bread and butter plates they have to go below. The Asko has a better top basket.(I had one in old house.)
