$1600 machine performs worse than our old $500 IKEA unit
As the title says, we "upgraded" to this machine from our old $500 IKEA unit when it broke. Unfortunately this performs worse in every way. Forget about any of the cleaning options aside from the most energy and water intense, as they do not clean the dishes. Things do not come out dry from this unit, even with the extra dry option selected. All of our cutlery has started getting rust spots now. It is nowhere near as silent as the 44dB it claims. Read moreimpossible to tell when you've pressed a button properly. The delay between pressing and something happening is a good 3-4 seconds and very frustrating. In summary this unit cleans fine using the most intensive options and the recommended detergent, does not dry at all, is noisy, and at the price, is terrible value.Purchased in February 2022 at Appliances Online for $1,579.

Very noisy
Bought this to replace a 15 year old Miele dishwasher. It claims to be silenceplus. There is no comparison between the two. The Bosch is significantly more noisy brand new than the Miele was after 15 years. Lots of plastic and no side panels. If Bosch want to market this as a quiet dishwasher then they should deliver on the claim. Standing 1 meter from the dishwasher the sound level is more like 58dB on the standard sensor program mode and it makes a cacophony of annoying noises.
