Generally fine, but trying to dry linen is a pain
I bought this after my Miele gave it up after 12 years. With just clothes, it is a great dryer and does the job to our satisfaction. But linen? It's painful. Because it only turns in one direction, quilts, sheets etc end up in a tight little ball, and you have to constantly intervene. We live in an apartment so drying it on the clothes line isn't an option. Many a time we have forgotten the quilt cover was in there, go to put something else in and realise that it's still wet and have to put the dryer back on. I hate it for that reason and wouldn't recommend one. I've had a Miele and Asko dryer and they are both much better compared to this.

Actually put our lives in danger
Purchased the Bosch WTY877W0AU dryer two years ago, along with the matching washing machine, at an expense of just under $5k.
Unfortunately within days of the dryer's warranty expiring, it stopped working. After agreeing to fix the machine, it took Bosch SIX WEEKS and FOUR VISITS to repair the machine. Having just given birth, and toilet training our toddler, this was infuriatingly frustrating.
On top of this debacle, after advising us that the machine was 'ready to go', they failed to place the condenser drain pipe back into our laundry sin...k. Unbeknownst to use, this led to our laundry flooding, including into the power board that the machine was plugged into. As the whole family had been in the laundry at different times that night (including our toddler), unaware of the slow leak and therefore the threat to our lives from the deadly mix of live electricity and water, Bosch effectively jeopardised the lives of my entire family through their incompetence. And the clincher, they refused to pay for the damage that their incompetence caused.

This is our first heat pump dryer after many years of service from a conventional vented dryer. The criticisms others have had regarding heat pump dryers in general, and perhaps this in particular, are valid - in that it takes the "Cotton" cycle and at least "Cupboard dry" to get the clothes "properly" dry; that there is no reverse tumble action, so that large items like bedsheets can get balled up; and that the lint filter is not as straightforward to clean out as more conventional dryers.
However, this unit itself is otherwise superb. It fee...ls beautifully made (acknowledging that it is made in Poland rather than Germany), is *incredibly* quiet (such that the "night drying mode" is superfluous), and deals with even very large, wet sheets with ease. The anti-crease function actually does seem to work well for work clothes. Emptying the condenser drawer is straightforward, and cleaning the lint filter can be done reasonably quickly. Children's clothes have dried very well without shrinking. We purchased from Appliances Online as part of a package with a washing machine. The installers were fantastic - came on time with plenty of notice, cleaned up after themselves and were extremely pleasant.

Happy with the Bosch WTY877W0AU
After so many research in the past few month, i finally bought the BOSCH WTY877W0AU dryer arrived today and i am happy with the result. I used only one cycle so far, used the cotton cycle option and Cupboard dry option to dry mixed of clothes including shirt, pants and towels and after 2hours all the cloths came fully dried and soft.
I am happy with it and i feel made with the rite choice.
Very happy so far - dries with ease
Purchased to match our front loader and we are very happy so far - the light in the drum is great but I find it a bit odd that with the washer you turn on and load but with the dryer you load and then turn on. Like the ability to switch the side the door opens (change hinge side) but we are planning to get the stacker kit so not planning to switch it. Has a large load capacity compared to other dryers I have owned (9kg) and appears to dry perfectly and in a timely manner.
Questions & Answers
My Bosch 9kg dryer is 12 months old and it has stopped drying. The dryer goes but the clothes are still wet after 2 hours and no water is collected in the water tray. Any ideas?

Has anyone had issues with the clothes twisting in this dryer?
Hoping a Bosch specialist can answer this - our laundry is in the garage and we had a mouse get in the back of the drier. Luckily we got it out without issue but I have to ask (as I would have expected this feature for price paid) why doesn’t your product(s) have rodent guards or vents impossible for rodents to enter? As many laundry are located in garages sadly mice can be a hazard that should be guarded against.
