Terrible, one earpiece constantly drops out
Whilst the sound is good, the left ear bud constantly drops out and fails to connect. Bose say do updates but the problem keeps coming back. They also fall out whilst running. Would definitely not recommend. Have been nothing but trouble

I had an ear bud blow up in my left ear.
I had an ear bud explode in my left ear causing minor damage. I contacted BOSE to let them know and they were quick to upgrade me to new QC ear buds free of charge.
I got new QC ear buds and the second I put them in the left ear bud is making some loud howling sound (same ear the the sound sport ones blew up in). I contacted them immediately and I still don't have a replacement and it has been more than two months. :)

Known battery drain issue, no support
I really like everything about the headphones except there is a battery drain issue that is a known issue. When trying to get it repaired or replaced they offer you a reduced price on an upgraded model. I don't want to spend more, I already paid good money for a defective product.
To top it off, I only use them 3 or 4 times a month, so they are practically like new.
Disappointed in Bose, will not purchase their product again.

Battery goes flat under 2 hours
These are great sounding headphones and at first I had no complaints apart from them constantly falling out onto the ground. But in less than 2 years they are now almost useless as the battery goes flat very quickly. After experiencing terrible customer service with Bose previously I couldn't put myself through another stressful warranty claim.

Good Sound and Fit, Poor Long Term Quality
I received these as part of a promotion with my mobile phone purchase in July 2019 (it's now Feb/March 2021). While they're a great unit and very comfortable with good sound quality, the long term quality is extremely poor. The buttons on the buds perishes which means that you no longer use them. Initially it was just the lower volume but now all buttons including the one to turn them on have broken. They only offer a 12 month warranty on these. Considering you are shelling out $200+ on these this product failure is completely unacceptable. Avoid.

Continuously discharges
I use these headphones rarely - about twice a week on the bus or when out for a jog / walk.
Due to the nature of the Low-Energy Bluetooth, they are constantly powered on awaiting a signal from a bluetooth device. As a result, the headphones go flat after about a 5 days of not even being used. Keep them in the case and they both go flat.
I would NOT recommend these headphones to anyone, surely you can leave a set of headphones for a week and come back and they've dropped maybe 5% of charge? Not these - these will be flat.
Its a known issue that's all over the Bose website - but Bose even refuse to acknowledge the issue and haven't released firmware to address it.

Left earbud won't pair anymore
Worked fine for a while, I'm now at the stage where I have to unpair and pair the headphones every time I want to use them, as the left earbud doesn't want to connect all the time anymore. SUPER frustrating, add 20min-30min jiggling with these headphones everytime before a workout or a listen. Not recommended.

Honestly they suck
The sounds and feel of the headphones are overall great. However, the major catch is the headphones never stop charging. So if you were to fully charge the headphone case then put them away for later within the next day or two (without use) the case will be flat again.
Another thing I wish I knew before buying is the left earphone is basically useless. While taking a phone call the sound will only come through the right earphone (this is apparently a safety feature but is just annoying) and you can not listen to the left earphone alone. So whe...

Stay away from Bose, premium price, premium sound, poorly designed products and worst customer service
Used the earphones and the buttons fell off after running out of warranty, a common scenario if you search the web. It is design fault but they would not admit.

Pathetic Battery
Battery life reduced from 1.5 hr to 20 min within 1.5 year...Now it is literally un-usable. Sound quality is good but for a earbud, battery life as important as sound. Probably Bose did not think so...Moreover you can not change the battery ..only solution the customer service have is to get a new one !!!...Sorry not again..

Great batter and more importantly sound quality
I've been using the Bose SoundSport for over 2 years and they've been universally excellent. Battery life has remained good despite almost daily use. Charging is easy with the portable battery case plugging in via USB (so great when traveling as well).
Pairing is very effective and reliable (never had a problem here).
Sound quality is excellent for both podcasts and music. I'm not an audiophile so I'm sure there many be better quality headphones, I'm not sure, but for my purposes they sounded great.
The Bose App is solid, nothing too spectacula...

Great sound and battery life
I treated myself to set of Bide Earbuds last Christmas so have had 8 months of frequent use after a recommendation from a good friend.
They are really good. The sound quality is great. They’re generally comfortable but they do fall out more easily than I like. Probably not good for hard sports. There are 3 sizes of the earpiece S , M & L.
They usually last 1.5 - 2 hrs and will recharge quickly back in the container. I get about 3 charges from a fully charged pack.
For phone calls, only the right piece operates.
Well made in all respects and can fit in yr pocket.

Warning - Consider how you will use before you buy
These headphones have one incredibly significant limitation. They only play telephone call audio and audio prompts through the right ear piece. My primary intention was to use them for phone calls, but only getting sound through the right ear piece makes them annoying for this purpose. This incredibly significant limitation is not noted anywhere on the the main page of the product summary (see link below). I literally bought these to replace my old headphones where the left ear piece was not working. Due to how I purchased them (using cred...
Read moreit card points) I can't return and get a refund - otherwise I really would. I think this will put me off all Bose products going forward because in a lot of ways I feel the way the product is marketed is unethical. As much as I try to avoid being trapped with Apple products, you have to give it to them that they can produce wireless headphones that can play telephone audio in both ears. I have written this review to make others aware so they don't fall into the same trap. Probably OK for music as that somehow manages to play in both ear pieces. https://www.bose.com.au/en_au/products/headphones/earbuds/soundsport-free-wireless.html#v=soundsport_free_wireless_blackPurchased in for $300.
