Went to shop at Marion SA on New Years Eve, waited for staff assistance for a fitting and help with products. Waited 10 min but nobody even looked up to help. I left. Went to Harbourtown on New Years Day and went to other bra shops which one was not open and the other did not have nice products. As a last resort I then decided to try Bras and Things for the last time due to bad experience the day before. I then started looking around as there was only one staff member on. This lovely young girl named Chiara asked if I needed any help and from t...here she assisted me extremely well and very professional. She was great at fitting bras and making you feel comfortable. Whilst she assisted me she was also running around helping others. This young lady is fantastic at her job and an asset to your store otherwise I would never go to bras n things again. Thankyou Chiara you are an asset to this store and I have very comfortable bras.
Staff Seemingly Acting Crazy
I've had a few strange issues with staff in one of your stores. Firstly, I popped in the other day to try on the blue robe and I took the small and medium into the change room. When I came out, the girl actually said to me, "So I'll just ring BOTH of those up for you shall i?" Is that a joke? Does she not realise that you take several sizes in to try on and only buy one product. What do I want with two exactly the same robes and is she working on commission? I would certainly go out of my way to buy online just to avoid paying that woman commis...sion. What if I took two of the same bra in there; would she expect to charge me for all of them? Madness and it was just so insulting! Secondly, not long ago I went in there and a new sales woman gave me one hell of a fright when I saw her face - she was made up literally like a clown. I was trying not to laugh. The make up was so heavy and she had stripes all over her face and the eyes were just like black pits surrounded by layers and layers of makeup. I couldn't believe she would leave the house like that. Admittedly I haven't seen her back in there so maybe she was given the flick. Please hire SENSIBLE girls for your stores. I like the girl who has been there for years, she's always friendly. I do like your website a lot and the sales you have there, but I seem to get at least one email a day from you announcing the latest sale...you seem to forever have the same sale going (either 20% or 30% off)even though it will "end at midnight, get in now". Yet the sale keeps going for another week? No one takes these emails seriously. You need to email a lot less, maybe only twice a week in order to have more impact. Other than that, I enjoy ordering online as the items always arrive quickly.
I have to agree with what other people have written on here. Staff lovely but have no idea how to mesure someone probably. I brought two bras on Saturday and order two in and when I got them on after a few hrs I’ve been in pain. I have always brought from bras and things but I dont think I’ve ever been fitted right. I find the bras are not well made and are over priced. I won’t be shopping there again after I get my full refund. But as I said before staff are lovely but I think it’s not probably trained is the problem.

Poorly made with mistakes
The slip I purchased has was made very cheaply, with loose stitching and the lace detail on the chest area was crooked and uneven! The design is nice but it's such a shame that an item was sold with such an error... I hoped for a better quality for a $49.99 purchase.

Disappointed with Product
Purchased Backseam Stayups (stockings), was assured by retail assistant it would 'stayup'. After wearing it for ten minutes it had slipped down to my knees several times. $19.99 should have been spent elsewhere. Don't waste your money with this product.
great customer service
working in a customer service industry i know how quick people are to complain so want to take time out to praise the 2 staff members at the Gateways Store. Unfortunately i didn't get the name of young lady that served me but she was extremely considerate, polite & helpful without being intrusive or pushy. They greeted me when i walked in but were happy for me to browse until i was ready for assistance which is what i like. She made me feel very comfortable & knew exactly the most suited style to my somewhat larger frame. She went out of her ...way to make sure I walked out of there satisfied & i did as i only intended to buy 1 bra but ended up buying 2 as i was very happy with the choice i made with their help & colour so got one in each colour.
I went to the store in Mirrabooka for the first time today and was absolutely satisfied. A special thanks to Teigan who never once made me feel uncomfortable or awkward, and let me keep many options open, remaining understanding and supportive. She got my sizing perfect and I'm definitely going back again soon. Couldn't be more thrilled!
I would like to compliment Natalie at Fountain Gate Bras n Things for the service she gave me on Queens Birthday weekend in finding the right sports bra for me. After sizing me and trying different styles she went out of her way to phone a another store to hold a bra for me that was the size I needed which FG were out of stock. Thank you.
Took my daughter to Bras N Things in MacArthur Square. There are literally no other options in this area to buy bras for young girls otherwise I wouldn’t ever go here. The staff are lovely but they have no idea what they are doing. The young girl “measured’ my daughter and then came out to get a bra. While doing so she told me how the measuring process “isn’t very accurate” Say what? ...I don’t blame the girl . I think this comes down to the minimalist training these girls are given by the BrasN Things company.. Over the years I have been fitt...ed for bras in lingerie stores and there is lot more that goes into the training of someone to fit a bra than handing her a measuring tape. When you have someone who is properly trained they give you confidence that you are going to leave the store with something that is properly fitted, and a properly fitted bra is very important at all ages. Where as we left Bras n Things thinking ok I guess that one will do. We have been in this store on two separate occasions and been fitted by 2 different girls, both lovely but the same experience of very limited understanding of how to measure and fit a bra. I have no doubt the girls at bras n things are “trained” just not trained very well. The products themselves are cheaply made and over priced. Bras N things needs to put a bit more into training and support (pardon the pun) of its staff if they claim to be providing Bra Fitttings. As I said earlier the staff are lovely and very helpful they just need better training in how to fit a bra. It seems to me the company like to provide the illusion that they are giving you a fitting without actually giving a proper fitting Lift your game BrasN Things. Having a market monopoly you should have plenty of money to invest in your staff
Bought a fleece robe as a gift at the Cockburn Gateway store. Girl at the counter stuffed it into a small paper bag. I asked for a larger bag, she pulled out a plastic bag and literally scrunched up the item and stuffed it into the bag. I’ve bought items at brasnthings before and never have I had any purchase packaged so poorly. Half a mind to return the item and buy something else from some other store.
Third time got it right!
So went to the Rockingham store to get properly fitted as I've had 3 children so wanted some comfortable bras that didn't dig into my rib cage and I could wear all day. Well after being in there for a good 45min I walked out with two that seemed comfy when your tried them on for 5min, however after wearing them they did exactly everything I didn't want! I brought them back and got a different lady, she measured me up again and gave me two different ones which were even worse, one was way too small to wear and I told her that in the dressing room and she said after a while it'll stretch so you'll be fine!
Best customer service!
I would like to thank Bonnie from the Highpoint store, for her genuine helpfulness and impeccable customer service. This is sadly hard to come by these days, I literally left the store with my purchases with a big fat smile on my face! She appears to be a model employee and I hope she receives the praise she deserves.
Right down to introducing herself and using my name through the fitting, while also helping at least 3 other ladies! Thanks again!
Bad customer service
Although I was measured I know I am a 16C. She gave me size 14D. I told her the bra is too tight and that at the side I was spilling out. Her reply was that the cup was correct. I then said I should not look like this from the side. Please get in store larger size bras. If you purchase a bra that is toooooo small around you, you can not breath correctly or feel comfortable. There should be no spilliage anywhere. I then went to Target and got great assistance.
Appreciation for a girl assistant josie
I would like to thank josie in bras n things who is working at hobart city shop for her lovely help for getting the right bra size for me. Josie was so helpful and smiley all the time she is really professional in her job and knows what she is doing
I even returned back one week later to buy more because of her help.
Thank you so much josie for your lovely help
Questions & Answers
I recently bought 2 bras at $79 each. The girl fitted me and insisted she'd told me the right cup size, despite them being 3 cup sizes higher than I'd ever used. Now, everytime i wear them, I'm annoyed because they're clearly way too big. I can fit over a fist and a half into the cup as well... So they're not supportive at all. Do I have any right to return these, over a month or so later?
I recently had a clean out and found 2 purchases I made 2yrs ago. Items have never been worn and still have the tags attatched. I do not have the receipt but I have my bank transactions that show the purchase. Am I able to get a refund if I take it into my local store?
