Love the machine, disappointed with the customer service department though
Purchased the juicer 14 months ago. I noticed a fault in the mesh part of the filter 3-4 months ago and I realise I should have addressed the issue at that point however I failed to do so until last week. I contacted the customer service centre to discuss the problem and they were completely disinterested and told me the juicer was out of warranty! After thinking about it for a short time I called the customer service centre a second time and purely because I told them I was dissatisfied with their initial reaction they told me to take the fil...ter to one of their service centres and the bloke would have a look at it and replace the item if he felt that appropriate. Although he agreed with me in relation to the faulty filter he said because it was out of warranty all he could do was take some photos, forward them to Breville and hopefully someone would be in touch with me. Still waiting, very disappointed. A rather expensive machine and now I could be up for a further $100 or so to replace the file and it's only 14 months old. I don't think that is fair nor reasonable!

Breville Juicer BJE 520 electronic speed dial will not go to any setting other than 1. This started happening a week ago with no other signs of problem. Has anyone else had this issue
