Careless service
After the wheel alignment they always taken 2 wheels nuts bush . When i asked they are saying 2 bush is enough to hold wheel cup and they thrown in to the bin. Bush is not costly but it shows quality of service. Bridgestone giving franchise to all service sation without minimum standard.

Long life tyre 205/70/15
I have had these on the Forester for over 4 years, done 70000km on them, which is the best I have had from any tyre so far on this car. As they became more worn they were noisier, but not too bad. Unfortunately with the long life there was the disadvantage of poor road holding on wet roads, have to be very careful not to slide on the winding hilly roads.

Waste of money
After using the 693's for years I decided to try the 697's on my 2010 Ranger, am at 24000 k's now and I'll be lucky to get to 30000, after averaging 60-70000 with the others I certainly will not bother with the 697's again which is a shame because they handled quite well and have been very quiet the whole time

good to start
These tyres were quiet, comfortable and looked good to start off with now they are half worn they are as noisey as muddys only done roughly 40,000km. We're good in the snow when new and ride well on the beach. hankook dynapros have very good reviews for a similar price. 265/70/17
265/70/16R, Decent tyre, not great
Had these on for 30,000kms, have found them to be surprisingly good with the little bit of off-roading I've done, no punctures or major chunks out after decent trips on gravel and stone tracks, even performed better than I expected in the mud for an AT. On the road in the dry they feel nice and secure and I haven't noticed the road noise being overly loud.
The big issue I have found with them is they perform terrible on the bitumen in the wet. Living on a mountain driving up or down it once the road sees even some slight dampness is nearly cau...
My 2013 Nissan Navara 4x4 Duel Cab came with Bridgestone Dueller A/T 265/70R16 112S 693
I live in a small town in central Queensland. I purchased the new vehicles in October 2013 and have done 43,400 Klm. All original tyres are due to be replaced. I have never rotated the tyres, only ever checking their pressure every few months. Operated between 36 and 40 PSI constantly. I have traveled on roughly graded dirt roads for less than 2,000 klm & 4WD tracks at low speed for less than 500Klm. The remaining kilometers has been on country bitumen. I have never driven hard or done burnouts. I want and expect a tyre to last in exces...
Read mores of 60,000klm. So,I am not happy with running these tyres again. I am presently researching other brands an reviews particularly to gain a better understanding of the type of tyre I should try next. I believe due to the bitumen conditions in Queensland country I should stay with an A/T (All Terrain) tyre with a harder compound. I also only do less than 10% off-road,so I do not need to seek excessive ply in the tread or tyre wall, however, do need to find a strength suitable to handle the rough edges and frequent pot-holes in our major roads. I'm pricing the Maxxis & Coopers A/T 265/70R16's and reading reviews before I make up my mind. Always willing to hear from anyone who have done the kilometers (not interested in those comments about just done 15,000 and think 75% tread left , so expect great thing...Blah Blah Blah...As I also thought that at 15,000 however it has sadly not turned out that way. Anyhow just got a call about Micky Thompson's and will check those out as well. Hopefully my next review will be a positive 80,000Klm + review. The same Bridgestone provider that called me also quoted replacement vale of the Bridgestone Dueller A/T 265/70R16 112S 697 aat $944 per set fitted & balanced. That makes my cost approximately $228.57 per 10,000Klm's. Something to work on.JoemHamilton, NZ

poor wet performance
I had very bad driving experience on wet road, fish tailing, cant controll, every one in the car get scared. I had Goodyear Efficient grip SUV tires earlier and they were much better to drive. Never again buy Dueler 697. Not worried about noice if they perform well for a safe drive.
Worst tyre I have ever encounted
Went with the 697's after doing some homework but after 40 thou k's and after doing a rotation every 5,000 k at a small cost of $35 to $40 which now added the price of another tyre they will be flat out doing another 10 thou. I can say I am disgusted and would not buy another 697, I'm going back to BF's, far better tyre and cheaper, I paid $305 for the 697's, bad call.

Money Wastedsomewhere in the world of regret
Noisy & Terrible on all surfaces
I bought a set of 697's for my Toyota (265/65/17) as a hurried last minute purchase and I regret that I didn't go Cooper or MT's. They started off very quiet for the first 1,000kms and then they have become Noisy as Hell. They are absolutely hopeless in the mud, useless on sand and slippery on wet bitumen. The set of 697's that came with the car when purchased, were replaced due to a missing lug and I have since seen and heard of another 3 x 697's that have done the same. I'm annoyed that I wasted my money on these! I rotate every 5,000kms and ...

I would urge anyone thinking of buying these tyres to look elsewhere as there are much better quality & brand out there. Don't be fooled by the Bridgestone name. Tyres out of round
Purchased a set of 267/75/16 LT 697s drove out of Bridgestone tyre dealer the steering was going all over the place took it back for another wheel balance after that it was no different they eventually replaced two tyres .they said everything was right . Drove away again down highway around 90ks it started to shake again . So they replaced the other tyres so there is obviously a problem with some 697s
30K and worn down
Replaced my HT 265/65R17 which did 79K on road and dirt with D697 Dueller. 30K later and looking at another set of tyres. Did not change driving habits, but tyres on rear of Pajero down to 2mm mark!!. And the noise is bad. No noise when new, but turning up the radio helps when I drive now. Disappointing, as they look good and fill me with confidence out there in Oz.
Noise from tyres unreal
I bought these tyres for my Pajero and stored the originals for later (about half wornBridgestoneH/Ts) I staked one H/T tyre and decided to go for a higher ply rating of 8 in the A/T range. To start they were a harder ride and a little noisier but O.K. for tripping around Oz. But as these tyres started to wear the noise level increased, going around a roundabout I was sure I'd done a wheel bearing and over time it just got louder. I kept checking the hubs for heat but they were all about the same front to back so I ruled out bearings.
But ...
Read morein the end I had the car checked twice by Mitsubishi who were very nice about the whole thing and didn't even charge me and they found no problem anywere with my vehicle. They suspected it may be the tyres so all I wanted to do was wear them out and move on. In the end I was so sick of the noise and the worry, I put the original H/Ts back on just to make sure it wasn't mechanical. It was like geting into a new car. The wear on the A/T was good but it was not a tyre for Hard roads, I still have them they have more than 1/2 tread, I will put on again but only for a long 4x4 trip not every day use. I am looking at replacing my H/Ts for Yokohama Geolander ATS or HTS for every day. Has anybody any feed back on these tyres.Ken YBunbury

To noisy
I have Dueler HL 235/60 R17 102H 683. The noise is worse than a collapse bearing. Never again. The dealer is not interested and the mechanic says no bearing problems. Done 18000k but have to go

I was expecting a bit more from this tyre 205 70 15
As per title, I was expecting a bit more from this tyre. Purchased 10k km ago, wear ok but don't handle very well in wet conditions.
The compound feels soft therefore I don't understand why it doesn't do a good job in the rain.
I check periodically the pressure to make sure is exactly as per dealer's advice.
October 2018 update
After only 4 years and half and 40,000km the tyre needs to be changed. I couldn't believe to what my eyes were seeing.
They reached the roadworthy mark now. So I can confirm that the wear is very poor.
They are f...

Worst A/T's I have had..
They look good and seem to grip well but the ride is harsh and the noise they make is atrocious... I thought I had wheel bearing problems on the wifes Rav, took it to a Mechanic and he said it was the tyres!. These 697's had only done 15k? I changed them and the difference was amazing, like a new car. Problem is I had earlier put a set on my Amarok and now they have the same horrible noises. I am getting rid of them today, anyone want 265/65R17's with only 12,000klms on them? $50 each and they're yours.
Looks
Noisy, harsh wears quickly
worst tire I've had
I've had these on my dual cab for 18mths done 32, 000km. Worst tires, terrible off road, collects mud, looses traction on gravel/dirt. Wet road any speed over 30km going around bends looses traction. Need new tires already considering ive only been off road 3 times.
Will not buy again don't feel safe.
Basic off road ability was lacking, tread wear too quick on road

I agree, these things are horrible in the wet. I'm able to lose traction on all 4 wheels without even trying.
