Great customer service when it matters
The Brosa team helped us set up our holiday house when most companies weren't able to deliver. They were professional, polite and their design choices really my expectations. We had a few hiccups with a few items. This is when Brosa's customer service really stood out. The team communicated promptly, listened to the issues, identified a solution and helped us get on track as quickly as possible. This was much more than a 'buying' experience, they actually cared about us as a customer. Special thanks to Sarah and Bree.
Absolutely shocking experience
Shame on you Brosa, I have not ordered any items that was full in price at the time of my order all item that I got were advertised 20% of full price .
I have called Brosa first to enquire about product - Marie dining chairs at that time they were 25% of the original price on Brosa website .
As have not received response from Brosa stylist , have called and that officer have sent me pictures of Marie dining chairs to see re wired bruch legs, by then Marie dining chair on your website went from 25% of the original pr...ice to 20% discount Then I called back and emailed as wanted to make order and have asked if Brosa would honour 25% discount for Marie dining chairs and they said they will, I said that I would like to pay direct deposit for my order as do not have large amount on credit card. At the time of my order all of the item that I ordered had 20% discount from original price so I have ordered those with that discount ( marie chairs had 20% but Brosa gave me 25% )
Faulty goods - no refund
Purchased a sofa for $1199 - it took 6 months to deliver and after a few months of light use (we are not big people) the back has broken with wooden splinters poking through the fabric at the back. After a week of being ignored when enquiring about warranty and refund we have now been offered a $180 refund or the possibility of a replacement in 6 months time. How about a sofa that doesn’t fall apart? So all in all this has been a disaster of a purchase. Just avoid them.
I don’t know if you can see the photo of the couch we bought from brosa but that is about 2 minutes after getting it out of the box. It looks like it’s been used for about a year, absolutely poor to say the least. We immediately contacted them as the stitching on both seat covers was coming out and the chaise cushion looked second hand, all they said was it was pilling, even though we sent them photos. After many emails they agreed to send replacement covers (at a 13 week wait) or have a refund, no mention of the chaise cushion replacement. We ...are now in the process of the return and are having trouble because we are in Tasmania. I would like to add when we ordered the sofa, because it was coming to Tasmania we called them many times and put in our original notes for Brosa to tape a forwarding address on the boxes. No address was put on the boxes so they were nearly lost at the warehouse they were dropped off at. Brosa…? Never again. ..!
Gorgeous furniture, poor quality on sofa and extremely poor customer service and warranty care.
I absolutely love Brosa furniture overall. I also loved the amazing delivery service and how easy it all was to purchase my furniture. The quality of most of the pieces I’ve purchased has been great. I’ve purchased several things for our new home and overall I’m happy with the way they look and the quality.
However sadly the fabric Madeline chesterfield sofa that we purchased less then 2 years ago has faded so much that the colour of the sofa has gone from being brown to a reddish colour all over. It has never been in direct sunlight either. ...I lodged a warranty claim and sadly I needed to follow up my claim repeatedly as no one ever got back to me. In the end they’ve said it’s normal wear and tear. I’ve purchased many sofas in the past and never have I had one discolour and look so bad. I’m extremely disappointed in the after care service and the the way my warranty claim has been handled and very disappointed that they have no desire whatsoever to help me.
I bought a three seated Camden Chesterfield last year (22/09/2020). After a couple of months, the cushion cover started to pill. I ignored it at first but then it got worse. I contacted Brosa and filled the part request form on 27/07/2021, they were supposed to get back to my enquiry within 2 business days, still, no responses were received from Brosa. Yesterday, I decided to wash the cushion covers in the washing machine. The result was devastating. The fabric is torn from some corners on 2 of the covers and is not usable anymore. I am very disappointed with the quality of the fabric and won't recommend this product.
Brosa Amelia Armchair Sags
We purchased the Amelia Armchair online and it sags terribly and is very uncomfortable. We have tried calling Brosa customer service and can never get through. We have also sent multiple emails to support with no response. After care and customer service is absolutely terrible at Brosa. What good is a warranty if Brosa completely ignore customers once the purchase is done!
We also purchased the Mila 3 seater and that sofa is fantastic! So if your happy with your purchase Brosa can be great. However if your product is faulty expect to be put through the ringer. It’s been over a month and we are still waiting for a response re: warranty.
New damaged sofa delivered on the 26 June - Terrible customer support services
I had purchased the Mila 3-Seater Sofa on 19/06/2021 which has been delivered on 26/06/2021, however, the one we were provided with has been damaged. I had reached out to customer support with the relevant photo evidence (attached) as soon as it was delivered to sort out an exchange where I had asked for the new replacement to be inspected before delivery. The customer support had confirmed with me that the replacement will be checked and how the warehouse team will be reaching out to sort out the exchange.
As I had not heard back from the war...ehouse team for a week or so, I had reached out to confirm if this exchange was still taking place. The customer support had advised that they are checking in on it but have no further updates. I had asked to speak to the manager as the representative I was speaking to had let me know that there was nothing else they could further do to assist. They advised that I be contacted in the next 24-48 hours (I assumed 2 business days as this was on a Thursday). The 2 business days had come and I had not been contacted to sort this issue. I would never buy or recommend anyone to purchase furniture from BROSA again.
Terrible Product Support Services
I’ve placed 2 orders with Brosa. I’m nervously waiting for my second order to arrive and have had nothing but problems with my first order. An item replaced twice - communication response times were terrible & I had to do all the follow up to get a resolution - still not perfect however rectified. Since placing my second order, I recently had to contact Brosa about a broken hinge on the second item from the first order and received an automated email saying their support function was extremely busy (that’s a red flag in itself) & that their ...response time will be up to 2 weeks. In my opinion, this is unacceptable & Brosa does not come close to other major online retailers in relation to service and after sales care. I did what I thought was the right thing, I provided direct feedback (low rating & specific feedback) after receiving an email from ‘David W’ from Brosa - no follow up or response received after being invited to offer feedback. With regards to my broken Brosa item, I’m still waiting to hear something from someone 15 days later (longer than they indicated would be my wait time)...
Very poor service experience
Purchased Meggs Sideboard in December, promised a 5 week delivery, took about 10 weeks plus 2 week delivery schedule. It turned out to be faulty with a crack.
2nd try, after a couple of followups it was replaced in Feb with another piece with damages and poor quality compared to the first one.
Third time lucky?? Not yet..
Its been almost 4 weeks, raising this issue with customer service and not even one email or response from Brosa. Have sent about 10 emails, submitted feedback on bad follow to CoFounder with still no luck.

I was delivered a couch with faulty parts. After emailing and calling several times I was informed I was not assembly it correctly. 4 weeks later Brosa with admitted that the fault was on their part. Their customer service was extremely unresponsive and I had to chase them up repeatedly. After 4 weeks of using the faulty item and hours emailing and calling, I was offered a 100 refund .... they managed to mess this up to and yet again I had to call to request they follow through with this.
7 weeks later I am still using a faulty couch with no ...legs. I was informed that the part would arrive a week ago and that their team would deliver and assemble it. Yet again I have had to chase them up to resolve this and was finally informed that the part has been sent via post and they have failed to follow through their assurance that they would deliver a part with a team to fix the couch. This has been beyond appalling. I have never written a review in my life but this experience truly warrants taking the time to warn other consumers. Don't do it
Item received damaged
Ordered small marble top side/lamp table. Insufficiently packed - perhaps by manufacturer. Item received damaged upon opening. Warranty claim lodged. Failed to respond to warranty claim for 2 weeks despite claim of a 2 business day response. Ultimately negotiated a 20% refund.
Appalling After Sales Customer Service
I placed an order and waited three weeks for delivery. Item was large but well packed in a cardboard box. On opening box the top of the entertaining unit was smashed. We saw it was stored in delivery truck on it's end (where smashed). Immediately reported damage to Brosa and at first requested replacement as I paid the extra money for the purchase guarantee (waste of money). I wrote three emails, no response to any of them. After a week rang the company, fobbed off. Finally received an email response providing three options, but by this time...I requested a full refund (due to lack of customer service to that point) and collection of damaged cabinet. That was over two weeks ago and several more emails requesting update on where my refund is. No response received. The after sales service is appalling and significantly lacking (there is none). I would never deal with them again. Very disappointing as their products appear stylish.
Few hiccups, but happy with the furniture
In the last 6 months, I’ve purchased over 10 items from BROSA to furnish my new home.
First, the ‘hiccups’:
Most of the items took slightly longer to arrive than the estimated delivery timeframes - this was addressed in an email from BROSA saying some of their supply lines had been affected by COVID - not a big deal. The bigger issue occurred when the first two items eventually arrived: both couldn’t be assembled due to misaligned drill holes. After a bit of back-and-forth with BROSA Email Support, they promptly ordered replacements and offer...
Absolutely Dreadful Service and Faulty Product
I cannot believe the incredibly poor-quality product, communication and customer service from this company! The worst furniture buying experience that I have ever had.
First delivery: They deliver out a poor-quality faulty bookcase (taking 3 hours to assemble). They then proceed to tell me that they can’t let me know when it would be changed over until Monday (this is Friday afternoon, no one works one weekends there apparently) The next thing I'm getting a text message about delivering to me on the Saturday morning? When I happen to be out. I...replied to the text message N and advised that Monday would be a better day. That should be the end of it right? But no its not….. I then start to get text messages about a delivery being on the way this morning? I respond to those messages (as I am not home) but the responses go ignored and they end up turning up at my house and trying to call me several times while I am out at lunch. I ignore the calls. And finally, hours after their botched unscheduled delivery, I receive a text from them asking if I was available today?? No acknowledgment of the responses I had already sent or apologies for booking in a delivery without any form of consultation or contact with me. Finally managed to book another delivery to have the faulty bookcase replaced. Second delivery: The delivery guys turn up talking about trying to repair the original one delivered? Not physically possible and not discussed as an option at all with me prior to them turning up. Just more waste of my time. The original fault (delivery 1) constituted a major failure of the product under consumer law and thus, I, as the customer am able to determine what remedy is appropriate. Not Brosa. They finally understand that it can't be repaired and get started on assembling the replacement product. They advise me about 10 minutes in that their drill doesn’t have any charge and ask me if I have a power drill they can use? Ummm, no I don’t. Three hours later they finally bring in the replacement. And guess what???? It's FAULTY too!! This is despite being promised that they would check this one prior to delivering it out and me asking the delivery guys on the day to check it before they got too far along the assembly process. I end up speaking to them that afternoon, not helpful at all, only to be told that there is nothing they can do as they have nothing to be able to replace it with! She offered a refund for the other two pieces of furniture in the lounge that were also delivered last Friday (They were all ordered to match), but can do nothing for me about the other pieces of the same range that I had delivered last year? It was all ordered to match and ordered in good faith. She also hung up on me without providing her name when she was asked and I was requesting to speak with her manager.

If only I’d read reviews before ordering and PAYING for my Bedhead from Brosa!!!
Ordered in October 2021 along with an Ottoman. Both promised as in store and delivered within a couple of weeks. Ottoman arrived December and lovely. Bedhead… NOTHING!!!! January 14 2022 still nothing. Told collected by Deliverer from Warehouse in a note by email, 4 weeks ago and that I would be contacted!

My Question Is: How can some customers give glowing FIVE star reports and others ONE star? No one has chosen stars in between! Quality is not an issue. ALL complaints, too numerous to count, relate to LACK of DELIVERY!!!!! HELP ME.

I suggest you wait till at least February. Brosa is closed now and you'll deal with their call centre in the Philippines. They and their courier ANC are in total chaos. You have 21 days to change your mind. Pay with credit card too. I didn't have a pleasant experience with them and will get my ottoman delivered 6 weeks after ordering! It's all too stressful now, try them later.
We recently had to set up an apartment 2 days before Christmas. We were travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne and were only in Melbourne for 4 days, including Christmas Day. We only had one day for deliveries. They were great and the quality of the furniture is awesome.
The live chat was extremely helpful
And chased up delivery information etc for us. We chose products they had in stock
So that helped. We didn't have any complaints. The products were exactly as described.

Why does BROSA require full payment upfront if they cannot guarantee delivery times? Other furniture companies in Australia who sell items manufactured overseas take a down payment and require the remainder only when the item is in the ware house in Australia. Seems only fair, so why not BROSA?
