16 weeks wait for 3 chairs
I ordered 3 bar stools and was told they should arrive in 16 weeks. Are you kidding me. 7 weeks later we have zero chairs to sit on and every time I enquire about the progress I get a snooty remark. Ridiculous wait for 3 items!!! Never order from them again!!
Absolutely Dreadful Service and Faulty Product
I cannot believe the incredibly poor-quality product, communication and customer service from this company! The worst furniture buying experience that I have ever had.
First delivery: They deliver out a poor-quality faulty bookcase (taking 3 hours to assemble). They then proceed to tell me that they can’t let me know when it would be changed over until Monday (this is Friday afternoon, no one works one weekends there apparently) The next thing I'm getting a text message about delivering to me on the Saturday morning? When I happen to be out. I...replied to the text message N and advised that Monday would be a better day. That should be the end of it right? But no its not….. I then start to get text messages about a delivery being on the way this morning? I respond to those messages (as I am not home) but the responses go ignored and they end up turning up at my house and trying to call me several times while I am out at lunch. I ignore the calls. And finally, hours after their botched unscheduled delivery, I receive a text from them asking if I was available today?? No acknowledgment of the responses I had already sent or apologies for booking in a delivery without any form of consultation or contact with me. Finally managed to book another delivery to have the faulty bookcase replaced. Second delivery: The delivery guys turn up talking about trying to repair the original one delivered? Not physically possible and not discussed as an option at all with me prior to them turning up. Just more waste of my time. The original fault (delivery 1) constituted a major failure of the product under consumer law and thus, I, as the customer am able to determine what remedy is appropriate. Not Brosa. They finally understand that it can't be repaired and get started on assembling the replacement product. They advise me about 10 minutes in that their drill doesn’t have any charge and ask me if I have a power drill they can use? Ummm, no I don’t. Three hours later they finally bring in the replacement. And guess what???? It's FAULTY too!! This is despite being promised that they would check this one prior to delivering it out and me asking the delivery guys on the day to check it before they got too far along the assembly process. I end up speaking to them that afternoon, not helpful at all, only to be told that there is nothing they can do as they have nothing to be able to replace it with! She offered a refund for the other two pieces of furniture in the lounge that were also delivered last Friday (They were all ordered to match), but can do nothing for me about the other pieces of the same range that I had delivered last year? It was all ordered to match and ordered in good faith. She also hung up on me without providing her name when she was asked and I was requesting to speak with her manager.
We love the sofa. Just some minor problem.
Bought an Austin Sofa bed from Brosa. It looks very nice and the sofa looks very firm. We’ve decided to buy it in no time. For the first delivery, it was delivered in 2 different shade. ( there are 2 parts) ( it’s probably because of the product label was wrong at the first place)
Customer services was great and delivery took exactly just one week ( which is quick).
Received the Sofa yesterday and we love it! However, we found that when we open the extension of the sofa bed, if someone sit on it, it collapsed and we were quite shocked.

Great stools, perfect height and colour is fantastic as per photos online! Amazing, well worth the wait! It was a long wait as I had ordered a very specific colour! But looove the new stools
Good product and quality but quite small
The tv cabinet looks nice, it was easy to put together. Good quality and fast delivery from supplier. It looks very small though would only suit a very small space.
Great Dining Room Chairs
We purchased 8 chairs from the website as we had already seen the chairs at our son's house so knew they were what we wanted. Sadly the quality control in the manufacturing let them down. One chair we could not fit the legs, after a number of emails a new set of chairs was delivered. Surprise, surprise, one of the chairs did not have the screw fittings in the back so we could not fit the seat to the back. Once all correct we ended up with 8 very comfortable and lovely looking chairs. The website was great and easy to use, good pictures and descriptions. The customer service was good.
Only buy if you are willing to wait for longer than the website states..
We were originally stoked with our purchase of Brosa's Como modular sofa 1 month ago (17/05/2020). The customer service in-store was excellent and their prices for the quality offered was very competitive.
However, the progress since then has been nothing short of exasperating and disappointing. We are now in a new house with no sofa for the living room and no end in sight.
When we first purchased the sofa, the delivery timeframe was 2-3 weeks and this seemed like a reasonable time for us to wait.
1 week later, the delivery timeframe changed...to 4-6 weeks. When we called the customer hotline, they assured us that it would definitely not be longer than 4-6 weeks and they would inform us as soon as it arrived. 2 weeks later, the delivery timeframe changed to 6-8 weeks. When we called the customer hotline again, they now stated they could not give us any assurances of timeframe. Moreover, they denied ever speaking to us previously because "they did not have any notes in the system".
Poor quality control
Purchased a chair from Brosa in beginning December 2019 , waited 5 months for delivery( Up from 12 weeks ) then COVID hit- All up 6 months later my chair arrives - absolutely filthy with 5 stains over that which l unpacked. Closed box and requested an in stock chair to avoid poor quality control and long waiting again. Upgraded Paying extra for another chair , wait another two weeks for pick up of first chair and delivery Of next chair to arrive . Open box and pull small piece of packaging to find a number of what looked like oil stains over the velvet material. Shocked and so disappointed- requested refund and gave feedback. Never again.
We called into the Brosa SYDNEY store without an appointment - we didn’t know we needed one - but they were very welcoming and showed us textile samples since there were no actual Maki sofa beds on the floor. The on line ordering is painless and the delivery a couple of weeks later was equally painless. The guys were most helpful and helped us to stow our new sofa bed into the car. At home our 4 year old grandson was able to help screw the legs into the bed. Too easy.
6 MONTHS ... The expected time frame !
I purchased all our products through the sales lady at the Brisbane store. When considering to order products all together, we were advised to do so to ensure colour of products were in the same batch. (Late realising this wasn't ever going to be the case...)
When purchased I was asked when I would like the products (advised when keys to new house in the next 3 months ) the lady advised no issues and to expect mid March to early April at latest. However when calling around March to ask for an ETA and happy to recieve from early April. Custom...er service advised not expected until early June. Disappointed to find the item I was waiting for / single bar stool... (Even though a request for them to arrive altogether due to advice of batches with colour variation...) Disappointed that I am waiting on one bar stool to complete my order and expected time of this one product is six months from request. When I advised for the order to be made together for colour variation , the sales rep advised this had been organised. Obviously this wasn't as still the one bar stool to be delivered... (Weird to think they re made 2 and not the third altogether.) Recommended if you aren't in any rush to recieve your goods! Can't believe my house was built before 1 bar stool!!!! When organisation of the delivery and times requested. I asked for a morning delivery due to work. (Another request missed in this whole transaction) with also products added for delivering even when requested bar stools to arrive together (to avoid nil issues with returning if colours didn't match. ) Not my ideal place to purchase from would recommend a diy your own furniture given time frames your working with !
Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable and firm
I bought the Siesta 3 Seater Sofa bed, it looks great and is not too bad as seating but it is extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The website lists this item as 'snug' not too soft, but not too firm, however it is very firm and painful to lay on. It is disappointing as if I knew it was actually firm not snug, I would not have purchased this. Waste of money!
Do Not Buy From Here - Terrible Customer Service And Substandard Products
I ordered the Marlon Bedside Tables and Sideboard and the delivery was delayed multiple times - it took 6 months for them to arrive.
When they finally received them they were nothing like the pictures - they were very chunky and clunky. To say they were 'rustic' would be an understatement. They felt like they came out of a cheap balinese workshop, not the clean lines that are in the pictures. It is not Modern nor Contemporary as described.
The customer service I then received was nothing short of disgraceful. The day the return was due to...be picked up our daughter was rushed to hospital in an ambulance with a medical emergency and BROSA gave me no assistance to re-book the collection - they basically left me to make calls to their courier service for hours on end whilst in the hospital with my daughter. After all that they then tried to short change me on the refund and I have no option but to lodge a complaint with Fair Trading. Disgraceful. Do not purchase.
Happy with product
Well made and looks good. Comfortable seat, but the edge of back rest is a little pokey when you sit back. Overall, does the job and has a small enough footprint for our space.
Faulty and missing items.
Look at photos for faulty items and quality. Rethink your order before buying from here. There are definitely many fake reviews.
I have left a previous review on Brosa which stated that i was sent faulty office chairs and it took another month to send me new ones. however i was just sent my new replacements after a month waiting and one of them is faulty with massive blue marks on them. I am also missing both parts for the legs of the chairs. I specifically asked them to check my new replacements for any marks. spoke to brosa who said it will ...take another 5-7 weeks to get new replacements sent out. I ordered these chairs in December 2019. During this time waiting for my chairs my sofa was delivered from brosa and it came faulty. There was a huge mark on the right side and thread pulls throughout. It is taking another two weeks to get my new couch delivered. will update if the new couch is faulty. This company is an absolute joke with bad customer service and horrible product. If they spent less time advertising fake good quality products and more time on actually making good products i would shop here again.
Good value for money!
Very happy with the product - quality was overall good at a reasonable price as I got it on sale. Delivery was relatively quick taking 3 weeks to reach Tasmania. Happy to buy from this store again!
Worst customer service - be careful
After three attempts to deliver the wrong table, the right one was delivered damaged. They backed their truck into my fence and damaged it of which they are telling me it happened before they arrived.
My Chairs for the table are now being delivered over 4 months away. End product is quite disappointing. I would stay away from this company. The service is appalling. They don’t attempt to even admit what terrible things they have done.

When ordered the chair was pictured with stoppers on the rockers to limit how far it would tip. Without the stoppers the chair rocks to far back and feels unsafe and scary which makes for an uncomfortable experience. As the chair in the add is pictured with stoppers, when the chair arrived without stoppers, we requested that they be supplied. We were told that they would be sent as they are in the assembly instructions if they were out of stock but would be sent when available. An email arrived today to say they had been advised by the maker st...oppers were not supplied with the Billie Jean rocker and the website images were incorrect. As they are clearly visible on the website they should be supplied with the chair. without the stoppers we will probably get rid of the chair as my wife feels unsafe in it.
Awesome team in Fitzroy showroom, but terrible product and after-sales experience
Awesome team in the Fitzroy showroom. Great quality furniture for the price! Biggest let down was the muck around with a confirmed delivery being cancelled without any contact, essentially wasting an entire day waiting. Online customer service didn't help the situation by twice confirming the delivery when we suspected it wasn't coming, only to be informed at the end of the day that the items were not going to be delivered for a further month. Disappointing delivery experience after a great showroom experience.

I’ll never purchase again
Arranging delivery was difficult. Due to a weather event original delivery had to be rescheduled. Calls were unanswered and messages left unreturned. When delivery eventually did happen I had to have someone else receive on my behalf. I received a text that delivery would occur and that was it. The chairs were delivered and the drivers left. When I got home the chairs were not suitable and as per the return policy I filled out the online form immediately. I also advised that the drivers had not left the packaging. I received a reply stating Br...osa would not accept a return without original packaging and Brosa would only refund 50%. At NO STAGE during delivery did I request that the drivers take the packaging nor was I contacted by the drivers or BROSA to enquire about the removal of the packaging. When I requested contact details to arrange alternative packaging so the items could be returned, I was refused. Never again.
My Brosa bed broke while moving interstate. The removalists broke one bed leg and lost the others. I contacted Brosa to purchase new bed legs and they refused to sell me replacement bed legs even though they still sell the bed and it is a common / basic part. This means I've had to purchase a whole new bed.
Terrible experience from Brosa Furniture
So disappoint with their customer service, if you can't do the delivery on time, please you should never promise your customer. Bought the few furniture from Brosa Melbourne store 08/12/2019. [name removed] was the Sales did the service to us. My wife saw a good looking and better size dining table for our current one. Then we decided to buy this table and sell our old one, if they could delivery before this Christmas. [name removed] told us it would take 2 weeks for the delivery, and definitely before Christmas, so I paid about 4000 dollars fo...r the whole order. Then sold the very low price for my old dining table set throughout facebook maket in two days. I have wait one and half week there is no one contact me about the delivery. sot I called [name removed] to ask about the delivery time. Then he said unfortunately somehow they can't do the delivery before Christmas, I was so sad and angry, because that means when my parents visit us in the Christmas period, we have no any dinning table can sit when we have dine and even can't invite my friends for the Christmas party. After that I have received an email from [name removed] said I should get my dinning table on 28/12/2019. But till today I did not have any further update from them, so I called the store this afternoon, a female sales said the current delivery update is due on 09/01/2020. And in the boxing day sale they have more discount than I brought early. Feel very upset for their service, No one follow up my order after I paid the order. They don't care what the customer thinking and feeling. They just want to sell the item and make money!!! This is what I am thinking after I had this terrible experience. My order is r060762672.
Quality and craftsmanship is perfect
Great range of products. I found exactly what I wanted and the quality and craftsmanship is excellent. Beautiful pieces that add style to my room. The order tracking was helpful, and the delivery guys assembled and took away the boxes and packaging. It was a great service.
Just what I was after
These stools will go against our island bench which has wood veneer panelling. I wanted something which would blend in, rather than stand out in contrast, and which would be comfortable and sturdy. These were just the ticket. We will replace the plastic chair glides on the legs with felt, though, as they're just a bit too slippery.
Great quality, good price, but you have to wait for 4 months for your products to arrive.
When I purchased Brosa, I overlooked the note that items will arrive in...4 months.
I mean, 4 months to make 2 bar stools...which I intended to use while waiting for my custom made dining sets (from another provider overseas) to arrive. Interestingly the custom made table and chairs only took total of 1 month to be designed (by my drawings), made, and delivered from overseas...by sea! While here I am waiting diligently for my bar stools to arrive...on my new shiny dining sets.
Anyway, not Brosa fault! I know, mine for overlooked the ETA, I mean, who would have thought? But what really win me over was the product quality. It is impeccably made, beautifully crafted and I cannot fault a thing. So I forgive you Brosa.
Good quality and reasonable pricing
Friendly customer with 1:1 service at Alexandria. Great range and quality and reasonable pricing. Would definitely order from Brosa again. Only issue is slow shipping with things not in stock.

We just took delivery of the Osaka extension table and upon assembly the table doesn’t extend enough to put the extension piece in. What do I do now?
