Awesome team in Fitzroy showroom, but terrible product and after-sales experience
Awesome team in the Fitzroy showroom. Great quality furniture for the price! Biggest let down was the muck around with a confirmed delivery being cancelled without any contact, essentially wasting an entire day waiting. Online customer service didn't help the situation by twice confirming the delivery when we suspected it wasn't coming, only to be informed at the end of the day that the items were not going to be delivered for a further month. Disappointing delivery experience after a great showroom experience.

My Brosa bed broke while moving interstate. The removalists broke one bed leg and lost the others. I contacted Brosa to purchase new bed legs and they refused to sell me replacement bed legs even though they still sell the bed and it is a common / basic part. This means I've had to purchase a whole new bed.
Looks good but needs replacing after 18 months.
I brought a chesterfield about two and a half years ago. It looks beautiful and still does. Problem is the foam has gone completely flat. I first contacted them a year ago about how flat it was and then life happened. Yesterday my elderly mother came around and couldn't get up as she sank into the flat bit. I was under the impression there was a ten year warranty but no - only one for the cushion. I rang brosa today and was told it was the way I was using the couch that was the problem. I use it to watch tv at night and it is mostly just me and...my dog. I told them this but they kept saying its how you use it. I am bewildered at how else I am meant to use it. I think it was meant to be just looked at. I did buy another single chair I gave to my neighbours son as it was too small for an adult but figured that was my bad for not measuring it up. Anyway by the couch if you are happy to pay a yearly upgrade for the foam in the seat - if not save your pennies and buy something of better quality that you wont have to ditch after a couple of years. These days things shouldnt just end up in a landfill.
Whilst the furniture is good. At no stage where we told we had to construct it ourselves ( per IKEA ) and take away the packaging?
We were also not informed that the furniture came from overseas and the expected delivery is a "guess" at best.
We waited an extra four weeks beyond their promised delivery date, and had we known this we would not have ordered the furniture.
We had multiple items not delivered as per the agreed delivery date and then some delivered twice?
We received no apology or explanation other than we are not sure what happen ...
Beware of fabric
Website Is easy to use and product range is great. We purchased all our furniture for our new home from Brosa however after a few months of use the fabric faded so badly the grey looked pink! Was advised this is not faulty but offered to refund furniture minus the 10% delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill. We replaced the fabric lounges for the velvet fabric and the dining chairs and bar stools with leather (at an additional cost) however we now have 4 bed frames and 3 office chairs that have all discoloured as they are made from the same c...rappy signature fabric that apparently discolours in sunlight and artificial lighting. Beware when selecting material for furniture, steer clear of the signature premium range unless you live in darkness!!
What customer service?
Editing because they offered collection and return in the end validating the 7 day return offer that they initially refused. Despite being exceptional quality furniture it was not what I was looking for.
I purchased the Pampero dining table and just over a year and a half of owning it cracks started to appear along the edges of each side of the table with some cracks running through the middle of the table. This would also explain the sagging of the table as well. They weren’t just “surface” cracks they are structural cracks. After contacting Brosa they requested images which I had sent for them to reply with “image evidence suggests the concrete is not cracked it’s the paint coating. Also due to extreme light, artificial lighting, temperature, humidity and radiation could have contributed to the damage”. So basically don’t take it out of the box is what they are suggesting. Would NEVER purchase from Brosa again!!!!
Do Not Buy the Dining Chairs!
We purchased 4 Jesper Dining chairs and 2 Jesper Dining chairs with arm rests for about $1100 in 2015. So, not expensive but still not cheap. They were ostensibly on sale.
These are the worst items of furniture I've every bought. The armchair leg broke after six months. The replaced the chair but all the chairs have sagging upholstery and are just cheap looking. I compare this to furniture friends have bought for similar price, and it is simply rubbish. We now don't buy furniture online, too hit and miss. The wisdom I learned is that you need ...
Let me start by saying that the furniture I purchased is great quality for the price point. Unfortunately customer service lets this company down.
To set the scene, hubby and I were moving into our new house on the Tuesday and delivery of the furniture was arranged for the Wednesday. I was 33 weeks pregnant (do no, I repeat do not attempt to move into a new house this pregnant). Wednesday comes and hubby is unexpectedly admitted to hospital. Miraculously I manage to be at home in the 3 hour delivery window Brosa provided. I was then advised 1 ...
Disappointing and dishonest service
I purchased the Sondra Sofa bed for $600 in 2016. The couch was pretty but uncomfortable but we had issues with the couches legs which resulted in structural issues with our couch. My issue was when we asked for a refund, I had serious issues with organising the return and getting back the full refund of the couch. I was told I could not return the couch unless it was in original packaging which means I had to source a couch sized box. When I finally organised this and returned the couch I was then charged $170 for the cost of the return. This ...is against Australian consumer law. See reference: https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees/repair-replace-refund#returning-the-product My issue is, that this is a very common occurrence as I was only refunded the cost of shipping upon my insistence. Looking at other negative reviews I have found a lot have people have had the same issue and haven’t known their legal rights like me. I would have sent at least 20 emails and had at least 10 phone calls regarding this return and refund. I have never left a bad review in my life but this experience has left me nothing but frustrated.

We just took delivery of the Osaka extension table and upon assembly the table doesn’t extend enough to put the extension piece in. What do I do now?
