Great little Mono Laser Printer for home use
When my previous Brother HL 5040 began to give paper feed problems after circa 15 years of use, and I was quoted $100 by a printer repairer to look at it, I decided it was cheaper to buy another Brother (because of the long life & reliability of the old printer) costing under $80 including delivery .
The HL L2300D does all I need for a home printer, - economical mono laser printing (supplied toner cartridge OK for 700 pages but non-genuine replacement toner cartridges OK for 1200 pages @ $14 on ebay) that produces good text print quality. It has a 250 sheet inbuilt paper tray + manual feed tray which deals with envelopes etc., + will do automatic duplex printing. The USB connection (for trouble free networking) to PC is not supplied in the box, but I used the old one from the previous printer. Easy install from CD & working faultlessly with Windows 10.
Good reviews on various web sites for this model as a basic trouble free printer.
Total cost including delivery was under $80
