Excellent – Excellent machine Takes memory cards Very easy to hook up to the computer I would recommend this machine to anyone. If you do manage to get paper stuck it's oh so easy to get out :) Very easy to use Print quality is quite good. Will copy two ways... either as a flat bed scanner or put it through like a normal fax. A printer, a copier, a fax, a scanner and takes digital memory cards!! Very good value for money.

Copies in colour or black and white. Even if one of the ink cartridges is empty, it won't print, even in black and white.

Takes 4 seperate ink cartiridges

Sometimes it won't pick up the paper to print.

OK – This printer has a lot of functions but I have had drama's with it from time to time. It is not as user friendly as it could or should be. I can not fax down my digital line but I think that is not the machines fault but my iinet account. Scanning is simple and you can scan to the computer, which is how we fax now. Not to many problems with paper jamming. Ink cartridges are simple to replace. Not 100% MAC friendly. Scan quality and copy are also good quality. Does most things Doesn't read some cards that are of a newer technology.

Good – Fantastic machine, networking function was the main reason for purchase and it has paid off. Nice and small compared with previous brother MFC's. I previously had a MFC5100, it recently died with error 41 which after 3 years of minimal use i thought fairly average, and was in two minds about purchasing another Brother, however to my knoweledge this is the only networkable MFC available for the price. Networkability, ease of use, size of unit, affordability for a networkable machine. none found so far.

Good – I recently purchased this unit as a discontinued line to replace a HP unit. It works brilliantly. Separate ink tanks that are cheap to purchase,and is exceptionally quiet in operation. Have yet to use it for photo work. Fax is simple to use also. Well worth the minimal purchase price I paid. Good compact design. Cant think of any.
