Bulying, Intimidation and not even sending product as i complained
Hi all just so you know they will threaten you with legal action for posting negative reviews online. But take it on the chin and do it for everyones elses sake.
So i wont go into my last complaint, its listed below. It is heavily modified as they threatened me with legal action for leaving a completely honest review. To cover myself, i altered it, but now i know that had no right to make me do it.
They bullied and intimidated me. This can be proven by emails i have kept.
Now they also refuse to send out the product that i paid for, that i have...

I ordered a product that stated in stock via online store, when I follow up for delivery detail, the reply email came pretty quick stating that they have displayed that product has ETA sometime in August. I am so sure I did not see those information when I complete my purchase. Why would I complete my order and wait for longer than 4 months. I was told to open a ticket to cancel my order. The cancellation policy is to charge 20% on non-shipped orders. I don't think this complies to consumer laws. Basically not worth buying anything from them. Do not support someone with bad business practice.
STEER CLEAR of these guys at all costs.
Extremely poor conduct. I placed an order and have been advised it is on back order until August - over 4 months from now. No issues there, but when requesting a refund, I was told that they will not provide a refund and that I was advised of the ETA. Further attempts to resolve resulted in a threat "Retailers including ourselves screen customers automatically prior to supplying goods and services based on their individual ratings on the EBR and decide on pricing discount levels, whether or not we will supply or make certain offers to and more... a bit like a credit rating."
Do not buy from this company if you want fair customer service!
This company should not be allowing people to purchase products online if they are not in stock. Someone can easily miss the the writing that says they won't get it for months.
I did this and then they refused to refund me, only saying they would keep 20% of it. I think this is a scam by them to make money - Hope people don't see its not in stock and allow them to buy it and then keep some of their money!
Steer clear of them is what I would recommend.
Worst customer experience ever. Had to return a baby monitor for a refund because it was faulty (as determined by the manufacturer themselves). The manufacturer had approved a refund but Bubs n Grubs didn't want to give me one and tried to make it a store credit (despite me being entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law). I had to fight for the refund and even get the manufacturer of the monitor to call the owner to finally get the refund. Their response via emails was extremely rude (I have never had such rude responses for so...mething that was clearly faulty and not my fault). Because the item is faulty I am also entitled to have the postage covered for returning the item however they have still not reimbursed me for this - will be complaining to the appropriate regulators about this. They obviously are only in it for the money and not the customer experience - if you buy from here no doubt you will encounter a bad experience if you need to return an item (see previous reviews as well from other customers). I would stick to the bigger chains such as Baby Bunting who will actually honour faulty products and provide much better customer service.
Delivery issues, delays and lack of contact from staff for updates.
Extremely bad delivery experience and no solutions provided - only excuses.
Delivery delayed even when we were promised delivery by a certain day then no courtesy call to say delivery will be delayed.
We were told that we would have a confirmation call during the week to let us know the progress. didn't receive this either.
When i called to see the progress of the delivery I was told that all deliveries just arrived and to give them an hour to sort out invoices and they will call me. 2.5 hours after I received a call to say our delivery w...as not made - followed by a heap of excuses again. Unable to go to warehouse to pick up goods because they are currently understaffed due to staff being in Melbourne and on Fridays the warehouse closing early and not working on Saturday's. I asked to speak to management - apparently they are also unavailable and i would have to make any complaints or "attempts"(I use this word because they say that it is up to management to approve or decline a refund) of refund online via chat.
I purchased online, item came quite quickly so credit to them for fast postage, however as soon as I opened the box (which was not sealed so item easily went back into the box brand new) I saw it was not suitable for what I needed, I quickly emailed them asking if I could exchange for something that was more expensive and obviously I’d pay the difference and postage back but was informed that there is no returns or exchanges, I was offered a tiny discount instead should I wish to purchase other products, this was pointless to me as I have been ...stuck with something that won’t be used. I expressed my displeasure for their return/refund policy with a 1 star review on google however was soon sent an email stating that solicitors would become involved to the point I felt like I needed to remove my review. My personal details were also passed on to a third party company which I believe is based in USA from a brief look at their website classing me as a medium to high risk online shopper, my personal details were entrusted to this company in exchange for a product, I certainly didn’t authorise my information to be shared so this is incredibly poor form and quite childish, it would appear if a negative review is received your private information will be given out. Very very disappointing experience when all I wanted was a simple no hassle exchange. Moving forward I will always be sure to read reviews before I buy and I will certainly never purchase from this company again nor would I recommend it to anyone!
I had come in to look at prams with a rough idea on what I wanted. Annie and Brian were really helpful. Ended up with the Joolz geo2 at a great price.
These guys are crooks. I bought a Graco baby swing from them online a year ago. It stopped working, I emailed them for support (no number to call). They told me to send the swing to them for the manufacturer to check it out. They weren't there to accept it on 27/1/2019 and has been sitting in Tingalpa post office since then. I've sent 3 emails to them to see how we can move on, no response at all. Called them on their retail line (because that was the only phone number), and they told me that they have email support, nothing. So right now, my i...tem is sitting at the post office a month later, and they refused to do anything about it. My $400 baby swing is now being abandoned by them. Never again. Buyer beware. No customer support once they've taken your money.

Terrible business, not at all interested in customer satisfaction.
Placed an order and had to cancel mere hours later. Order had not been processed or shipped.
Bubs n Grubs refused to refund the order and wanted a 20% cut before they would reverse the order.
Their website talks about customer satisfaction but they don't live by those words.

Absolutely disgusting store to deal with. I would warn any persons thinking of shopping at this store to avoid them at all costs. After been given misleading information about a pram, we put forward half of the price which is quite a few hundred dollars, after looking further into the product we found that it was not the exact pram that was stated and asked simply for a refund of the money so we could put it towards the correct pram. They were not forthcoming with a full refund at all how ever they did offer an in store credit which we refused ...as we needed the money to put towards the correct pram. There customer support team emailed us and blatantly refused to give a refund although it was a phone order and no terms and conditions were ever read out nor was any paperwork signed they still say it was in there agreed terms. Absolutely disgusted that such a simple mishap has turned into a massive fight and the simplest of resolutions was not come to. Avoid shopping at this store. Please note these dealings were with there brisbane store.
As a soon to be mum I felt out of my depth with prams. The staff was fantastic and went through lots with me and demonstrated different ones so I could make a decision. With the right information.

Worst customer service experience Ive ever encountered! Reading the Google reviews, Im definitely not the first one to experience their total refusal to work with the customer and resolve issues. Read reviews from Product Review to get a better idea of how immoral this business is.
I purchased a pra...m online that I was lead to believe was in stock as it didnt say otherwise when purchasing, only to be told a few days later that there was a 2+ month delay to receive it. I was happy to wait many weeks, my order wasnt urgent (even though they keep talking as if it was) but 2+ months was ridiculous. Bubs n Grubs wouldnt let me return it for a full refund because of this delay, they would only offer me a refund less 20% cancellation fee as per ts & cs. This caused me a 32 week pregnant women, so much unnecessary stress all because they would rather pocket about $300 extra than give me a full refund. Never have I come across a business so dishonourable. I was told I needed to call the store before placing an order online to ensure they have it in stock. What a joke! This means you cant rely on their rubbish website to tell you the truth rendering the whole shopping online experience a waste of time. After an initial response from them, a week passed with no second response back from them, I had to follow up multiple times (also sent an email and got no response) to get any sort of answer which was totally unhelpful in the end. Ive told all my friends and family to say clear of this dodgy operation. They have been reported to Consumer Affairs, who have told me if they get enough people reporting theyll have to investigate the business. This business has these loop holes in their ts&cs around product not being in stock and know they can try to make extra money on top of the sale if customers want to return items due to big stock delays by charging a 20% cancellation fee. There is moral responsibility to the customer to be open and honest about product availability when shopping online this business does not understand this responsibility, they see it as a way to make more money. They are happy to mislead and deceive customers with product appearing to be in stock when they actually are not and stock levels are not shown - all other businesses in online retail are able to show this with inventory management software, so saying they cant is just a very poor excuse. It is deliberately misleading because if stock was marked as out of stock the customer would go elsewhere so they rope you in to purchasing the item where you tick their ts&cs thereby bounding you to their shonky rules. They stand behind their ridiculous ts&cs instead of trying to help their customer, who without them they would have no business. They do not operate as humans with feelings and empathy towards people, they are only interested in screwing people for as much as they can. This business wont last in this digital age unless they smarten themselves up. Reading through the reviews they seem to have a lot of legal battles on their hands, Im not surprised. Im looking forward to seeing this business go under.
Disgraceful Company to deal with.
My daughter and her partner are expecting their first child so my wife and I were more than happy as proud grandparents to be to purchase a cot, change table and mattress for the excited couple. My daughter found a package deal which she liked on Bubs & Grubs which she ordered. It was dispatched promptly and it was arranged to be delivered to my wife as daughter and partner work.

I was asked via a (grammatically flawed) email from the company to provide an honest review whether positive or negative on the product I purchased.
I am unable to do so, as the product I ordered never came, I received a different product, albeit similar, despite repeated requests to cancel and refund.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Go to a reputable retailer!
I wish we read the reviews before buying an expensive cot and tallboy from them. Absolutely discraceful after sales service, refuse to replace or even REPAIR a faulty item. Accused us of threatening behaviour because we were upset and want to go down there with the cot and receive a refund! From the looks of reviews, the owner replies to all the same way. Accuses them, says he listens to recorded conversations and views footage instore of complaining customers! I have a daughter sleeping in a portacot because their cot wont go together properly, refuse to pick up unless its diassambled and repacked (we paid $200 to have assembled). Avoid at ALL COSTS! We will simply will go to fair trading and write it off as a terrible purchase decision
Extremely poor customer service
From my experience of shopping with Bubs n Grubs these are the key issues:
* Customer service is poor, staff lack empathy and can be rude and aggressive if the customer wants a refund. They use their terms and conditions as insurance in order to keep your money by accusing the customer of having not read them properly when items are not in stock.
