No staff to be found anywhere at any location same issues no service and lack of staff please bunnings can we not skimp on staff and customer service

Several weeks ago we needed a new pressure release valve urgently for our water heater. Checked Bunnings on line and found it was $62. Armed with a printout we headed to our local store in Albion Park Rail. The valves there showed they were $80, which I thought was an obvious mistake, so I spoke to the Customer Service Centre who had someone check the price for me. He checked on line and saw that it did say $62. He called a manager who did some further checking and then she told me that prices are “store specific” and that this price was for th...

Then when we got to the checkout the lady said she couldn't pick up the items from our basket as she had a “sore thumb” so I had to pass them to her to scan. Her painted nails were incredible and she was holding her fingers out like she had wet nail polish which made me wonder if it was her thumb or her nails she was really worried about.- 9 reviews

Glue traps - sold by Bunnings!!! They knowingly sell these despite the torture and death they inflict on our beautiful innocent wildlife- they ignore the public pleas and refuse to stop selling them!

Tried the new Pymble store... no veg seedlings and those herb and flower seedlings that were there were all dried out and either dead or dying!!... was told the sprinklers don’t work... extraordinarily bad for a new store... just awful... went up to Flower Power and bought my supplies there!... very poor for a new store...

Met 3 young staff, Harry, Travis and Sasha at Bunnings Alexandria. They're all very courteous and helpful, especially Sasha who was very detailed. She suggested to follow me to my car to ascertain the two gas bottle sizes before swapping. Otherwise I would 've bought the wrong bottles!

Went online to by a Wagner sprayer
Product available at my selected store
Travelled 40 minutes to store and was told they have none in stock
I week later product still available on website but still none in store
So don’t trust there website it is hopeless especially Taree store
So Bunnings thanks for the waste of time and don’t try and pull customers into your store when products are not available you advertise available

You really cannot blame the staff !
For the lack of product knowledge or the fact they "show" stock online but noone knows where it is.
This happen today to me THREE times.
But giving wrong advice just shouldn't happen but will continue to in this type of environment.

Went to buy a sink snake. I asked the attendant if it was effective. Answer, I don’t know mate. Never used it. If I’ve got a problem I call the plumber. Wow.

Like a previous poster I fell for the “we will beat it by 10%” con. When I got to the store I saw the price was marked as $339 as it was online. Checking with my local total tools it was $299 and they had stock. So when I got to the desk I asked for their 10% price difference but miraculously their price had now changed to $299 so they didn’t have to honour their price promise. I thought though my power pass discount would help make up for this so paid for it only to find there was no power pass discount. So I asked for a refund and to speak to...

The manager was rude , and she inferred that a customer must have removed (me!) a discount sticker over the $339 price and blatantly refused to give me the discount as the till now had the right price even though the shop sticker and online didn’t. This appears to be a huge marketing scam to get you into the shop and then not honoring a price promise. And when caught out they not only fail to ever apologize for their mistake but infer that I might be trying to cheat them. Trust total tools because they honour their prices and don’t try and treat you as a cheat. Since writing this 1* review I was contacted by Bunnings who apologized for my experience and then spoke to the appropriate staff so this does not happen again to customers. I was also compensated for my lost discount which I then put towards a Dewalt product . Pleased that this was resolved quickly and fairly so have readjusted my reviewHello,

I purchased the Euromatic ceramic tower heater from Bunnings 2 weeks ago, while it heats the room well it has a strong smell when it is on, which lingers in the room for a while after turning it off. I have tried all advice on use to get rid of this smell, nothing worked. I contacted Bunnings and told the lady who answered the phone, she said it is not a fault. I recently have made a number of purchases for a project.
I had to take some items back, when I was to be refunded.
Did the whole back on my card process, even put my pin into their eftpos machine.
According to my bank the refund was reversed within minutes by bunnings, so after 2 weeks of backward and forward, I threatened to go public if I didn't receive my refund immediately.
I was not only given cash but gift vouchers, but the most concerning this about this, is the fact the staff member who have me this refund in cash said this happens all the time.
The staff member states that there is probably more people who not check to see if the refund is actually there.

Staff refused to use photo of power pass card, states that its policy yet I've used it before. Nothing wrong with using a photo, it frees up space in my wallet and I refuse to let them install their crap app on my phone.

What their policy with dogs being allowed in stores ?
Walking through the store today and 3 staff memembers hogging up the middle isle patting a dog (assuming its one of their partners or a worker as they were going around to all staff showing off their dog)
It lunged at my son, twice! Not muzzled which I thought they should be to be in a store. Staff just stood there doing nothing and said nothing as usual. My son is 2, luckily I was holding his hand to pull him back.
