After 2 years still waiting for medicals not approved
Its been about 2 years since fell over on my carport, due to a bunnings staff member not giving me the correct floor paint. I slipped over and torn my main muscle in my arm. Its got to a stage where I went to staple a sheet of paper and I was unable too. I have paid for all my medical expenses myself as wesfarmers [Name Removed] has refused paying for my medical scans and ct scans. I am appalled that a company this size and knowing are still mucking me around when my arm is getting worse since this fall. There response You can claim various expenses in the interim through Medicare or your private health insurer.
Exceptional customer service
Exceptional customer service by Mr.Jason the store manager at Bunnings Werribee today for an exchange of a faulty Victa lawnmower.
Our whole family is very thankful to you.
Took a Ryobi lawnmower that had been badly damaged on the underside of its deck. This was due to flimsy plastic on the build.Bunnings blamed me.Now I,m stuck with this crap till I can afford a decent mower fro Mitre 10.
If you cannot do something, Don't!
3 trips today to get 2 keys cut. Every time not one of them worked. On the final trip back I was asked for my docket and the money was refunded. No apology for the wasted trips, no "sorry for the inconvenience". My card was processed, handed back to me and the girl turned away from me without a word and continued her conversation with another staff member.
Worst product ever purchased from Bunnings
Within 10 days, I have had to return 3 of these hoses. Each time it is a different issue. Several days ago, as I returned yet another one, the gentleman directly behind me was also returning the same hose, with yet another issue! That is 4 separate issues with the same product. It is a severely flawed item and I strongly recommend that you DO NOT purchase this item. At $150- I expect more. I will not be accepting a 4th replacement and I will not feel compelled to spend a further $100 to purchase a "more superior" item. I will go with a plain hose that I need to roll up myself! In saying all of this, the staff at the returns counter are pleasant and obliging. It is not their fault that this item is rubbish. Purchase at your own risk!
Holman Misting System
I received a call from Holman managements about my previous complaint there product called the misting kit. The issue was satisfactory resolved with a refund.
Its good to see they took the complaint seriously.
Cobra CORD TABS
Adhesive feature on cord tabs do not work well. Once cord inserted and any pressure applied they just pop off the wall. Definetly would not reccommend this product at the moment.
Bunnings contacted me, offered a refund and will be speaking to their supplier in order to rectify the issue. Thanks Bunnings for looking after your customers. Shop with confidence guys
Bunnings Gardman Soil pH Meter is a joke
Have always been suspicious of the soil pH meters sold at Bunnings, but hoped I was wrong and bought one anyway.
Took it home, followed the instructions. Roughed up the probe, scraped back the top soil, wetted the soil and put the probe in. Hmm not the reading I expected. Took probe inside and cleaned it. Made up a solution of vinegar and water, put probe in, yep acidic reading around ph 5.
Made up a second solution with baking soda (not baking powder), put in probe, also apparently acidic with an identical reading to the vinegar solution. It should have read around pH8. These meters are worse than useless, they are actually incredibly misleading.
Returned it and got my money back, but they really shouldn't be for sale.

Get your act together.... Disgraceful
Get your act together.... why selling stuff online and showing stock available and getting customers to pay, only to receive attached text? Disgraceful that can’t manage online stock numbering system. Order number - W102359499
Stafford Awful staff
I had a battery charger die and the returns/ service staff replaced it. When I went through the cashier, I was asked for a receipt for the battery charger. I told the girl to ring the returns/ service staff and check with them. She kept insisting she didn't need to do that and told me I was supposed to get a receipt and I should know that their procedures was to issue a receipt. I informed her that no money changed hands therefore there was no receipt and she should check with the returns/ service staff. She then gave me a lecture and told me I...should know the store procedures. I replied it was not my place to know the store procedures and she should get the returns/ service staff to come there or to phone them. She kept insisting it was my fault. I should have known what their staff procedures were and informed the staff that they should give me a receipt. To which I replied it was not my place to train the staff during a transaction with the Bunnings staff. The girl kept lecturing me about the fact I should know store policy and procedures. I dumped the products I was going to buy and walked out of the store. As a customer, it is not my place to know Bunnings stores procedures and policies or to train the staff, in the middle of a transaction, on store procedures and policies. That is ridiculous. It is not my place to educate Bunnings staff on their procedures if they fail to follow them. Bunnings have awful staff who have delusional ideas about their procedures and store policies.

Why have a returns policy that isn't followed?
Made a deposit on a bottle of COREGAS 4 years ago, went into this store during the week to upgrade the bottle to a larger size and pay the extra $259 etc and was told I needed a receipt to upgrade the bottle. I don't have the receipt because it's probably disintegrated now??
Besides that the return policy states if you want a REFUND you need a receipt, I was doing an EXCHANGE which clearly states on the website I don't need a receipt.
Speaking to a manger there with 2 other males standing behind her to intimidate me I was brushed off like so...meone who had no idea what they were talking about. I was told its my own problem and they can't help, to go through my bank transactions etc. and have a "good look" for the receipt, the basic bull sh!t you hear from someone "trying" to do their job AND again repeatedly told "our policy states you need a receipt to return the item", seriously? In writing the website states the coregas bottles are to be returned in line with the bunnings returns policy. The returns policy states, an exchange for like goods or a voucher I don't need a receipt but need to provide photo ID. I was never offered that. I made a complaint online directly to the store and received a generic email from someone who worked there, I replied to their email asking for a reasonable explanation and heard nothing back. What's the point of even sending that email to begin with? What's the point of asking me if I want to discuss it? Why would you create a policy, advertise it in writing on your website and not adhere to it at store level?
any time I've had a problem with the item I've purchased, they investigate & replace the item, they a just fair... also have a great range, which is all we ask...
Disgusting customer service skills at Bunnings Warehouse Warrnambool
Attempted to return a faulty gardening device that had failed just after one battery charge use and was denied a refund due to "abuse of the device" but refused to put it in writing for me. Claimed I had used it for not DIY uses which was incorrect. It was lucky to have 10mins runtime before it started to develop issues. As someone who is disabled and has spent over $20,000 in the last 24 months at Bunnings Warehouse this was the first time I had attempted to do a refund on a product - as normally I was greeted with respect when handing over mo...ney. But by god I was surprised with the terrible way I was treated. I had mentioned I was a regular daily customer to the manager on at the time and was laughed at by two staff members who were at another counter, one also shouted "Oh really, well I don't recognise you [haha]" with a smug look on her face. This sort of thing continued until I decide to pack up the faulty device and left. I ignored this behavior as you would think someone in their late 60s would have learned some respect by then, but sadly not. I'm disabled and just making it to the store is a big effort in it self but to be treated like this has made me decide to never shopping there again. I do a lot of DIY to keep active these days and will not be shopping at Bunnings Warehouse again after this experince, I have also filed a complaint with the ACCC about this issue of not honoring basic Australian Customer Law. I don't care about getting a refund or a product replacement but HR need to do some serious staff training or purging of narcissistic employees who have no human skills. I dread the day when a customer with depression or simliar is having a bad day that is greeted by staff like this as it would be nearly enough to push them over the edge. Not even joking there, if this might be you do not go there.
My husband did diy painting. Bought a few tins worth a few hundred dollars, based on the advise of the guy in the paint section.
Your Bunnings people recommended those items which resulted to 3 walls peeling so my husband went to the store to get advise hopefully to fix asap, we spent time and money on that and the goal is to fix it. The Bunnings Harrisdale operations manager saw him talking to a crew member most likely in his halting English and loud voice as he is hard of hearing, the manager took over the conversation and just kept pointing ...
Resolution of previous complaint quickly, efficiently and courteously.
Previous complaint related to a faulty spray gun under warranty. Bunnings staff members at Bairnsdale not amenable to replacing it.
Within two days the issue was resolved. I have a new spray gun, an apology and a respectful attitude. Well done, Bunnings.
British paint was faulty
I purchased paint from harrisdale wa store. Staff in paint section advised us to use British paint for our new build. We took their advise even though we wanted to go with dulux. After finishing the sealer binder we started the paint. Paint was drying in roller after 5 minutes and wasn’t easy to work with. Hardly finished one room and run to bunnings to ask them the solution and they advised to buy better rollers. My husband spent around $25 on another roller and same thing happened. We wasted two days and by now we understood it got something ...to do with paint. We took the paint back to the store. Guy said nothing wrong with this paint. No solution provided. We had enough with this paint and decided to purchase dulux brand and paid another $165. Well , this time we painted whole house with same inexpensive roller without any issues. Stop selling faulty product. Thank you for nothing and wasting our hard earned money!
Bunning wont publish my review on a Product
I purchased a high pressure cleaner and bunning said it has 7 years warrenty. ( Karcher ).
Because i purchaswd it under my business name i only got 3 months instead of 7 years. Bunnings denies it so i called Karcher directly and they confirmed it. It is 3 months if purchased under a business name or if paid for with a business credit card.
I had proof on my phone but bunning still denied it. I told them to call karcher and they refused.
I posted a review on the bunning webside and they dont want to publish it. I posted the proof i had.
Staff needs more training its not about just selling stuff and misleading people about the truth.
Dont trust bunning reviews they only publish if it is 5 star and if it suits them.
Refunds Made Easy
Mostly when getting a refund at Bunnings in North Penrith it is without hassles which I appreciate, and because of this I feel assured making purchases there.
Bunnings has a good range of products, particularly when doing home renovations.
