customer Service is outstanding
I have not experienced any issues of concern with data or dropouts. The network coverage is very good, only time I didn't have great coverage I was on the Murray River in a house boat.

Down load speeds can vary greatly
Depending on area . Coverage is good in most places in Australia. Patchy coverage overseas with high prices so not good value makes satellite phone prices look good
Have the odd dropout when my wife who has amaysim doesn't. Otherwise pretty good coverage. Streaming is fine when when service is available. Customer service is good, always helpful and prompt.

I was originally with Vodafone for about 10 years, but eventually left due to their customer service going from fantastic to awful within the last three years. I then went with Telstra, mainly for the better coverage, but after several years of putting up with their dreadful customer service, I found CMobile and switched. Initially it was great, as I had the superior coverage of the Telstra network but with great customer care from an Australian based team. The fact that it was Australian owned was even better, and I did all I could to support ..."the little bloke" by telling all my friends and family about CMobile, many of whom became customers themselves. Lately however, this customer focus has seemingly becoming less apparent. Over several recent months I've had to call CMobile multiple times regarding the same issue before eventually something was done about it, despite numerous assurances and promises each time. The entire experience was needlessly drawn out and incredibly frustrating with little consideration given to my inconvenience, whereas once this had been a strong priority with CMobile. Although the original problem has finally been resolved, I now have to contact CMobile once again to find out why my most recent bill has not been adjusted accordingly, despite their promise to do so when I last called. This is not the first instance of this kind; time and again I have had to follow up with CMobile after being assured my bill would be correctly adjusted, only to subsequently receive a bill with no adjustments made at all. This has occurred far too often to be human error, and I suspect that it is merely hoped that I will either forget and not notice the error when I receive my bill, or give up in frustration and simply pay the outstanding amount because I can't be bothered calling back all the time. This is an intentional strategy often used by the big telcos, but it's something I think CMobile can ill-afford to employ (inside scoop: my ex-wife worked for Telstra in their customer service division before it went offshore, and this was a ploy they were instructed to use by their supervisor). Recently when CMobile introduced new (and cheaper) mobile plans, no attempt was made on their part to notify their existing customers of the new plans. I only happened to find out by pure chance. When I brought this fact to their attention and suggested a blanket email be sent out to all customers, I was told that an email should have already been sent out and that they would look into it. No email was subsequently received either by myself nor anyone else I know who is with CMobile. This sort of deliberate deception is disgraceful and shows a complete lack of respect or appreciation by CMobile towards their loyal customers. Frankly, CMobile doesn't have the corporate size or market dominance to be able to afford to treat their customers in this way. Even Vodafone found that out, the hard way. I'm now looking for an alternative provider.
Exceptional service at a great rate
I am very happy with C Mobile as they have delivered exceptional quality service at a much cheaper rate than my previous service provider. Very helpful people to deal with regarding any inquiries and the plans I have for my son and myself suit our needs perfectly. Happy to recommend them to anyone.
Very pleased with C Mobile
Except for one incorrect account I have been very happy with C mobile. They responded quickly and resolved the matter. I had been with telestra and changed due to the pricing plans on offer. Our coverage here is so bad we have to use an external antenna which means I cannot use a "Smart phone" but this is not C Mobile's fault. Happy to recommend them.
Needing a plan that doesn't cost, C Mobile delivers. Coverage is excellent. When requesting a call back they deliver. When new plans arrive they pass them on. Overall, C Mobile meets our needs.
Cheap and cheerful
Well priced and for the main works well although it can lack coverage in the country sometimes. The data and voicemail are handy although I don't use them often. Polite reminder when I forgot to pay my bill.
Put simply, it works
I simply want a mobile phone to make calls and send texts and my C mobile plan does what I want it to do. I dont use the data included so I cannot comment on it's speed or otherwise.

No deception. I got what I paid for with NO extra charges. Top product and Telstra service coverage. Friendly and helpful staff. I didn't try the optus plan so can't comment on that.
I haven't had any issues with network coverage and the download speeds have been very good. Having voicemail unlike Belong is handy too. It isn't the cheapest option available but it is reliable and the customer support team are quick to reply.

Does the Blue 30GB plan charge for international texts or not. On the summary page it says 60c per text, but on the critical info summary it says they're unlimited....???

The 30Gb plan includes unlimited calls and text to 15 international destinations. Canada, China, France Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, NZ, South Korea, Thailand, UK and USA. The 60c international text cost applies to destinations other than those mentioned.
