Extremely poor quality for Thongs
Hi I bought two pairs of Camilla thongs on 11th Dec 2019 Order I have to say that I am really disappointed in the quality. Within several weeks the Watego's Wonderlust looked so dirty I attempted to clean but could see that the print was rubbing off and any sort of bleach was not a good idea. So could no longer were them out. Then noticed on both pairs that they had like a white film over both. I didn't want to attempt to rub them so just had to live with it. The yesterday after only 8 months the River Cruise pair broke it snapped right betwee...n my toes while I was out. Thankfully I carry a spare pair of thongs in the car. One would assume spending $89 on a pair of thongs that I would get longer than 8 months out of them. Living in QLD I live in thongs and have lots of different pairs so it is not like they were worn every day so again would expect them to last a lot longer than they have. I will never buy another pair and really not happy that now one pair will end up in the bin the other can only be worn at home! Would never recommend anyone buy them especially at full price!
It was difficult to reach someone to have my return number. Very difficult.

In July, instead of a refund You gave me a gift vaucher...What a surprise!
I have never asked for such a thing...
Later on, I was told the refund was on my credit card....There is almost 20 dollars missing ($18.11)
I think there is a lack of respect here.
After two months it would be appreciated to have the amount you owe me.

I love my purchases
I have always liked the brand but kaftans, strappy tops and play suits don’t suit me so I have steered away - not to mention it’s very expensive. Also some of the shop assistants’ attitudes have been a bit off putting (maybe it just happens a lot in fashion stores to the late middle-aged as I am) I have always liked the prints though. I bought a bomber jacket (Tropic of Neon) on sale from DJs and I love it! It has started a new habit for me - oh no! After that I visited a boutique (Paddington) and tried on a few things (helpful staff) and fell...in love with the Fairy Godmother button dress - I had to order it online as they didn’t offer Afterpay in store - it arrived within a few days and it’s just beautiful- even my fussy teenage daughters (who think I’m fashion-challenged) thought it was gorgeous. I then bought my mother-in-law a silk clutch with astrology signs which she raved about, and then I bought myself the astrology print in a ruffled dress - a new look for me. The assistant I phoned (Sarah) was so helpful when I asked questions about fit, as there were only 2 left in my size she offered to send me a personal invoice to purchase and accept a return for refund (even though it was on sale) if it didn’t work out. I received it 2 days later and it was great. I’ll keep looking at the brand now that it has styles that suit me - I suggest more older shop assistants, Afterpay in-store, and more of the fitted waist dresses please!
Shocking Customer Service - Will Never Buy Online Again
I am still waiting for an item and it's been forever since buying it online. It's not turned up.
Very rude on the phone and I've called several times by now. They even laugh at you.
Will not provide me a tracking number - have asked several times and keep being told they cannot access the computer to give it.
Tells me that they posted it Express - but that Australia Post isn't doing Express right now so that's why it is slow to arrive. That's a lie. I received a parcel that same day from someone else - via EXPRESS!

Very poor service
Accidently ordered wrong size of sale item. Emailed them within 10 minutes to ask to change to correct size before sending. Apparently impossible, No customer care.
I agree that they can't deal with every stupid persons requests, but a genuine mistake, I thought the size filter I used would prevent wrong size coming up, and advised immediately. I think it reasonable to expect some effort would be made to assist to send the correct size.
Sale item. Still expensive enough that I would expect some consideration. Now I have to wait to receive dres...
First time buy and also last time buy! Aware : (
I bought 2 dresses from warehouse online. The material is terrible, they look like $10! The label attached to the dress said 100% silk but it's cotton. I feel that I am be tricked. I asked for return & get the credits so I can purchase again and Camilla said "no". This is the first time and also this is the last time. Never ever again! Camilla lost my business.
A quality control issue
The first time I would question quality control. "Friends in Flora" slim-fit long sleave blouse. The symmetrical pattern is out by about 1cm and even indicated by where the brand label and swing tags fall. Instantly noticeable to whoever stitches on labels because the print is not random. It won't be noticeable if not buttoned up, but disappointing. Also right side of shirt is lower than left but pattern aligns; something amiss with print stamping of silk??? This silk is not "pull into place" so levels match. I love the print anyway and want it to pair with Camilla leather trousers. If I had not paid sale price it would be going back. First time problem but really inspect carefully before taking off tags
I would like to share the bad experience I had with the Online store of Camilla. As you already know, it is not a "cheap" brand, you pay a high price for the quality of the product and believed in the service, however it is not like that. I purchased a dress online and had been waiting for week as it was not available at any store. Believing that I would have an excellent experience I took a chance. The dress is for my cousin's wedding that will happen next week in Thailand ... I have been looking at my email every day since then to see if I w...ould receive another email with the tax invoice and with the tracking to keep track of the delivery. I have received nothing, so on Monday, I sent an email to the company and was sent directly to Instagram with no response. I sent another few emails on Tuesday (about 10 emails) and still NOTHING ... I got desperate and called them yesterday Wednesday 12/01 I talked with Mary, and she told me they don't have my dress on stock ... (If you go online, you can still buy the dress - Frill sleeve long dress wbeach shack - Size S) So I called and then [name removed] who answered me was super nice and said that they DO NOT have the dress on stock... I was perplexed because I didn't receive any email, no message saying this before. I accepted and said I wanted my refund as I really like the branded dresses I started looking at the website and seeing the dresses and found one I would like to wear on the special day. I called them again, spoke with [name removed] and I told her the importance of this dress I asked if they have this dress in any store I would pick it up but she told me this dress its only online. I was a kind of afraid to buy but she said probably with express shipping was time enough to arrive. I believed again and I process my order Again, I am frustrated with the whole experience. My purchase was not processed yesterday, the dress will not arrive on time, they don’t have the dress on stock (again)... I call them this morning talked with [name removed] and know I’m going to pick up another dress myself in store (not one of my fav, but I don’t have time to see other store or going anywhere to see a new dress, so that’s it ). I believe that this is not the first impression that a brand wants to leave with the consumers. I am extremely disappointed, and I would never have imagined going through this and especially on this occasion, which is so important. My total dissatisfaction with the brand is registered, which I will think about 100 billion times before buying another product. Thank you for the first bad impression, I hope you will learn and improve the online services. [name removed] you were beautiful thank you for you service, but I’m very frustrated and I know some things in the company are beyond of your hands.
I really like it!
I just received my very first Camilla kaftan, and I absolutely love it. I bought a long Camilla jacket for my daughter a few months ago for her Arabian nights birthday party and she also loved it. The garments are beautiful, silk makes me feel loved and happy. I just want to know if it is better to store them folded or hanging.
If you are like me, and can't afford many of these garments, I would only recommend to carefully choose your print and if you can, go to your closest boutique and "feel" the fabric.
I am genuinely shocked by the amount of negative reviews below. I am in awe of every piece of Camilla I own. From play suits to bralettes the range, quality, packaging, customer service and appearance of every item I have purchased go beyond my expectations!
I do admit I have only ever bought items on sale due to the high prices (high prices expected for such beautiful unique clothing). I have just received and worn my new play suit and had numerous compliments the entire time.
Not only am I in love with their range, but in love with how I feel when I am wearing them! Cannot get enough
I paid over $600 for an item. I was sent three incorrect items. I sent them back and never got a refund for original item because I was told the store didn’t stock the product to begin with. What’s more is I had to got to the post office during work hours to collect the package to return the incorrect item because that’s the only way they accept returns. This store is essentially a scam run by people with no sense of customer service.
terrible quality - not made like they used to be
the camilla brand has dropped tremendously in quality over the years. fake crystals (no more swarovski) and terrible quality of silk. the fake Camilla pieces you can buy in cheap stores look the same as these now. such a shame that it just isn't special anymore. overpriced
Very poor fitting and poor quality
I bought the Bell Sleeve playsuit, Bliss of Bohemia in size XS, navy blue and brown in colour. The package was inside a pretty envelope, wrapped in a bow tie. That was the only thing I liked about the piece. As soon I took out the item of clothing from the plastic it was in 3 pieces of small beads dropped down. By biggest disappointment was the fitting. It was extremely large at the front, 2 of me could have fit in there. There was no way I could find a reason to keep this item of clothing. The fabric was of poor quality, the "100% silk" claim doesn't impress me. The cost for the playsuit doesn't justify the very poor quality and fitting. I could much easily find a playsuit with that kind of fitting at Valleygirl!
Cost cutting. Half the amount of beads in real life and it’s considered ‘unique differences’
I purchased a $650 limited edition kaftan as I really loved the print. When I received my kaftan, two of the larger beads had already fallen off in the bag. When I saw this I went online to see how many beads were missing as I wondered if some had fallen into my carpet when I wasn’t looking. To my surprise, on the picture online, there were beads in groups of two and three, but my garment had them in just groups of two and just one lonely bead.
I wrote to them and was told this is normal and a creative difference. It was also missing the s...tandard packet of replacement beads that is usually attached to all Camilla tags. They asked to send pics. I did. I don’t think they even got them as their automated system did not reply and they didn’t say if they did when I directly asked if they had got the pictures. I’m not entirely sure it isn’t a machine sending the reply’s. They offered that I return it and they would look at it for quality control, but couldn’t hold one for me to replace it with in case they sold out in the meantime. I won’t bother with buying from them again as clearly there appears to be cost cutting happening at the factory and they don’t seem to care that it’s damaging their brand. Disappointing.Thanks
