Easy to use website,ordering is simple,only wish that there could be an easy way of printing out a booklist as sometimes buying all textbooks brand new is not an option for families with multiple children.

Good product slow processing
Advitising is on time, products are always good but really hope that the service can be catched up such as increasing the new order follow-up service and processing speed.
Good customer service
There was a delay in the delivery of the items I ordered but they actioned on it asap when I emailed them.
Will not use again
I have used Campion for 4 years, ordered on time because I was organised and not working.
If you have "time" to remember at the end of the school year to order books in their very small time frame, 15 days before Christmas (first year of High School Book list price $562). You WILL NOT receive your until the day before school starts. Time close was 10 December, I remembered to order on the 16 December.
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PAYING FOR DELIVERY.... They WILL NOT allow you to pick up your order if you have paid for delivery, even if it...would make it easier for you. One week to go for school to start.... NO BOOKS, I rang (Tuesday) and was spoken to rather rudely by a staff member who stated " you didn't order in the time frame", Yes, I know. I was told (lied too actually) that my order would be sent out by the end of the week and to ring back on Thursday. I rang Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday only to be told the same lies by different people. Finally I got a Supervisor who spieled. "You ordered late, we have staff shortages due to COVID (NB. There were no cases in WA at this time).
Phones not answered, back items not actually in stock after being told they are.
Received an email to say backorder was finally in, go to pick it up only to be told it was a system error and they have no idea where it is. Was advised that I might get a reminder email but ignore that, have now received two more emails, have tried calling, wait on hold for over 1/2 only to be disconnected - TWICE! Email replies take between 3 - 5 days for a reply, I'm not driving 20 minutes, to wait in the line for an hour or so to be told it's not there again - you can only blame covid on so much. Good job the staff were so nice.
How does this work?
Campion says a book is on backorder, fine. Takes your money but doesn't tell you that it's not being printed until FREAKING APRIL...... The school year is half over by then. I had to wait on hold on the phone for nearly 3 hours only to be told that the year 12 sociology book is not being printed until then. Forget any customer service from campion books they are just full of s*** I don't care about anything as long as I can grab the cash off the bled dry parents. I can assure you I will move heaven and earth to avoid using campion next year even if I have to drive from Melbourne to Perth to pick it up.
Why the excessive cost?
Curious how you buy a limited edition book form an author like Enid Blighton with illustrations by Dali at comparatively equal costs to a Campion school text that is obviously mass produced and contains about as much info as you get free on Google? Interested to see what your margins are? Please let me know if you ever float the company as I think I’d love to invest and retire early!
very bad customer service
I was waiting 40 minutes.finally answered my phone when I requested my question about the purchase,then phone handed up totally waste my time.
A monopoly encouraged by the schools with shocking customer service!
This business exists because the schools (for reasons not know and definetely contrary to the interest of the parents) recommend parents order their books and materials through it. It is a monopoly which totally disregards the consumer rights of their clients. I have placed 4 orders this year for my 3 children and, had it not been for my good organisational skills which allow me to identify the missiong items, we would not have received a number of items ordered and paid for. I spent hours on the phone getting them to address the problem. As...of today (third week of school) we are still waiting delivery of texts needed by our son for his maths classes. He is totally disadvantaged by this lack of concern and customer service. This is totally unnaceptable and the schools must find alternative suppliers able to fill the role that Campion continues to neglect to do.
No customer service
Have had a book on back order since December . Stock never sent- they had lost the order. 2x2 hour wait on phone for customer service to be promised on TWO separate occasions that someone will sort it out and contact us . This has not happened .I have sent 2 separate emails, again- no response. No accountability, no follow through on what is promised , disgraceful . My daughter has started to use the text in school and she doesn’t have it - yet they’ve taken my money. Disgraceful .
Two personnel , THREE long queues , nowhere to park , 5 terminals , long wide counter. Could accommodate many more staff , standing in line , air con insufficient , prices are very high due to monopoly that government should address , 2 stars
More info. As they didn’t have the item in stock I had to back order it. Huge warehouse, not in stock ! Anyway, after got home decided to call to find out how long to deliver. IVR says “your are position 17 in the queue.” Half an hour later I am up to number 8. Obviously there is only one person dealing ...with calls. I feel sorry for the staff, not enough people for the number of customers, The only org I have come across recently with worse waiting times is qantas. Dropped from two stars to 1. upped from 1 star to three due to polite response on productreview and the book came in quickly from Back Order. when I went back queues were ok, not many staff again but not many customers luckily. parking was bad again, who are the people who fill up the spaces out the front, there were not enough customers to fill the spaces . staff? I assume dialling them is still as bad as my review above
I hate this store with every fibre of my being
I’ve a long history of bad experiences with Campion. 20 years of every January having to queue up out front of the store for an eternity in the baking sun. Packed in the store like sardines, everyone shoulder to shoulder. Zero aircon which is baffling since they charge customers exorbitant rates you’d think they could lash out and supply aircon. Not enough staff to help customers find what they’re looking for, which happens most of the time due to the confusing numbering system on shelves. Then queuing again to pay. This year I had to postpone ...the purchasing of my youngest son’s books (for personal reasons) and on Monday just gone I rang Campion and was told I have to do click and collect. I ordered online, paid in full and since every day without books my son falls a little more behind, I called them today to enquire as to when I can come in to pick them up. After being on hold for 47 minutes (who do they think they are… Centrelink, VicRoads???) the customer service rep who, incidentally, sounded like he was a heartbeat away from a coma, told me my order is still in the warehouse, he couldn’t tell me when they’d be ready. I never thought I could hate this company more than I already did, but here we are! My youngest is in year 11 so that means only one more year of having to deal with this hellhole. I’m sure they’ll smash their PB in substandard service, if that’s even possible.

I saw a 5% discount advertised if high school orders were placed before a certain date, I did receive a discount nor did I receive a reply to my email.

We placed an order for my yr 7 Son through the school, got a comfirmation notice and receipt for the order. Went to school and delivery hasn't been made, call this clowns at CAMPION and can't find the order, 2 days for school to start and have no books what a joke, very fast to take your money but useless at delivery and don't care about customers. It is just a waste of time with these guys , poor customer service, unreliable company , probably run by a bunch of thieves that just take people's money and run. Shame on you CAMPION
