Hi Di62,
This unit is an absolute "Dog". Overcome your frustration by taking out to the back yard and talk to it severely with the back of the axe, as I did.

There is a door on the right hand side that you should be able to pull open to reveal the two cartridge slots.

I can only assume yes, if you can connect with wifi or a cable you will be able to print, had the printer for a couple of months now and has been very good, hope you have the same experience with yours.
