Would not recommend it.
It works on the slow side - especially when scanning. The ink cartridges seem to last hardly any time and are expensive to replace - $50 for ink when the printer costs $89. I don't like the software that comes with the printer. I now use it only for scanning and print on my laser printer.

Works good a bit slow sometimes
Works great for a home printer. Sometimes the scanning to email can be a bit slow though and ink seems to run out a bit fast otherwise quiet and good quality printing. Have printed photos both black and white and colour and they have all come out really great. Would recommend for a home orinter

great product
great printer, prints fast and clear. The ink is a reasonable price as well. I love the WIFI setup, no more cords. Easy to use and prints good photos. The printer was a good price for what you get and I could buy it locally in our small country town.

Bad set up
Have just installed this printer for a client so he could print from his PC and Ipad. Tried to connect the printer to the router with no joy. Eventually figured out it had to be connected to the router from the mobile app and only then could it use the router. It can now print wirelessly from his desktop PC and his Ipad but can only scan from his Ipad, if you try to scan from the PC it says that it isn't connected and requires the cable. What a joke, there was nothing in the set up guide that I could see that explains to connect the printer in ...
Read morethis fashion. The fact it would require the cable to scan from his PC is just dumb, we have had wireless printers for a long time that had this basic functionality so I don't understand how it is this difficult to do with the tech we have now.Debbrisbane
Would not recommend
Not satisfied. Once I needed to replace the ink at $60 the printer would not recognize it. I contacted Canon and found them not helpful. Had to send interstate at my expense. As it was starting to look so expensive, and had already spent half a day on the phone to Cannon. I decided to throw it away. I shall never purchase another Canon printer.
Not recommended
I Bought this as a wireless printer, but will only work using cable from laptop and won't work from phone. Very disappointed. Tried several times to install but still won't recognise laptop or phone wirelessly. Print quality is fine when i used it with the canle. Also extremely loud and noisy when starting. Purchased at Aldi
Easy set up
So easy to set up, downloaded the app logged in to the home router and job done took about 5 minutes, print quality seems on par with the price of the printer and is quite fast, no paper jams so far, thanks cannon for the high quality and affordable product.

Frustrating machine to set up and use
Bought this printer with the hope of using it as a wireless printer for our laptops and iphones, but no app compatible for iphones. Having trouble aligning the printer head and keep getting error codes cos the paper jams. I have had other canons before but this one is disappointing> Would not recommend it at any price.Wish I bought another one instead. I print out documents and the lines are wonky and words cut in half.
