Nifty little thing – Zoom & Mega Pixels: -Ive purchased a few digital cameras throughout the past few years and would have to say I've been most impressed by this one. Its 4x optical zoom and whopping 14.1 mega pixels allows you to get the perfect shot. The clarity starts to decrease slightly when reaching 11x optical zoom, however it still takes quite a clear picture.

- I've found this camera great to use on nature shots. I'd expect this camera to be very handy at the zoo, especially when the animals tend to hide towards the back of their area.

Features:

- The dial at the top contains 8 different settings; program, live view, auto, easy, blur reduction, fish eye effect, discreet, and video. So whether you're an expert photographer, just starting out, or looking for some fun, Cannon provides all.

- The screen is a decent size 2.7 inch, allowing you to review your photos with ease.

- Face detection, allowing the camera to detect people in the photo.

Battery:

- The battery life of the Cannon PowerShot is relitively long, allowing you to take approximately 300 shots before needing to recharge.

*Tips:

- When reviewing PHOTOS the only way to zoom in and out is if you turn the knob to 'P'

- When reviewing VIDEOS to enhance/decrease the sound select the (+)/(-) sign which can be found above the "FUNC.SET"

- If your not too comfortable with fiddling around with the settings, use the 'easy mode' Battery life, clear & vibrant shots, excellent zoom, Video recordings wipe out a lot of space on the SD card (much more than usual cameras)
