Canon Powershot G16

Love this little beauty – I bought this one just for my diving. It turned out to work really really good. I am so surprised at the quality of the photos. It did took me more than half a year to know how to handle this camera in the water. It took very good photos without lighting when the dive is not too deep and the light is good enough. When the dive is deeper and the light becomes weaker, the flash in the camera works very well and the photos are very colorful. Having this camera made me enjoy diving just more and more.

Good photo quality in weak light by a small-sized camera – I bought this camera by following the suggestion from a diving photographer. As I am not a professional photographer, paying about $400 for a camera and another $500 for a Fantasy Housing is very suitable. After tried this camera for about 2 months, I would love to say that I made the right choice. Compared to my Canon SX50, G16 can not shoot things too far away and the quality doesn't seem to be better than SX50 in daytime. So in daytime, I tend to keep using my SX50. However, when the sun is down and the light is weak, the photo quality of G16 is much better. The diving photos are fantastic too. So I would highly suggest this camera for those who would like to get some good quality photo in weak light but prefer an easy-carried camera.
